Geographies Revolutions and Reforms Rome, June 7-10 2017 Call for sessions The 32nd Congress of Italian geography, promoted by the Association of Italian geographers, will take place in Rome (Italy), 7-10 June 2017. The title of the congress refers to the anniversaries of the Luteran Reform and of the October Revolution. Scholars are invited to present session proposals regarding any theme of relevance for geography and related disciplines, with a particular focus on lines of enquiry that are of the most interest for Italian geography. Transnational, transdisciplinary and unconventional sessions are particularly welcome. Session proposals should include a title, key words and a short description, and can be submitted by October 15th 2016 to [email protected] using this form (http://goo.gl/6bpX1I). Sessions can be presented in Italian, English, French or Spanish and, unless otherwise indicated, will lead to the publication of an open call for abstracts. Convenors can indicate any eventual invited speaker, chair or discussant in the proposal. Scholars can act as organizer of one session only. Sessions will be 1hourand45minutes, allowing the presentation of 4-6 papers and, if needed, replicated in more than one slot. Papers presented during the conference will be published by the Association of Italian geographers. Practical information The Congress will take place at the ScuoladiLettereFilosofiaLingueof the Universitàdi Roma Tre (Address: Via Ostiense 234-236, Rome), from the morning of June 7th to the afternoon of June 9th 2017. On the morning of the 10th of June, several fieldtrips will take place. In the evening of June 8th, the celebration of the 150thanniversary of the foundation of the Italian geographical society will take place in Villa Celimontana (Rome).
