Design and teach three courses in Italian Language and Culture up to the Advanced Low level on the
ACTFL Guidelines of Proficiency
designed the entire track, created syllabi and materials
refined the learning goals and the materials to meet the new focus on (inter)cultural literacy
and to meet some of the need expressed by students in their course evaluations through the

Facilitate extra curricular activities to create chances to practice the language, such as the

EDUCATION
After high school I enrolled in the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Bologna, in the major
‘Italianistica’. In my fourth year I went on exchange to the University of Leiden (in The Netherlands)
and decided to finish my study in that country. I enrolled in the major ‘Italian Language and
Literature’ of the Utrecht University, with credits for almost two years of course work. The program
was a four-year program, comprehensive of the current Dutch Bachelor and Master.
