The Chatellerault Motor Museum is situated
in the heart of the historical heritage site of
the former weapon’s factory.
An geschichtsträchtigem Orte, im Herzen der
ehemaligen Waffenmanufaktur, befindet sich
das Automobil- und Zweirad-Museum (Musée
Auto-Moto-Vélo) von Châtellerault. Auf über
3000 m2 entdecken Sie hier mehr als 200 Exponate.
Merkwürdige Fahrzeuge werden hier in ihrem
historischen Kontext präsentiert.
Over an area of more than 3 000 m2, you can
discover nearly 200 vehicles belonging to our
collective memory. Manufactured between
1818 and today, they are presented in their
historical context. The museum is the first
French motor museum to devote an area to
electric cars. During your visit, don’t miss
the mythical Bugattis, the popular 4 CV,
the exceptional collection of two-wheel
vehicles (the "grand bi" velocipede, FN
motorbikes, and scooters : Lambretta,
Pagnon prototype) amongst many other
attractions.

to 31 December : every day but Mondays and
Tuesdays : 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
From 1 July to 20 September : every day but Tuesdays
10 a.m. – 12 a.m. and 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Closed on January, 1 May and 25 December
Group visits must be reserved in advance.

Full fee : € 5
Reduced fee : € 2,50 (conditions for reduced
rates and free admissions available at the
museum ticket desk)
