TROMBOEMBOLISMO VENOSO: TERAPIE CONSOLIDATE E NUOVE PROSPETTIVE Sophie Testa Centro Emostasi e Trombosi A.O. EFFICACY NEJM 2013 SAFETY NEJM 2013 Circulation 2014;130:1062-71 Based on indirect comparison, we expect the net benefit of extended anticoagulant therapy in patients with unprovoked VTE to be substantially greater than the benefits of extended aspirin therapy. Consequently, we do not consider aspirin a reasonable alternative to anticoagulant therapy in patients who want extended therapy. CHEST 2016; 149(2):315-352 E NEL “MONDO REALE”?
