LACPRINT A FREDDO
series 3030
technical information
Water-based textile printing ink, very elastic and opaque. Suitable for
printing on elastic fabrics, cotton, triacetate, polyester, wool etc. Lacprint
a freddo cures achieving good fastness at room temperature. The
fastness can be improved adding 4% of Lacprint a freddo catalyst 99
(recommended). Formulated comply with EN 71/3 ‘88. Always test
before using in production.
PREPARATION
Available 14 ready to use colours. Also available Lacprint a freddo
transparent (clear) and Lacprint a Freddo opaque extender suited to
prepare semi-opaque colours adding Lacprint pigments (5% max). For
metal colours use Lacprint clear for metal powder 301903 (see
technical information). If necessary add 4% of Lacprint a Freddo Catalyst
and mix thoroughly. The product mixed with Catalyst has a pot-life of
about 36 hours, depending on room conditions. If necessary dilute with
water (5% max)
Retarder: Retarder 03 (5% max)
Thickener: Thickener 516 while mixing

DRYING
The ink dries in 1 our
CURING
The ink cures at room temperature in 72-96 hours. Using Lacprint a
freddo catalyst 99 this time will be reduced to 48-72 hours, depending
on room temperature
POT LIFE
The mixture with Lacprint a freddo catalyst 99 has a pot life of about 36
hours
WASH-UP
Screens and equipment can be washed with water
