Gerald Brandstätter
Gerald Brandstätter è un vero cosmopolita: nato in Svizzera da padre austriaco e madre olandese.
Dopo aver terminato gli studi presso la Scuola di Progettazione di Zurigo ha proseguito i suoi studi
presso l’Art Center College of Design in California conseguendo il titolo di Bachelor of Product
Design. Nel 1994 apre il suo primo studio di Interior Design Conzepta a Zurigo e nel 1998 il secondo
studio Conzept-B GmbH. Tutt’ora lavora per aziende austriache, tedesche, olandesi, svizzere e
italiane. Oltre alla sua attività di designer è anche lettore presso diverse scuole di design e editore
freelance per riviste di design ed architettura. Ha iniziato la sua collaborazione con Alberta Pacific
Furniture srl nell’Aprile 2008.
Gerald Brandstätter is a true cosmopolitan: he was born in Switzerland to an Austrian father and Dutch
mother. After studying at the School of Design in Zürich, he continued his studies at the Art Center
College of Design in California, graduating as a Bachelor of Product Design. In 1994 he opened
his first Interior Design studio called Conzepta in Zürich and in 1998 he opened a second called
Conzept-B GmbH. Currently he works for companies from Austria, Germany, Holland, Switzerland
and Italy. As well as being a designer he also lectures at various design schools and is a freelance
contributor to design and architecture magazines. He has been working with Alberta Pacific Furniture
srl since April 2008.
Gerald Brandstätter est un cosmopolite: il est né en Suisse de père autrichien et de mère hollandaise.
Après avoir terminé ses étudies à l’Ecole de Design à Zurich il a continués à l’Art Center College de
Design en Californie et il a obtenu le titre de Bachelor of Product Design. En 1994 il a ouvert son
premier Studio de Interior Design Conzepta à Zurich et en 1998 le deuxième Studio Conzept-B GmbH.
Il est toujours en train de travailler pour des entreprises de plusieurs pays: Autriche, Allemagne,
Hollande, Suisse et Italie. En plus de l’activité de designer il est aussi lecteur chez différentes écoles
de Design et éditeur freelance pour revues de design et d’architecture. Dès le mois d’Avril 2008 il a
commencé à collaborer avec Alberta Pacific Furniture Srl
Gerald Brandstätter ist ein wahrer Kosmopolit: Er ist in der Schweiz geboren, sein Vater ist Österreicher,
seine Mutter Holländerin. Nach seiner Ausbildung an der Schule für Gestaltung in Zürich, machte
er ein weiteres Studium am Art Center College of Design in California, das er mit dem Bachelor
of Product Design abschloss. Im Jahre 1994 eröffnete er Conzepta, ein Atelier für Interior Design,
im Jahr 1998 sein Atelier Conzept-B GmbH. Heute arbeitet er für Unternehmen aus Österreich,
Deutschland, Holland, der Schweiz und Italien. Neben seinen Aktivitäten als Designer unterrichtet
er an verschiedenen Design Schulen und schreibt über Design und Architektur für diverse Magazine
und Fachzeitschriften. Für Alberta Pacific Furniture srl arbeitet er seit April 2008.
FIORENZO DORIGO
Dal 1977 frequenta lo Studio Signomega e affianca Bruno Maria Fracarossi nell’esperienza di “total
design” dei progetti “Seabuggy” (selezionato per il Compasso d’Oro nel 1979) e “Quartz”(cucina
rivestita in vetro temprato: 1982). È iscritto all’ADI, all’IIDD (Istituto Italiano per il Design e la Disabilità)
ed è libero professionista dal 1987. Nel 2002 e 2003 ha tenuto dei seminari di Design applicato
all’Università di Padova, presso l’Istituto per l’industria del legno. Attualmente progetta per aziende
nel settore del design domestico, dell’ufficio e della comunità. Suoi i prodotti selezionati per i premi
“Grandesign” (2003-2004) e “Best selection” (2003). Collabora con Alberta Pacific Furniture srl dal
novembre 2007.
