Cari amici,
siamo arrivati alle fiere del 2014, Prowein e Vinitaly, immancabili appuntamenti per molti di
Voi allo stand di Viver. Ci troverete a Düsseldorf nel Padiglione 3, stand H37 ed al Vinitaly nel
Padiglione 4, stand D8/E8 sempre accanto a Vini Fabiano. Ma quali saranno le novità di Viver per
il 2014? Innanzitutto il nostro trasloco, da Casa Fabiano ci spostiamo di un solo chilometro in una
sede diversa. Proprio in occasione del Vinitaly inaugureremo la rinnovata Enoteca Viver, aperta
al pubblico locale ed al turismo estivo legato al Lago di Garda. Sveliamo poi il nome della nuova
Cantina Toscana unitasi al nostro gruppo, ultima regione necessaria per il completamento delle
principali aree vitivinicole Italiane in Viver. Della nuova Sede e della Cantina Toscana troverete
ampie notizie all’interno di questo Viver News.

A LOT OF NEWS IN 2014 FOR VIVER
Dear friends,
we have reached the time of the important wine fairs of 2014, Prowein and Vinitaly,
unmissable events for many of you to visit the Viver stand. You will find us in Düsseldorf
in Hall 3, Stand H37 and at Vinitaly in Hall 4, stand D8/E8 beside the Vini Fabiano stand.
And what is the news for Viver in 2014? First of all, our move from Casa Fabiano to a new
building just one kilometre down the road: during the Vinitaly fair we will inaugurate the
Viver Wine Shop, open to the public and to the local summer tourism connected to Lake
Garda. The name of the new Tuscan Estate that has joined our group is finally revealed, the
final important wine producing Italian region for the completion of the Viver portfolio. You
will find extensive information about Viver’s new headquarters and of the Tuscan winery in
this Viver News issue.
We are eagerly expecting you at the upcoming fairs to consolidate the relationships that have
united us thus far, confident that the meeting with the producers present will strengthen the
trust that binds our loyal customers to Viver and its producers.

VIVER TRASLOCA NELLA NUOVA SEDE DOVE INAUGURA
UNA GRANDE ENOTECA APERTA AL PUBBLICO
Ad otto anni dalla sua costituzione Viver rilancia
e, a conferma della fiducia con cui guarda al
futuro, apre una nuova sede operativa con
annesso punto vendita destinato a far conoscere
sul territorio locale i vini degli amici produttori
del nostro gruppo. Al fine di proporre ai clienti
un’esperienza gustativa completa ed appagante,
l’abbinamento dei nostri vini con prodotti
gastronomici di qualità sarà parte integrante e
qualificante della nostra offerta.
Non è stato facile trovare una location che potesse
interpretare al meglio i nostri desideri e la nostra
visione, ma alla fine il nostro impegno è stato premiato.
Cuore della nuova sede è lo show room di oltre 110 mq ed
una accogliente veranda di 50 mq dedicata alle degustazioni.
Al piano superiore trovano invece spazio gli uffici direzionali e
il personale di vendita dedicato alla clientela estera.
Ci auguriamo che molti di voi, in visita al prossimo Vinitaly,
vengano a visitarci. Il negozio rimarrà infatti aperto per tutta
la durata della rassegna.
Mariaclaudia e Paola si occuperanno della nostra enoteca
e saranno felici di accogliervi per un aperitivo di benvenuto
e festeggiare insieme questa nuova attività. Potrete inoltre
visionare in dettaglio gran parte della nostra selezione di vini
che è a vostra disposizione e che molti di voi già conoscono.
L’inaugurazione avverrà sabato 5 Aprile proprio in occasione
del Vinitaly ed in quella data tutti noi saremo presenti in Enoteca per voi.
La nuova sede si trova ad un chilometro e mezzo dalla sede attuale in direzione Verona, Località Crocioni di
Bussolengo, sempre sulla strada provinciale 11, a due passi dal Centro Commerciale “La Grande Mela”.
Resteranno invariate le mail ed i telefoni di contatto. La logistica rimane invece in
Fabiano dove avviene il groupage, servizio offerto gratuitamente alla nostra affezionata
clientela europea.
VIVER IS MOVING TO A NEW LOCATION WHERE WE
INAUGURATE A BIG WINE SHOP OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Eight years after its establishment, Viver re-launches itself! In confirmation of
the confidence with which it looks to the future, Viver is opening new offices
with an adjoining store, with the intention to raise local awareness on the wines
of all the partners in the Viver group. In order to offer customers a complete
and satisfying taste experience, the combination of our wines with quality food
products will be an integral and qualifying part of our offer.
It was not easy to find a location that could best interpret our desires and our vision, but
in the end our efforts were rewarded. Heart of the new site is the showroom of over 110 square meters
and a cosy veranda of 50 square meters: an ideal setting for wine tasting. The upstairs floor houses the
executive offices and the offices of the sales staff dedicated to foreign customers.
We hope that many of you, on your visit to Vinitaly, will come to visit us. The store will remain open for the
whole duration of the fair.
Mariaclaudia and Paola will take care of our wine bar and will be happy to welcome you with a welcome drink
to celebrate this new activity. You can also view in detail most of our selection of wines that are available,
including some that you may not yet know!
The inauguration will take place on Saturday, April 5th in time with Vinitaly and on that date all of us will be
in the Wine Shop for you.
The new office is located just one mile from its current location in the direction of Verona, Località Crocioni
in the town of Bussolengo. The site is along the provincial road 11, just paces from the Mall “La Grande Mela”.
E-mail addresses and telephone numbers will remain unchanged. The logistics centre, however, will remain
within Fabiano where groupages are assembled, a free service for our loyal European customers.

