Fondata negli anni Sessanta da Giuseppe Tagliapietra, STV

The STV SERRATURE company, established in the 1960’s by
Giuseppe Tagliapietra, continues to grow thanks to the dedication and enthusiasm of his three sons. A family which, together
with the close collaborations of a dedicated working team, aspires towards ever-new horizons, following the company’s most
important target the complete customer satisfaction. Quality of

METALCROMO è un’azienda leader nella pressofusione a camera calda della zama (chiamata anche
zamac o zamak) e nei rivestimenti galvanici. Presente da più di quarant’anni sul mercato nazionale ed
internazionale, è un riferimento per tutte quelle aziende che ricercano affidabilità, professionalità e qualità
nel tempo. METALCROMO affianca il cliente dallo studio del progetto fino alla realizzazione del prodotto
finito, accompagnandolo dal progetto del componente (CODESIGN) fino allo studio e realizzazione delle
attrezzature necessarie alla produzione e consegna del prodotto finito. L’elevata esperienza e motivazione
del personale maturata negli anni permettono di ottimizzare i risultati in termini di costi e produzione, e di
essere un’azienda competitiva in tutti i settori merceologici. L’azienda nasce a Valdagno alla fine degli anni
’60 per iniziativa di Giuseppe Tagliapietra che, già rivenditore di ferramenta e quindi ben a conoscenza
delle esigenze dell’utente finale, avvia la produzione di articoli decorativi e tecnici in zama. La produzione
che inizialmente si limita alla pressocolata, in breve tempo si estende alla finitura dei prodotti mediante
trattamenti galvanici con ottimi risultati quanto a qualità, funzionalità e durevolezza del prodotto oltre che ad
un’apprezzata estetica. Il naturale ricambio generazionale porta in seguito alla guida dell’azienda i tre figli
del fondatore, i quali, spinti dalla stessa passione ed ingegnosità del padre, alla METALCROMO affiancano
la STV SERRATURE, un’azienda collegata la cui specifica attività è la produzione di serrature, maniglie
ed accessori per porte. Il know-how maturato, risultato di decenni di esperienza, e le risorse sia tecniche
che umane, uniti all’impiego di forti investimenti, contribuiscono ogni giorno ad accrescere il valore di
un’azienda italiana che ha saputo espandere il proprio successo in diversi settori sia in Italia che nel resto
del mondo.
TECNOLOGIE DI LAVORAZIONE STANDARD / SOTTO-VUOTO
METALCROMO dispone di un parco presse totalmente automatizzato di ultima generazione per la
pressocolata in camera calda della zama (anche con l’ausilio della tecnologia SOTTO-VUOTO dove
richiesto), di isole robotizzate per l’estrazione e l’eventuale separazione automatica e finitura dei pezzi.

Qualità riconosciuta all’azienda è la possibilità di utilizzare qualsiasi stampo su tutte le unità automatiche
intercambiabili, ottimizzando il risultato per il cliente in termini di costi e puntualità nelle tempistiche di
consegna. Con le più moderne tecnologie, METALCROMO è in grado di realizzare pezzi anche di sottilissimi
spessori, da un peso minimo di 3 gr ad un massimo di 2500 gr, e contemporaneamente di curare particolari
di alta precisione, senza problemi di microporosità, con tolleranze ristrette sia per piccole che per grandi
serie. All’interno dell’azienda opera un’isola di produzione adibita al collaudo immediato delle nuove
attrezzature, alla produzione di piccole serie ed alla realizzazione dei prototipi. Lavorazioni aggiuntive sui
pezzi, quali lavorazioni meccaniche, smerigliature e lucidature vengono effettuate con l’impiego di robot,
oppure manualmente da personale altamente specializzato che garantisce uno standard qualitativo elevato.
RICERCA, PROGETTAZIONE E REALIZZO
METALCROMO mette a disposizione del cliente tutta l’esperienza e know-how maturati, per offrire al cliente
le migliori soluzioni tecniche ed economiche. Realizzato il CODESIGN del particolare, METALCROMO cura
lo studio, la progettazione e lo sviluppo degli stampi e delle attrezzature necessarie per ricavare il prodotto
desiderato dal cliente. Il nostro ufficio tecnico, mediante un’attenta e preventiva analisi di fattibilità, alla
possibilità di realizzare analisi strutturali FEM e con l’impiego di software per simulare il riempimento degli
stampi è in grado di individuare e risolvere eventuali problemi che si potrebbero riscontrare nei particolari
una volta messi in produzione. METALCROMO offre inoltre la propria esperienza e consulenza anche su
stampi già esistenti.

