Slaughterseason
in Fjallamb,
Iceland
Fjallalamb slaughterhouse and food
production plant is seeking after
hardworking people for the upcoming
slaughterseason this autumn, which
starts September 12th and reaches
until approximately October 24th –
25th. Experience is recommended but
not necessary. We are looking for
persons who are willing to do hard work
and long hours, allthough it depends on
what type of work you´ll be doing.
Normal working hours are from 07:00 –
16:00 Mondays – Fridays. Minimum
salary is about 205.000 ISK (1.290
euros depending on the rate of
exchange ) per month before taxes and
duties. Tax is 37,4% - 40,24% and tax
reduction is 1.525,57 ISK per day
during your stay in Iceland. Overtime is
paid after regular hours with
compensation of 80% over regular
hours. Salaries can be higher
depending on the job at hand, your
training and skills as in your abilities to
adapt to new things and to the work
environment around you. Benefits: Free
accommodation and bed linen. Free
meals (breakfast, lunch, coffeebreak,
dinner) at the plant during working
hours. Minimum facilities free of charge

workers for the sheep slaughtering
season 2012 in Húsavík. Húsavík –
north east coast of Iceland: Around 20
persons are needed for these jobs from
5th of September until approximately
the 31st of October. Total wages are
approximately 262.000 ISK. pr. month
before taxes and duties, for 8 hours