VILLA TRASQUA - 120 ETTARI NEL CHIANTI CLASSICO

Svelato finalmente il nome della cantina Toscana entrata nel gruppo Viver! Si tratta della Tenuta Villa Trasqua, 120
ettari nel cuore della Toscana, di cui 56 ettari di vigneto sono destinati alla produzione del Chianti Classico. Questo
territorio, compreso tra le città di Firenze e Siena, si trova nella zona del Gallo Nero che è simbolo di questa DOCG.
Il sangiovese qui ha dato il meglio di se sin dal 1716, in accordo oggi con il severo disciplinare di produzione.
Dopo l’acquisizione dell’azienda da parte della famiglia Hulsbergen, che ha fatto notevoli investimenti, Villa Trasqua
dispone ad oggi di 42 ha di questa varietà dove nascono il Chianti Classico Evoluto, il Chianti Classico Riserva
Fanatico ed il Chianti Classico Riserva CRU Nerento, un crescendo entusiasmante di vini di grande struttura. Gli ettari
vitati rimanenti sono destinati alla coltivazione di altri vitigni internazionali, come Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet
Franc, Merlot, Alicante Bouchet, dove sono prodotti vini ad indicazione geografica tipica, incluso il pluripremiato
Supertuscan Trasgaia, vino da non farsi mancare. La cantina accoglie i visitatori tutto l’anno, dove attraverso un
piacevole tour guidato nei vigneti ed in cantina, possono conoscere come i vini vengono lavorati, dalla fermentazione
all’invecchiamento, fino alla bottiglia. La collaborazione di Villa Trasqua con Viver è iniziata già sei anni fa circa, ma
in data 27 Novembre 2013 è entrata finalmente a far parte del nostro gruppo di aziende. Vi aspettiamo allo stand
Prowein per incontrare il produttore e degustare questi splendidi vini!
VILLA TRASQUA - 120 ACRES IN CHIANTI CLASSICO
The name of Viver group’s new entry is finally revealed: the Tuscan winery Villa Trasqua! The Estate covers
an area of 120 hectares in the heart of Tuscany, of which 56 hectares are vineyard within the Chianti Classico,
that territory between the cities of Florence and Siena where the DOCG wine that bears the symbol of the Black
Rooster is protagonist. The Sangiovese grape varietal, that since 1716 succeeds in yielding the best of itself here,
in accordance with a strict Production Code. After the acquisition of the Estate by the family Hulsbergen, which
has made significant investments to date, Villa Trasqua has 42 hectares of this variety from which Chianti
Classico Evoluto, Chianti Classico Riserva Fanatico and Chianti Classico Riserva CRU Nerento are all obtained
in a crescendo of exciting wines of great structure. The remaining hectares are dedicated to the cultivation
of other native and international grape varietals - Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Alicante
Bouschet – which are transformed into a range of wines which carry the IGT appellation, including the awardwinning supertuscan Trasgaia, a wine that is not to be missed. The winery welcomes visitors throughout the
year, where a walk through the adjacent vineyards can be enjoyed together with guided visits of the cellars to
learn where and how the wines are fermented, aged within large and small barrels and then refined in the
bottle. The collaboration of Villa Trasqua with Viver began about six years ago, but on November 27, 2013
finally came to be part of our group of wine-producing estates. Visit us on the Prowein stand to meet the
producer and taste these wonderful wines!