METALCROMO da sempre vanta una spiccata sensibilità al rispetto dell’ambiente. Gli studi sul
miglioramento dei processi produttivi in materia ambientale sono un fiore all’occhiello per uno sviluppo
aziendale responsabile, sia in termini sociali che di eco-sostenibilità. Tra i primi sostenitori dell’associazione
ASSOGALVANICA, METALCROMO effettua continui studi e ricerche in materia ambientale. Ha sostenuto il
progetto di riciclabilità dei materiali, per il quale ha ottenuto il marchio “infinitely recyclable”.
CERTIFICAZIONE
Il conferimento di importanti riconoscimenti (come il certificato di qualità UNI EN ISO 9001 per la
progettazione e produzione di maniglie, accessori per porte e finestre ed accessori tecnici) testimonia la
passione e l’impegno profuso in questi anni per la continua ricerca e sviluppo di nuove soluzioni e di nuovi
prodotti. Per ogni particolare vengono poste in essere azioni di collaudo concordate con il cliente.
SODDISFAZIONE DEL CLIENTE
La totale soddisfazione del cliente è per METALCROMO un obiettivo di primaria importanza. La qualità
innovativa della produzione viene supportata da una logistica razionale, precisa ed efficiente: l’ampio
magazzino per lo stoccaggio del materiale è gestito da personale preparato per evadere in tempi rapidissimi
qualsiasi tipo di commessa. Tutte le attrezzature fornite dai clienti vengono custodite in un ambiente idoneo
alla loro corretta conservazione. Inoltre ogni cliente può richiedere un imballo personalizzato o un metodo
di approvvigionamento mirato (anche Kanban) sulla base delle proprie specifiche esigenze. Ogni nuovo
particolare rappresenta per METALCROMO una sfida da superare per ottenere la totale soddisfazione

FINITURE E DESIGN
Il design, concepito come connubio tra funzionalità ed estetica, viene curato nell’insieme e nei singoli

oltre che funzionale. I rivestimenti galvanici sono all’avanguardia, in sintonia con le ultime novità e tendenze
del mondo dell’arredamento e del design. Professionalità, esperienza e flessibilità del personale unite ad
attrezzature tecnologiche di prim’ordine, consentono di proporre ad ogni cliente soluzioni personalizzate
ed in linea con le proprie esigenze. METALCROMO garantisce la resistenza dei rivestimenti galvanici grazie
ai costanti controlli del processo produttivo ed alle prove di resistenza alla corrosione in nebbia salina. Le
finiture galvaniche disponibili sono le seguenti: nichelatura lucida e satinata, cromatura lucida e satinata,
ottonatura lucida e satinata, bronzatura, zincatura bianca, tropicalizzata e nera. Trattamenti di verniciatura
a polveri o cataforesi.