Fiorenzo has been an active part of the Signomega Studio since 1977 and worked closely with Bruno
Maria Fracarossi in “total design” for the “Seabuggy” (selected for the Golden Compass in 1979)
and “Quartz” (kitchen covered in tempered glass: 1982) projects. He is a member of ADI, IIDD (Italian
Institute for Design and Disability) and has been freelance since 1987. In 2002 and 2003 he held
seminars on Design at the Wood Industry Institute, part of Padua University. Currently he designs
for companies in the home, office and community sectors. His designs have been selected for the
“Grandesign”(2003-2004) and “Best Selection” (2003) awards. He has been working with Alberta
Pacific Furniture srl since November 2007.
A partir de 1975, pendant ses études artistiques, il a collaboré avec des entreprises d’ameublement en
s’occupant de concept et image. Depuis 1977, il travaille dans le Signomega Studio en collaboration
avec Bruno Maria Fracarossi dans le “total design” pour le projet “Seabuggy” (sélectionné pour le
Compas d’or en 1979) et “Quartz” (cuisine couverte en verre trempé: 1982). Il est membre de l’ADI,

Angefangen in 1975, während er noch “Artistic Design” studierte, arbeitete er im Design und
Imagebereich fuer verschiedene Firmen des Möbelsektors. Seit 1977 ist er aktiv im Signomega Studio
involviert und arbeitet direkt mit Bruno Maria Fracarossi im “Total Design” Projekt für “SEABUGGY”
(ausgesucht für den “GOLDEN COMPASS” 1979 und “QUARTZ (Küchen mit glas, 1982). Er ist
Mitglied im ADI, IIDD (Italienischem Institut für Design und Invalidität) und freischaffend seit 1987.
In 2002 und 2003 hat er Seminare für Design-Entwicklung im Institut für Holzindustrie der Universität
Padova geleitet. Momentan entwirft er für Möbelfirmen im Privat, Buero und öffentlichen Bereich.
Seine Entwürfe wurden für die Auszeichnung “Grand Design” (2002-2003) und “Best Selection”
(2003) ausgesucht. Seit November 2007 arbeitet er mit Alberta Pacific Furniture llc zusammen.

Cynthia Starnes
Dopo il diploma in business administration e commercio estero, lavora in una azienda di accessori
tecnici per l’arredamento. Nel novembre del 1999 si diploma all’Academy of Design di Ebern.
Collabora in esclusiva per sei anni con una importante azienda tedesca del settore dell’arredamento
come designer. Dal 2007 opera come freelance designer. Nel 1999 vince il Meisterprei della
Bayerische Staatsregierung ed ottiene una menzione speciale all’interno del concorso Salix Viminalis.
Nel 2004 raggiunge la vittoria del Reddot Design Award grazie al modello PEARL. Ha iniziato la sua
collaborazione con Alberta Pacific Furniture srl dal Settembre 2007.
After graduating in business administration and foreign trade, Cynthia worked for a company
producing technical accessories for the furnishing sector. In November 1999 she obtained a diploma
from the Academy of Design in Ebern, Germany. For six years she worked as a designer with a large
German company in their furniture department and since 2007 she has been working as a freelance
designer. In 1999 she won the Meisterpreis from the Bayerische Staatsregierung (Bavarian State
Government) as well as special mention at the Salix Viminalis contest. In 2004 she won the Reddot
Design Award with her model PEARL. She has been designing for Alberta Pacific Furniture srl since
September 2007.
