Attraverso un ponticello alto e slanciato, si raggiunge il piccolo
borgo che si erge su uno sprone di roccia dove un tempo, nel lontano
1039, venne costruito il primo nucleo abitativo del Borro, intorno
ad una roccaforte.
Grazie alla posizione sopraelevata e alla natura
selvaggia che lo circonda, il borgo è un prezioso
angolo di Toscana dove il tempo si è fermato e
dove oggi è possibile assaporare sensazioni
autentiche.
Uno stile semplice ed elegante declinato
con personalità, nei 14 appartamenti dislocati
nell’antico paese, tra le botteghe degli
artigiani, pavimenti in pietra e inaspettati
scorci pittoreschi.
Negli appartamenti la tradizione sposa
il moderno, la costante è la cura del dettaglio,
fino ad arrivare al comfort e alla funzionalità,
caratteristiche presenti in ogni struttura della

Crossing a narrow, cobbled bridge, you arrive at the tiny village
that nestles on a spur of rock, where in 1039 was constructed the
first family house of Il Borro around a stronghold. Giving gratitude
to it’s elevated position and the nature that
surrounds it, the village is a precious corner of
Tuscany that stopped time in it’s tracks, where
today it is possible to savour its’ authentic
sensations.
A simple style and eleganlty set with personlaity,
14 apartments, dislocated around the old hamlet,
craftsmens workshops, cobbled stone streets and
unexpected pituresque glimpses of the stunning
surroundings. Inside the marriage of tradition
and modernisation is gradually seen, to combine
comfort and funzionality, however with
meticulous detail to remain within the boundarys
of the much sought-after Italian flair,
characterised in each property within the estate.

PRINICPESSA, CIPRIANI, NARDI, Il Giardino di NARDI
Quattro gli appartamenti di categoria superiore che, dopo un
rispettoso lavoro di restauro, sono stati reinterpretati con eleganza
e modernità dall’interior designer Ilaria Ferragamo: le Suites
del Borgo.
Sì all’irrinunciabile legno per le travi a vista, ma stavolta laccate
di bianco, per un look assolutamente
contemporaneo e al passo con i tempi.
Le tinte scure sono sostituite con un avorio
corposo e raffinato, di grande effetto
luminoso che ripercorre le suites regalando
un tocco di sofisticata eleganza all’antichità
delle strutture.
La regina delle suites “Principessa”,
affacciata sui calanchi che circondano la
tenuta, “Cipriani” sull’antica piazzetta del Borgo e “Nardi” che
si nasconde alle spalle del paese, con un suggestivo affaccio sulla
ricca vegetazione della riserva che di notte, si perde nel buio e,
ad interrompere il silenzio, solo i richiami degli animali che la
abitano.
Are four apartments in the superior category, that after a long
restoration works, have been reinterpreted with the panache and
elite creative ideas of interior designer, Ilaria Ferragamo.
The typical exposed wooden beams give the houses their tuscan
character, but treated and given a white
coating, for a contemporary yet timeless
look. The dark colours, substituted with
ivory shades, rich and refined to give
an effect of luminosity with a touch
of sophistication.
The queen of the suites “Principessa”
looks out over the ravines that encircle
the estate. “Cipriani” faces onto the small piazza of the village.
“Nardi” hides itself, sitting at the back of the village, with views
of the rich vegetation of the nature reserve, that is lost in the
darkness of the night, with the only interruptions in the silence
being the calls of animals.

appartamenti e permette di condividere
una vacanza con gli amici, senza però

con il paesaggio circostante, gli interni garantiscono spazio e
comodità, in particolare nella zona giorno,i grandi spazi unici
rievocano la vita diurna delle famiglie toscane.

The external apparent of the farmhouses
reaches into the surrounding landscape, the interiors guarantee

Costruita nel 1848 dal principe Hohenlohe, Villa Il Borro ha
vissuto nella sua lunga storia momenti di splendore e anche di
grandi disfacimenti.
Lasciata in stato di abbandono dopo la seconda guerra mondiale,
torna oggi finalmente a nuova vita.
Dall’architettura severa tipica delle
residenze dell’Ottocento, la Villa, è
ingentilita da infiniti dettagli romantici.
Per un servizio impeccabile, sarà il nostro
staff a prendersi cura di voi fin dalle
prime ore del mattino per un dolce
risveglio al fragrante profumo di cornetti
appena sfornati, fino al momento della
cena resa speciale dai nostri Chef.
Abbraccia la Villa un bellissimo giardino
all’ italiana che come nelle migliori
tradizioni, è fiorito, ordinato e arricchito da una centrale fontana
che, per un curioso gioco di luci e scintillii, sembra piovere sul
piccolo Borgo medievale.
Constructed in 1848 by Prince Hohenlohe, the Il Borro villa has
lived a long history, moments of splendour, however also great
esthetic decline.
Left in a state of abandon after the second world war, today it has
been restored to it’s original beauty and
given a new life. From the severe
architecture, typical of the residences
dating from the ‘800’s, the villa has been
refined with infinite romantic details.
For an impeccable service,our staff take
care of you from the beginning of your
day, starting with a gentle alarm call,
from the sweet scent of freshly baked
croissants, until the the evening dinner,
made special by our Chefs. Wrapping
itself around the base of the villa is the
Italian garden, as in our best traditional
style, is neat, full of flowers and is
completed by a centre-piece of the ornate fountain, that succeeds
in playing a game with the light and makes it seem as though it is
throwing raindrops over the small village below.

