thanol kamine haben viele vorteile gegenüber
herkömmlichen feuerstellen. sie brauchen wenig
platz und sind günstig in der anschaffung. doch vor
allem muss der raum, in dem sie installiert werden,
keinen schornsteinanschluss besitzen. aber da sich
dekorative kamine somit von normalen kaminöfen
unterscheiden, kann man als laie meist nicht sagen,
ob alle grundlagen für eine sichere nutzung erfüllt
sind.
genau dafür entwickelte der arbeitskreis »DEKORATIVE FEUERSTÄTTEN & ETHANOL KAMINE«, dem
RADIUS DESIGN angehört, die »DIN NORM 4734«.
sie legt fest, welche voraussetzungen ein kamin erfüllen muss, um als sicher zu gelten und damit eine
zertifizierung zu erhalten. in einer eingehenden prüfung durch ein von din certco anerkanntes prüflaboratorium und anschließender neutraler bewertung
wird nicht nur auf die konstruktionsweise geachtet,
sondern auch extremfälle mit berücksichtigt.
besonders wichtig für eine erfolgreiche prüfung
sind standsicherheit, auslaufschutz, zuverlässigkeit der brennstoffbehälter, eine sichere zündvorrichtung, die menge an verbranntem ethanol und
die temperatur von boden und umgebung. darüber
hinaus wird auch auf eine leicht verständliche bedienungsanleitung wert gelegt, um eine fehlerhafte
bedienung von bioethanolkaminen von vorne herein
zu vermeiden. außerdem wird auf eine eindeutige
kennzeichnung auf dem gerät geachtet.
die patentierte brennkammer, »SAFE STONEFIRE« (Patent-Nr. 10 2007 038 995), die der
»DIN NORM 4734« entspricht, wird höchsten sicherheitsansprüchen gerecht. sie wird mit einem
keramikschwamm betrieben, der einer gleichmäßigen verbrennung dient, die temperatur in der
brennkammer sehr gering hält und verpuffungen
verhindert.

much room and are cheaper to buy. the main thing
though is that the room in which they‘re going to
be installed doesn‘t need to have a chimney, although decorative fireplaces differ from normal tiled
stoves and as a layman it is often difficult to say
whether all the conditions are met for safe use.
the „DECORATIVE & ETHANOL FIREPLACES“ working
party, that is part of RADIUS DESIGN, developed the
„DIN STANDARD 4734“ for precisely this reason. it
lays down which pre-requirements a fireplace must
meet to be considered as safe and thus receive certification. not only is the method of construction
considered but extreme cases are also taken into account in an extensive examination by a DIN CERTCO
recognised testing laboratory and then by impartial
assessment.
what‘s particularly important for successful inspection is stability, protection against leakage, the fuel
container‘s reliability, a safe ignition device, the
amount of ethanol burnt and the floor and ambient temperature. great importance is also placed on
easy to understand instructions to minimise the risk
of bioethanol fireplaces being used incorrectly in
the first place. clear labelling of the device is also
considered.

DIN 4734«. elle détermine les conditions préalables
que doit remplir une cheminée afin d’être considérée comme sécurisée et d’obtenir ainsi une certification. lors d’un contrôle détaillé effectué par un
laboratoire de contrôle reconnu par DIN CERTCO puis
d’une évaluation neutre, ce n’est pas uniquement
la construction qui est prise en considération, mais
également les cas extrêmes.
pour un contrôle réussi, la stabilité, la protection anti-écoulement, la fiabilité des réservoirs de
combustibles, un dispositif d’allumage sécurisé, la
quantité d’éthanol brûlé et la température du sol et
des environs sont particulièrement importants. en
outre, il est accordé beaucoup d’importance à un
manuel d’utilisation très compréhensible afin de minimiser dès le début une utilisation incorrecte des
cheminées au bioéthanol. par ailleurs, il est important que l’appareil porte un marquage précis.

4734«, che determina quali presupposti debbano essere rispettati da un caminetto per essere considerato sicuro e ricevere quindi una certificazione. nella
verifica approfondita, eseguita da un laboratorio di
prova accreditato dalla din certco, e nella seguente
valutazione imparziale non si tiene conto soltanto
della struttura, ma anche dei casi estremi.

per l‘uso, che consente di ridurre fin da subito al
minimo gli errori nell‘impiego dei caminetti a bioetanolo. infine si fa attenzione a un contrassegno
univoco sull‘apparecchio.
con un apparecchio testato secondo la »NORMA
DIN 4734« potrete avere la sicurezza che un impiego corretto, rispondente alle indicazioni delle
istruzioni per l‘uso, risulti in un funzionamento
ottimale. scegliete quindi la qualità testata DIN,

en cuenta la claridad del etiquetado en el aparato.
si ha comprado un aparato comprobado según la
»NORMA DIN 4734« podrá estar seguro de que
si lo manipula según se describe en el manual
de instrucciones funcionará de manera óptima.

the large »high flame«. it is easy to transport
and with its height of 105/108.5 cm flexible in use.
