are a feature of marble that confirms the authenticity of the product. Marble, granite and stone tend to absorb liquids through
their micro-pores that then gradually evaporate.
This specific feature exposes marble to the risk of absorbing substances that could stain it permanently (e.g. varnishes, cosmetics,
perfumes, saline solutions for contact lenses).
Constant and accurate maintenance, without an excessive use of unsuitable soaps and detergents, preserves the shine of marble.
It is advisable to protect the surface by using stain and water-repellent products.

Imitation marble is composed of granules, marble powder, cement and 5 – 8 % polyester resins, for the most part calcium
carbonate.
Imitation marble has features that are similar to those of natural marble which is why it requires constant maintenance.
To clean these tops it is advisable to use water and neutral detergents.
Avoid direct contact of imitation marble tops with cosmetics and aggressive products used to clean washbasins because these c
ould cause dull marks and stains on the surface. Fine-grain marble-based products with an even shade such as BIANCO POLARE
and ORIONE are particularly delicate and even limescale can stain them.

QUARTZ RESIN: SAND, GEO, STARLIGHT, SPAZZOLATO, VEINED, SPACCO
The quartz technical marbles are formed by a mixture of quartz with a maximum of 5% of acrylic
resins. The tops made in this material are homogeneous, compact and particularly resistant to
impacts. The tops are waterproof, resistant to abrasion, attack of chemical agents and
temperature changes. It is a very hygienic product that has the characteristic of being anti-static
(does not attract dust). Thanks to the features listed above they are tops of easy maintenance. To
clean, simply use a damp cloth and a mild detergent.

resistant to liquids. To make it look brand new and to restore its original shine simply wipe it with a damp cloth as soon as spills

happens with natural stone tops that are notoriously delicate: In fact, Peda is non-porous which makes it the perfect, hygienic

HPL 0,8 cm Thick - Price range H1 and H2
Print HPL is very thick (≥ 2 mm) high pressure laminate (HPL) with a decorative surface that complies with the EN 438 and
ISO 4586 standards. It is available in various thicknesses, colours, finishes and one or both sides can have a decorative surface.
It is made of layers of cellulose fibre impregnated with phenolic resins on the inside and has one or two layers of cellulose fibre
impregnated with heat-hardening resins on the outside.
The production process consists in a combination of heat (150° C) and high pressure (9 MPa) in special multiple-daylight presses
where the polycondensation of the resins occurs. Standard and F1 flame-retardant versions are available; in the latter version the
phenolic resins and/or the decorative paper are treated with flame-retardant substances.

We highly recommend the use of float glass.
The green hue of float glass does not modify the shade of these colours, as, on the other hand, is the case for all the other 35 fan
deck colours: this means that a top in Verde Salvia float glass and a top in Verde Salvia extra-clear glass will be practically identical
but the former is more convenient for the purchaser because float glass costs less than extra-clear glass.
Nevertheless, this is just a suggestion and the above-mentioned colours are available in extra-clear glass for those who prefer it.

Beautiful to look at. Its flowing shapes and seamless charm offer a unique beauty made of continuous surfaces.
Easy to clean. In most cases the surfaces can be cleaned and restored to their original beauty by using a soft cloth and water.
Stubborn stains can be removed using a slightly abrasive detergent and an abrasive pad. Acrylic resin is suitable for contact with
food stuffs.
Durable. The colour remains unaltered by natural and artificial light, it is very stain, scratch and mildew resistant. Due to the fact
that it is compact and non porous throughout its thickness, it naturally repels external agents which makes it easy to clean.
Repairable. This material is very compact and even throughout; even quite serious damage such as chipping due to sharp and
heavy objects falling accidentally onto it can be easily repaired by means of a lightly abrasive action followed – in the most
serious cases – by surface polishing. Even possible deeper or more extensive damage due to improper use of the material can be
repaired on-site by qualified personnel without having to replace the whole top.
Non toxic. When exposed to normal temperatures it does not produce vapours. Only carbon oxides are produced if it is burned
and the smoke does not contain toxic gases. It can be disposed of with household waste.

This innovative material is the first eco-mortar purposely designed for the furniture industry. It is applied completely by hand and
is tested, approved and certified. It can be used on any surface, i.e. wood, marble, glass etc. and is available in many colour
options.
The result is a very elegant and refined product that is velvety to the touch and looks like moon rock. It is perfect for creating
fascinating atmospheres and its finish sets off the other furniture in the room.
ECOLOGICAL
All the components used in the production cycle are water-based, do not contain NMP (n-methyl pyrrolidone) and perfectly
satisfy the limits set by the European laws for as much as regards VOC (volatile organic compounds).
BIOCOMPATIBLE
All the products used in the production cycle are totally harmless for human beings and for the environment as well as being
completely non-toxic and complying
with the CEE 89/106 directive dated 21/12/1988 implemented in Italy by the Presidential Decree 246 dated 21/04/1993.
All the products are registed by the Italian National Health Institute (ISS).
All the products respect the standards in force regarding slipperiness and inflammability according to the SSOG, LFIS sud and
Polytechnical University of Turin laboratory tests.
The following tests have been carried out by the Italian CATAS research and development centre and test laboratories:
- Surface resistance to cold liquids EN 12720:2009 awarded class F according to UNI 10944
- Surface resistance to dry heat EN 12722:2009 awarded class C according to UNI 10944
- Surface resistance to wet heat EN 12721:2009 awarded class A according to UNI 10944.