All’esterno un grande giardino che sembra
perdersi nei vigneti, in perfetta fusione con
gli interni, chiari e luminosi, finemente
arredati con mobili di manifattura toscana,
possenti travi a vista e preziose ceramiche
artigianali.
Caldi accostamenti di colori nei toni del
legno e dell’avorio, grandi vetrate che si
aprono sul giardino e dettagli in ferro
battuto per la zona Living.
Contemporaneità e calore, tradizione e
minimalismo… “l’armonia nasce dai
contrasti” e Casetta ne è la perfetta sintesi.
An enchanting property, a true definiton of
“deluxe” settled in it’s own domain surrounded
by the Merlot vines, accomplishing as
intended, an atmosphere of calmness and
serenity.
Looking in from the large garden, which
doesn’t end but loses it’s borders by drifting
into the vineyard, the interior is finely
furnished with masterpieces made in
Tuscany, exposed wooden beams and
precious ceramics, warm combinations of
colours and tones of wooden finishings
leading to the grand windows opening out
onto the lawn, wrought iron gardenfurniture.
Comtemporary minimalism is the key,
“harmony was born from contrast” and
Casetta in perfect in it’s synthesis.

campagne toscane.
Splendido casale con piscina, all’insegna
della tradizione e dell’ esclusività.
Lo stile è quello classico del casale di
campagna ma in chiave “luxury”.
Con sei camere da letto, zona wellness e
la zona giorno ricca di luce, grazie alle
ampie vetrate, mettendo in risalto
i preziosi materiali che arredano gli
interni. I toni pastello di un tramonto
settembrino, l’avvolgente profumo dei

position from where you are able to admire the Il Borro estate and
the surrounding nature, the horizon takes you to the pastures
where the calm, white Chianina cattle
graze, then from olive grove to vineyard,
that demonstrates the noble Tuscan
countryside.

A collection of historical etchings.
67 prints from Ferruccio Ferragamo’s private collection, accumulated with
passion over the years, through searches amongst the antique trade in Italy
and abroad. An ensemble of etchings dating from ‘400’s to ‘800’s based on
the subject of wine and it’s representations within these 400 years of the
story of art. The journey to the art gallery from the cellar, bringing
together our wines and the “Wine and Art” exhibition, for a duo in Italian
excellence.

Più che una visita, la cantina del Borro offre un’ esperienza intensa
e suggestiva. Più di 600 barriques in legno francese, lungo
i corridoi sinuosi che si snodano e
terminano nella vecchia cantina
dell’Ottocento, collegata alla villa
padronale da segreti tunnel sotterranei.
Per giungere al momento della
degustazione nella cupola, dove poter
assaggiare le nostre etichette in
abbinamento ai prodotti tipici del
territorio toscano e il nostro olio
extravergine d’oliva dal gusto intenso e
deciso.
Uve di Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Syrah, Petit Verdot e il più tipico
Sangiovese, per i vini che portano la
firma di Ferruccio e Salvatore Ferragamo
e ne sono l’emblema, rappresentanti di un territorio ma soprattutto
rappresentanti del loro stile, fatto di grande l’eleganza.
More than just a tour, the Il Borro wine cellar offers an intense
experience. Over 600 barrels in French wood along the corridor,
steep and winding that gradually
finishes at the old part of the cellar,
which dates from the ‘800’s, connected
to the main villa by secret underground
tunnels. The tasting takes place in the
“Oval room” when you can try each of
our labels together with typical products
of the region, cheeses, meats and breads
and our extra virgin olive oil, that has
an intense and decisive taste. Grapes
varieties from Merlot, Cabernet
Sauvignon, Syrah Petit Verdot and the
most typical Sangiovese, are used for
our wines that Ferruccio and Salvatore
Ferragamo give their name and their
emblem to, representing a territory, but above all representing
their flair and elegance, produced in grand style.
