Born in Hanover, Germany. Studied opera at the Hochschule fuer Musik und
Theater Hannover for 4 years before winning a Scholarship from the German
government (DAAD) to study a two year Postgraduate course at the Royal
Academy of Music, London leading to the gaining of a Postgraduate Recital
Diploma.
Subsequently gained Scholarships to study Lied at the Banff Centre for the
Arts,Banff, Canada and later to study 20th century opera at the Banff Centre for
the Arts, Canada.