Après son diplôme en business administration et commerce extérieur, elle travaille dans une
entreprise d’accessoires techniques pour l’ameublement. En Novembre 1999 elle a été diplômé
par l’Academy of Design à Ebern, en Allemagne Elle a travaillé, comme designer en exclusivité,
pendant 6 ans pour une importante société allemande dans le secteur de l’ameublement. Depuis
2007 elle exerce comme freelance designer. En 1999 elle a gagné le Meisterpreis of the Bayerische
Staatsregierung et obtenu une mention spéciale au concours Salix Viminalis. En 2004 elle a obtenu la
victoire de Reddot Deisgn Award grâce au mod. PEARL. Elle a commencé à collaborer avec Alberta
Pacific Furniture dès Septembre 2007.
Nach einer Ausbildung in Internationaler Betriebswirtschaftslehre sammelt sie handwerkliche
Kenntnisse in einer Lehre als Tischlerin. Im November 1999 erhält sie ihr Diplom von der Akademie
für Gestaltung in Ebern, Deutschland. Sie arbeitet sechs Jahre als Designerin und Produktentwicklerin
eines renommierten deutschen Möbelherstellers. Seit 2007 ist sie als Designerin selbstständig. 1999
erhält sie den Meisterpreis der Bayerischen Staatsregierung und eine Anerkennung beim Wettbewerb
„Salix Viminalis“. 2004 erhält sie für das Modell PEARL den Reddot Desing Seit September 2007
entwirft sie für Alberta Pacific Furniture srl.

FABRIZIO BALLARDINI
Architetto dal 1977, si dedica fino dal 1980 all’Industrial Design, collaborando con aziende
dell’arredamento d’importanza internazionale. Il suo design si identifica negli anni ’90 per la
dinamicità degli oggetti che progetta e che considera “camaleontici” per il loro trasformismo.
Pubblica in quegli anni il quaderno CAMAELEO, una raccolta dei suoi progetti più significativi, tra i
quali il divano RIBALTA, presente alla rassegna parigina Techniques Discrètes nel 1991 e premio TOP
TEN 1993 a Colonia. Si dedica da sempre al settore tessile per l’arredamento, per il quale nutre un
piacevole interesse. Ha iniziato a collaborare con Alberta Pacific Furniture srl dal 2001.
A qualified architect since 1977, Fabrizio has dedicated his energies to Industrial Design since 1980
in cooperation with large international furniture companies. In the 1990s his designs were described
as chameleon-like for their ability to transform and be transformed. In those years he published
CAMAELEO, a collection of his most important designs including RIBALTA which was presented as
Discrètes Techniques in Paris in 1991 and awarded TOP TEN 1993 in Cologne. He has always been
focused on the textile furniture sector, for which he has a great passion. He started working with
Alberta Pacific Furniture Inc. In 2001.
Architecte depuis 1977, il se consacre depuis 1980 à l’Industrial Design collaborant avec des
entreprises d’ameublement d’importance internationale. Son design s’identifie dans les années ’90,
pour la dynamique des objets projetés qui sont considèrés “caméléon” pour leur transformisme.
A cette époque il publie le cahier CAMAELEO, un recueil de ses projets plus significatifs parmi lesquels le canapé RIBALTA, présent à l’exposition parisienne Techniques Discrètes en 1991 et prix
Top Ten 1993 à Cologne. Il s’est depuis toujours dédié au secteur du textile pour l’ameublement,
qu’il apprécie beaucoup. Il a commencé à collaborer avec Alberta Pacific Furniture en 2001.

seit 1980 dem industriellem Design. Sein Design identifizierte sich in den neunziger Jahren für die
Dynamik seiner entwickelten Modelle als kamaeleonisch für ihre Umwandlungsfähigkeit. In diesen
Jahren veröffentlichte er CAMAELEO Buch, eine Kollektion seiner wichtigsten Modelle, wie zum
Beispiel RIBALTA, welches 1991 an der Technique Discretes Paris vorgestellt wurde und 1993 in
Köln TOP TEN prämiert wurde. Er hat sich immer dem Textilbereich der Möbelbranche gewidmet,
für welchen er eine großes Interesse hegt. Er begann seine Zusammenarbeit mit Alberta Pacific
Furniture in 2001.
