THURSDAY June 16th, 2011
3:00-5:00 p.m.: arrival and check in at Merano located at l’Azienda di Soggiorno di Merano –
Corso Libertà 45, vintage car exposition to be held in front of Terme (Thermal Bath) in Merano
(entrance on Ortwein Road).
 The attendees with vintage cars will receive a plate to put on the car. A raffle will be held
for them with the prize of a free weekend, with breakfast for two at a hotel in Merano.
6:30 p.m.: A meeting for all attendees at the Hotel Terme in Merano. Vintage cars will depart for
the Trauttmansdorff. Garden –
For the rest of the attendees a shuttle bus will be available.
Welcoming dinner will be held in the evening at Schlossgarten Restaurant inside the garden
Friday June 17th, 2011
Vintage Car Tour
9:00 a.m.: Departure from in front of Hotel Terme Merano (entrance on Ortwein Road).
Route: Passiria Valley, Giovo Pass (2.049 m ) stop for a coffee break, continuing to Ridanna
Valley– Mine’s museum “Schneebert; lunch at “Knappenstube” Restaurant, Pennes Pass (2.215 m)
a photo stop, Sarentino Valley, Bolzano, Merano. Total km 175.
Dolomite’s tour by bus
8:30 a.m.: Departure from Piave Road in front of Thermal Bath in Merano
Route: Bolzano, Ega Valley, Carezza Lake (1.520 m) – picture stop, Costalunga Pass (1.745m),
Fassa Valley, lunch, Canazei, Pordoi Pass (2.239 m) – Marmolada view, coffee break, Arabba,
Campolongo Pass (1.875 m), Corvara, Gardena Pass (2.121 m), Ortisei, Castelrotto, Bolzano,
Merano.
Return to all hotels is expected around 6:00 p.m. Free Evening.

Vintage car’s Tour
9:00 a.m: Departure from in front of Hotel Terme Merano (entrance on Ortwein Road).
Lana, Tesimo, Prussiano, by Katzenzungen Castle visit the biggest and almost surely oldest
grapevine of the world. Tastino of Versoaln Wine, - Nalles, (wine Rd) Andriano, San Paolo,
Appiano, Caldaro, Caldano Lake – lunch with the bus group at the “Gretl am See” Restaurant, –
Terlano, Meltina, Avelengo, Merano. Total km 115.
Dolomite’s tour by bus
9:00 a.m. Departure from Piave Road in front of Thermal Bath in Merano
Avelengo, Meltina – Visit to the highest sparkling white wine winery in Europe.
“ARUNDA/VIVALDI” with wine tasting. Visit the Tyrol smoked ham’s (Speck) maker with tasting
of “Tschöggelberger Speck” - Terlano, (Strada del Vino) Appiano, Caldaro, Caldano Lake - lunch
with the Vintages car group at the “Gretl am See” Restaurant – Terlano, Lana, Cermes, Merano.
Return to all hotels is expected around 5 p. m.

7:00 p.m : GALA Evening with the band “Die Vaiolets” at the Hotel Terme in
Merano.

Every vintage car has to have at least an IPA member on board.
Vintage car must comply with the European Traffic Code and must obey the Italian Traffic
Code
The Organization does not take any responsibility for any damage that occurs at anytime
during the program/tour or after said program.
The IPA Region 4 waives all responsibility in the case of any accidents and traffic code
violations.
The IPA Region 4 reserves the right to make changes to this event.

 COST FOR THE ENTIRE PROGRAM:
- 200.00 Euro per person.
- COST INCLUDES: all lunches, Thursday Dinner (including ¼ litre of wine, water and coffee)
as well as the gala dinner on Saturday.
- Entrances and visits listed in the program.
- Tour by bus.
- Not included: Hotel prices, Dinner on Friday, beverages at meals (except those at the Thursday
night dinner) , tips arel not included.
- Those arriving in their own bus (40 people or more) and using their own bus for the tour will
receive a discount of Euro 20.00 per person.
This event will only be held if we can get a minimum of 120 people.
Maximum number of attendees: 180.
Deadline for reservations is March 31st , 2011. A deposit of € 100.00 per person is required with a
bank draft. Balance is payable upon arrival at the event to the IPA 4 Regional Committee.