METALCROMO is a leading company for the hot chamber die casting of zamak and galvanic coating.
It has been present for over forty years on the national and international market and is a reference
for companies that seek reliability, professionalism and long lasting quality. METALCROMO assists
the customer from the study of the design up to the completion of the finished product. The high
professionalism and skill gained over the years, allows the company to be competitive and to optimize
results in terms of costs and production. METALCROMO supports the customer from the design
of the component (CODESIGN) up to the study and realization of the equipment needed for the
production and delivery of the finished product. The high level of experience and motivation of the staff,
gained over the years, allows results to be optimized in terms of costs and production, guaranteeing
METALCROMO to be a competitive company in all product sectors. The company was founded in
Valdagno at the end of the 60s by Giuseppe Tagliapietra, who already a hardware seller and therefore
well aware of the end user’s needs, started the production of decorative and technical articles made
of zamak. The production, which was initially limited to die casting, soon expanded to the finish of
products through galvanic treatments with excellent results in quality, functionality and durability,
in addition to appreciable aesthetics. The natural generational renewal subsequently brought the
founder’s three children to manage the company, and being driven by the same passion and ingenuity
of their father, they flanked METALCROMO with STV SERRATURE, a related company whose specific
business is the production of locks, handles and accessories for doors. The acquired know-how, the
result of decades of experience, and both the technical and human resources, combined with good
investments, contribute every day in increasing the value of an Italian company that has been able to
expand its success in several sectors, both in Italy and the rest of the world. PROCESSING TECNOLOGIES STANDARD / UNDER VACUUM
METALCROMO has a state of the art, totally automatic, machine range for hot chamber die casting
with zamak (also with the aid of VACUUM technology, where requested), of robotic islands for the
extraction and any automatic separation and finishing of the pieces. Machine range: N°1 80-ton Colosio
press, N°2 140-ton Colosio press, N°3 140-ton GREEN LINE Colosio presses, N°1 140-ton GREEN
LINE ELECTRIC Colosio press (2014), N°1 250-ton GREEN LINE Colosio press (2014), N°4 Kawasaki
robot, N°18 Roto separators, N°1 Tumble belt blasting machine, N°3 Vibratory tumblers. A recognized
quality of the company is the possibility to use any mould on all of the interchangeable automatic units,
optimizing the result for the customer in terms of cost and punctuality in delivery times. With the latest
technology, METALCROMO is able to manufacture even very thin pieces, from a minimum weight of
3 grams to a maximum of 2500 grams. At the same time, it takes care of high precision parts, without
any micro porosity issues, with very tight tolerances both for small and large series. Inside the factory a
production island is equipped to immediately test new equipment, to produce small series and make
prototypes Additional processing on pieces, such as machining, grinding and buffing are carried out by
using robots or manually be highly qualified staff, guaranteeing high quality standard.
RESEARCH, DESIGN & REALIZATION
METALCROMO makes all the acquired know-how and experience available to the customer, so that
together, they can study the best solutions from a technical and economical point of view. Once the
CODESIGN of the part is realized, METALCROMO takes care of the study, design and development
of the moulds and equipment that are needed to make the customer’s desired product. Our technical
office, through careful prior feasibility analysis, the possibility to make FEM structural analysis and by
using software to simulate filling the moulds, is able to identify and solve any problems that may be
encountered in the parts once they go into production. METALCROMO also offers its own experience
on advice on already existing moulds.
ENVIRONMENT
METALCROMO has always boasted a pronounced sensitivity toward being environmental friendly.
Studies on the improvement of production processes on the environmental matter are a flagship for
a responsible company development, both in social and eco-sustainability terms. Among the first
supporters of the ASSOGALVANICA association, METALCROMO carries out ongoing studies and
research on environmental matters. It supported the material recyclability project, for which it was
awarded the “infinitely recyclable” brand.
CERTIFICATION
The conferment of important recognition (such as the UNI EN ISO 9001 quality certificate for the design
and production of handles, accessories for doors and windows and technical accessories) demonstrates
the passion and commitment in recent years to the continuous research and development of new
solutions and products. Testing is carried out on each part with the customer’s consent.T
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Total customer satisfaction is the primary goal of importance to METALCROMO. The innovative quality
of the production is supported by rational, precise and efficient logistics: the large warehouse to store
materials managed by trained staff, to rapidly handle any type of order. All equipment supplied by the
customers is kept in a place that is suitable for their correct preservation. In addition, each customer
may request customized packaging or a targeted procurement method (even Kanban) based on their
specific requirements.

FINISHES & DESIGN
The design, conceived as a combination of functionality and aesthetics, is treated as a whole and
in each detail, in order to obtain top level finishes, ensuring the customer both excellent aesthetic
and functional quality. The galvanic coatings are innovative, in line with the latest novelties and
trends in the world of home furnishings and design. The professionalism, experience and flexibility
of the staff, combined with the first-class technical equipment allow each customer to be offered
customized solutions, in line with their requirements. METALCROMO guarantees the resistance of
galvanic coatings, thanks to constantly monitoring the production process and salt spray corrosion
resistance tests. The available galvanic finishes are as follows: polished and satin nickel, polished and
satin chrome, polished and satin brass, bronze, white, tropical and black galvanizing and treatments
of powder or cataphoresis painting.