VINICOLA NEGRI - DA UN VITIGNO “ORDINARIO”
UN LAMBRUSCO STRAORDINARIO!
Vinicola Negri è da sempre riconosciuta come azienda produttrice di Lambruschi di alta qualità. Da oltre quarant’anni
crea i suoi prodotti da vitigni situati in Sabbioneta, la migliore zona vinicola per la coltivazione del “Lambrusco Mantovano
DOP”. Da questi 15 ettari vitati di terra si produce una gamma più che completa ed esclusiva di prodotti: oltre ai Lambruschi
“tradizionali” (metodo Charmat) l’azienda vanta un prestigioso Lambrusco metodo classico nella versione Rosso e Rosato.
Completano la gamma le raccolte tardive dalle quali si ottengono degli ottimi vini da dessert.
Oggi più che mai l’intenzione di Viver e dell’enologo Roberto Negri, attuale proprietario e figlio del fondatore dell’azienda
stessa, è quella di sviluppare la corretta conoscenza e conseguentemente la vendita di questo vino qualitativamente distinto;
e proprio per questo è stata studiata una specifica iniziativa promozionale che siamo certi verrà apprezzata e sfruttata
da chi la saprà cogliere. Vi viene offerta infatti una promozione speciale per il primo ordine del 15% sui Lambruschi
Mantovani DOC (Rigoletto, La Giara, Novecento, Mopso e Menalca) e del 10+1 sui Lambruschi frizzanti IGT (dolce e
secco); promozione valida fino ad Aprile 2014 compreso e che va ad aggiungersi ad eventuali sconti già in uso.

Negri winery has always been recognized as a producer of high quality Lambrusco. For over forty years, it creates its
products from vineyards located in Sabbioneta, the best wine-growing region for the cultivation of “Lambrusco Mantova
DOP.” From these 15 hectares of vineyards a more complete and exclusive range of products are obtained: in addition to the
“traditional” Lambrusco (Charmat), the company boasts a prestigious Lambrusco Rosso and Rosato made according to the
classical method. The range is completed by late harvesting, which produce excellent dessert wines.
Today more than ever the intention of Viver and winemaker Roberto Negri, the current owner and son of the founder of the
company, is to develop greater awareness and to diffuse the proper knowledge of this qualitatively distinct wine. For this
reason, we have elaborated a specific promotional initiative that we are sure will be appreciated and taken advantage of by
those who seize grand opportunities! We are in fact offering a special promotion for the first order of 15% on Lambrusco

