Editorial
The latest orthodontic techniques have challenged our knowledge in orthodontics. In the XXI century, orthodontics will integrate the technique
of 3D patient data which will lead to a new level of the profession’s standards
for care and treatment.
Once again, SIDO and SFODF have decided to combine their spring sessions
in order to participate to this orthodontic evolution. As in Venice, our two
societies are joined by the FEO, the MOIP Project Network, the Belgian
Orthodontic Society, SOBOR-BEVOR, the SFOL, the SMODMF, the SESW.
All international speakers of this «Euromed Ortho 2012» congress have been
asked to respond to this question: «3D orthodontics: pushing back the limits»
and to expose their vision for the future in orthodontics.
Today, all our thanks go to our keynote speakers and to those are actively
involved in the organization of this congress. Many of us have dreamed
of a regular Euro-Mediterranean congress, we hope it will meet your
expectations and that the energy spent by a few will allow you to perpetuate
this project to all.
