Fondata nel 1991, FINEST, dalle sue sedi
di Pordenone, Padova e Mosca, partecipa
e sostiene i progetti internazionali
delle imprese del Nord-Est italiano.
Impegnata nella valorizzazione economica di un territorio
in cui è profondamente radicata, supporta le aziende
locali, fortemente vocate all’export, storicamente
orientate all’innovazione e capaci di esprimere il meglio
in termini di qualità e ricerca, pianificando strategie
vincenti per l’espansione del business all’estero.

Founded in 1991 and operating from its offices
in Pordenone, Padua and Moscow, FINEST takes
an active part in promoting the international projects
of firms based in north-east Italy. FINEST is committed
to the task of generating economic value within an area
in which it has very strong roots. It provides support
to local firms with a marked exporting vocation, that
are oriented toward innovation, and that have shown
themselves to be key players in terms of quality
and research. As a partner that plans winning strategies
for business expansion abroad, FINEST provides
increasingly comprehensive and efficacious assistance
while acting as a joint investor and as a provider of
targeted consultancy and access to institutional support.

Friulia, finanziaria della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia,
è inoltre partecipata da Veneto Sviluppo, finanziaria della
Regione Veneto, dalla Regione Veneto stessa, da Simest,
dalla Provincia Autonoma di Trento e da istituti bancari
privati. Lavora in stretta collaborazione con il sistema
finanziario italiano ed internazionale. Coordina lo Sprint
FVG, Sportello Unico per l’internazionalizzazione delle
imprese del Friuli Venezia Giulia, che ha sede presso
i suoi uffici di Pordenone. È partner promotore del
Progetto “Bridge To Russia” rete di un gruppo
di specialisti per i servizi di internazionalizzazione,
che hanno deciso di mettere a fattore comune
le competenze acquisite in decenni di attività
nel Paese, per offrire un sostegno completo
alle imprese italiane interessate a espandere
il proprio business in Russia e nei Paesi limitrofi.

ABROAD
With more than twenty years of experience behind it,
FINEST provides assistance to firms so that they can develop
successfully within foreign marketplaces and transform the
dynamics of globalization into new openings. The facts and
figures speak for themselves - more than 500 international
operations involving significant funding to back up investments
in the local economic system. FINEST belongs to the
Friulia Group (the financial institution of the regional authority
Region Friuli Venezia Giulia). Furthermore, Veneto Sviluppo
(the financial institution of the regional authority, Region
Veneto), the Regione Veneto itself, SIMEST, the Provincia
Autonoma di Trento (provincial authority) and private banking
institutions are all FINEST shareholders.
FINEST closely collaborates with the Italian and international
financial system. It coordinates Sprint FVG, the “one-stop shop”
for internationalisation of firms based in the Friuli Venezia
Giulia region. The head office of Sprint FVG is hosted
at FINEST’s Pordenone premises.
FINEST is a partner-promoter of the “Bridge To Russia” project,
a network made up of a group of internationalisation services
specialists who have pooled the expertise acquired over
decades within Italy in order to provide all-round support
to Italian firms that wish to expand their business activities
in Russia and neighbouring countries.

FINEST’s outreach takes in the Friuli Venezia Giulia,
Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige regions of Italy regions considered a model of virtuous expansion.
This outreach is projected toward greater and greater
internationalisation (part of a process that currently
sees the involvement of as many as 44 countries).
FINEST boasts a long track record of activities
in central and eastern Europe, the Balkans, Russia,
the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Caucasian
states of central Asia, and the Baltic republics.
It has recently broadened out its reach to include
the countries of the Mediterranean.

FINEST partecipa fino al 49% del capitale sociale
di imprese estere realizzate in partnership con imprese
del Nord-Est italiano, per un periodo massimo di 8 anni.
Attraverso la partecipazione si dimostra capace di andare ben
oltre il ruolo di erogatore di risorse finanziarie, diventando
a tutti gli effetti partner dell’imprenditore, condividendone
business plan, investimento e rischio d’impresa.
EQUITY-PARTNER CORPORATE SHAREHOLDINGS
For periods of up to 8 years, maximum, FINEST holds up to 49%
of the shares of foreign firms operating under partnership agreements
with firms based in north-east Italy.
As a shareholder, however, FINEST provides much more than just
financial resources. It becomes a full partner for entrepreneurs, for joint
assessments of business plans, of investments
and of the business risks.

north-east Italy for the purposes of investment projects and international
operations of all kinds. It provides assistance at all project stages.

experience with other bodies, both domestic and international.
STRUMENTI DI FINANZA AGEVOLATA VANTAGGIOSI E DIVERSIFICATI
La partecipazione di FINEST nel progetto estero consente alle imprese
del Nord-Est di ottenere strumenti di finanza agevolata previsti
per iniziative internazionali, come ad esempio quelli offerti
dalla Legge 100/90 per i Paesi extra UE, che prevede un rimborso
parziale a fondo perduto degli interessi sul finanziamento
concesso dal sistema bancario italiano per la sottoscrizione
del capitale sociale della società estera. FINEST inoltre è gestore,
per conto del Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico Italiano, di un fondo
destinato all’area balcanica, che facilita gli investimenti in Albania,
Bosnia-Erzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia e Montenegro. Offre inoltre
l’accesso ai fondi di Venture Capital per investimenti in altri Paesi esteri.
BENEFICIAL, DIVERSIFIED SUBSIDISED LOAN INSTRUMENTS
Thanks to FINEST’s involvement in foreign projects, firms based
in north-east Italy are in a position to obtain subsidised loan instruments
that are provided in order to further international dealings.
These instruments include the facilitations set forth in Legge (law) 100/90
for non-EU countries, entailing partial reimbursement - in the form of a
straight grant − of interest on loans provided by the Italian banking system
for the purposes of share capital subscription in foreign firms. On behalf
of Italy’s Ministry of Economic Development, FINEST also manages a fund
for the Balkan area that facilitates investments in Albania, Macedonia,
Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. It also provides access
to venture capital funds for investments in other foreign countries.