IL MIGLIOR VINO DELLA CANTINA SECONDO LUCA MARONI...
Il Cannonau di Masone Mannu - Punteggio: 88/100
Tenuta Masone Mannu ha ottenuto questo prestigioso riconoscimento di Luca Maroni con il suo Cannonau
di Sardegna DOC, un vino simbolo del territorio sardo. Il colore è rosso rubino con riflessi granati, al naso
intenso, ricco di sentori di frutta rossa e spezie; al palato è fresco e morbido con un giusto apporto di
tannini. Esalta le sue doti se abbinato a piatti di carne rossa cotta alla griglia, arrosti e selvaggina.
Dei 60 ettari coltivati nel cuore della Gallura, Tenuta Masone Mannu spicca inoltre per la produzione di altri
vini tipici ed indistinguibili di questa zona come il Vermentino di Gallura e l’IGT Isola dei Nuraghi.
Il Moscato d’asti “Santa Teresa” di Guasti - Punteggio: 87/100
Luca Maroni anche quest’anno ha premiato Il moscato d’asti “Santa Teresa” dell’azienda vitivinicola
Clemente Guasti. Questo vino viene prodotto da vitigni situati nella tenuta che da il nome ad esso (Santa
Teresa) ad un altitudine di 250m sul livello del mare. Il terreno prettamente calcareo ed argilloso trasmette
a questo prodotto i suoi tipici profumi. Il colore è giallo paglierino con riflessi dorati. Profumo aromatico,
caratteristico , intenso e fragrante. Sapore dolce con una gradevole nota aromatica che lo contraddistingue.
Questa cantina vinicola può contare su quattro importanti cascine di proprietà nelle posizioni più
favorevoli, con una superficie complessiva di 40 ettari, di cui 29 coltivati a vigneto. Oltre alla produzione del
Moscato, diversi riconoscimenti sono stati attribuiti ad altri prodotti come i vari Barbera, Barcarato e Gavi.
THE BEST WINE OF THE WINERY ACCORDING TO LUCA MARONI
Cannonau Masone Mannu - Score: 88/100
Tenuta Masone Mannu achieved this prestigious award from Luca Maroni with its Cannonau di
Sardegna DOC, a symbol of Sardinian territory. Color is ruby red with garnet reflections; intense and
rich aroma with hints of red fruits and spices; fresh and smooth on the palate with the right amount
of tannin. The wine’s qualities are enhanced with grilled red meat, roast meat and game.
With 60 hectares in the heart of the Gallura area, Tenuta Masone Mannu is also well known for
its production of other traditional and distinctive wines like Vermentino di Gallura and Isola dei
Nuraghi IGT.
Moscato d’Asti “ Santa Teressa” Guasti - Score: 87/100
Again this year Luca Maroni decided to award Moscato d’Asti “Santa Teresa” from the Guasti
Clemente winery. This wine is produced from vineyards situated in the estate from which it obtains
its name, Santa Teresa, at an altitude of 250 m a.s.l. Chalky and clay soil gives this product its typical
characteristics. Color is straw-yellow with golden reflections, characteristic aromatic bouquet,
intense and fragrant. Sweet tasting, with a pleasant aromatic hint that sets it apart. At present the
company has four large estates under its ownership, with a total area of 40 hectares, of which 29 in
the most favorable positions are cultivated as vineyards. Besides its Moscato Production, different
awards have been assigned to others wines, like the Barberas, Barcarato and Gavi

Viver organization
Viver Distribution began in Verona in 2007. We select prestigious vintners from the most suitable
areas in Italy. Today they have many contributing wineries representing the main Italian regions
- from Trentino to Sicily for a total of over 150 labels, as well as one brand of coffee produced by a
coffee-roasting business in Verona. Thus our customers can easily find and select the products they
are interested in from a wide range by purchasing from a single distributor.
Since 2009, having developed their distribution chain in Verona and its province, Viver expanded
its business into the markets of central Europe and in particular in Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg,
Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Poland. The entire range of products is offered in accordance with
the availability of suppliers to other markets outside Europe who request them.
Viver is committed to ensuring rapid delivery to customers, who can choose from a wide range
of products, ordering minimum quantities by type, thereby minimizing transportation costs and
inventory as well as administrative costs. Our customers, in fact, can purchase wines from all over
Italy with a single order and a single shipment.
