10. Assembly Instructions
Warning!
Use the fitting only with non-return valves and the grit filters specified.
Failure to observe can result in an increased bacterial load in drinking water and cause a
health risk or even risk of death.
• Important!
Before installing, flush the pipes in compliance with DIN 1988.
• Connect the fitting only to the original plug-in power supply. Connect the plug-in
power supply only to a socket carrying 230 V/50 Hz.
10.1 Install the fitting (a) on the washbasin (b).

• Do not shorten the connector hoses located at the fitting.

Important!
Observe the range settings when installing on a stainless steel washbasin Chapter 13.
The corner valves (c) must be provided by the customer.
10.2 Insert the grit filter (d) in the corner valve.
10.3 Screw the connector piece (e) together with the non-return valve on to the corner valve.
10.4 Place the connector hose (g) with the seal (f) on to the connector piece.
10.5 Insert the plug-in power supply into the socket.
10.6 Connect the line between the fitting and the power supply.
11. Function
11.1 Allow your hand to approach the sensor.
• Water flows.
11.2 Remove your hand from the sensor.
• Water flow stops automatically after a set flow time.

The range of the sensor and the flow duration can be adjusted with the optional remote
control (FAR Order No. 5179 0000).
Important!
Reflecting surfaces can influence the sensor. There is a risk of having permanent
reflections (see Chapter 13. for range adjustment).
“Auto-flush” function
Important!
When the “Auto flush” function is used, a proper flow of water must be ensured.
• The "Auto-flush" function ensures that forced flushing takes place to exchange the
water in the tap lines after 24 or 72 hours of non-use.
• The “Auto-flush” function can only be switched on with the optional remote control
(FAR Order No. 5179 0000).
• This function is switched off at the factory.
12. Controlling the Temperature

12.1 Set the mixing lever (a) in the desired position.

12.2 Remove the plug (b).
12.3 Use a hollow hexagon wrench (c) to set the required mixing-water temperature.
12.4 Push in the plug.

13. Programmable Function Parameters
The optional remote control FAR Order No. 5179 00 00 offers the following functions:
– Setting the range (3–20 cm)
– Setting the turn-off delay (0–10 s)
– Activating or switching continuous operation for 3.5 min or 11 min.
– Switching off the valve
– Restoring basic settings
– Test mode for simulation without water
– Setting automatic safety switch-off (2–210 s)
– Activating automatic flushing

Important!
Reflecting surfaces can influence the sensor. There is a risk of having permanent
reflections. The range must be reduced for installations on reflecting surfaces of
stainless steel washbasins. If this is not sufficient, an additional base/spacing ring is
available (see Chapter 20.).
14. Maintenance and Servicing
Depending on the quality of the water, the local conditions and the rules and regulations
applicable on site, the fitting must be maintained and serviced at regular intervals.
Perform maintenance on the following components:
• Aerators (see Chapter 15.)
• Filters (see Chapter 16.)
• Non-return valves (see Chapter 17.)
14.1 Push up the cleaning clip (a) in front of the sensor.

The fitting is in sleep mode.
14.2 Use suitable cleaning agents that are not harmful to the fittings in a proper manner and
rinse with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for cleaning.

15.1 Use an open-end spanner to unscrew and replace the aerator (a).

16. Replacing Filters

16.1 Close the corner valves (c).
16.2 Trigger the valve.
16.3 Unscrew the connecting hoses (a) together with the connector pieces from the corner
valves.
16.4 Replace the filters (b).
16.5 Reassemble in the reverse order.

16.6 Remove the solenoid valve cartridge (see Chapter 18.).
16.7 Use a flat nose pliers to pull the filter (d) out.
16.8 Replace the filter.

Important!
Ensure correct installation position. The rib of the filter must not lie on the flow-through
hole.
17. Replacing the Non-return Valve
Warning!
All non-return valves must always be replaced as a group.
Failure to observe can result in an increased bacterial load in drinking water and cause a
health risk or even risk of death.
☞
When a non-return valve is defective, the entire connector piece must be replaced. The
non-return valve is integrated in the connector piece.
17.1 Close the corner valves (c).
17.3 Unscrew the water connector hoses (a) from the connector pieces.

18.4 Pull the housing (b) from the base (c).
18.5 Loosen the screws (d).
18.6 Remove the mounting bracket (e).
18.7 Remove and replace the solenoid valve cartridge (f).

10. Montage
Avertissement !
Ne faire fonctionner la robinetterie qu’avec les clapets de non-retour et les filtres prévus.
Le non-respect de cette consigne peut entraîner la contamination de l’eau potable,
affecter la santé et représenter un risque mortel.
• Important !
Avant le montage, rincer les conduites conformément à la norme DIN 1988.

• Ne pas raccourcir les flexibles de raccordement au niveau de la robinetterie.
• Raccorder uniquement la robinetterie au bloc d’alimentation à fiche d’origine. Le bloc
d’alimentation à fiche doit uniquement être inséré dans une prise 230 V/50 Hz.
10.1 Monter la robinetterie (a) sur le lavabo (b).

Important !
En cas de montage sur un lavabo en inox, observer les instructions du Chapitre 13
relatives au réglage du rayon d’action.
Les soupapes coudées (c) doivent être installées par le client.
10.2 Insérer le filtre (d) dans la soupape coudée.
10.3 Visser la pièce de raccordement (e) avec le clapet de non-retour sur la soupape coudée.
10.4 Placer le flexible de raccordement (g) avec la garniture (f) sur la pièce de raccordement.
10.5 Brancher le bloc d’alimentation à fiche dans la prise.
10.6 Raccorder la conduite entre la robinetterie et le bloc d’alimentation.
11. Fonctionnement
11.1 Approcher la main du capteur.
• L’eau s’écoule.
11.2 Eloigner la main du capteur.
• L’écoulement d’eau s’arrête automatiquement en fonction de la durée d’écoulement
réglée.

Le rayon d’action du capteur et la durée d’écoulement peuvent être réglés avec la
télécommande optionnelle (N° de comm. FAR 5179 0000).
Important !
Les surfaces réfléchissantes peuvent perturber le capteur. Il existe un risque de réflexion
continue. (voir chapitre 13. pour le réglage du rayon d’action).
Fonction « Rinçage automatique »
Attention !
Si la fonction « Rinçage automatique » doit être utilisée, il faut d’abord vérifier que
l’écoulement d’évacuation des eaux est assuré.
• La fonction « Rinçage automatique » assure un rinçage automatique toutes les 24 ou
72 heures de non-utilisation pour remplacer l’eau dans les conduites de dérivation.
• La fonction « Rinçage automatique » peut uniquement être activée à l’aide de la
télécommande en option (N° de comm. FAR 5179 0000).
• Cette fonction est désactivée à l’usine.
12. Sélection de la température
12.1 Amener le levier mitigeur (a) sur la position souhaitée.

12.3 Régler la température souhaitée pour l’eau mélangée à l’aide d’une clé mâle coudée
pour vis à six pans creux (c).
12.4 Enfoncer le bouchon.
13. Paramètres de fonctionnement programmables
La télécommande en option N° de comm. FAR 5179 00 00 offre les fonctions suivantes :
– Régler le rayon d’action (de 3 à 20 cm)
– Régler la durée de marche à vide (de 0 à 10 s)
– Activer ou commuter la marche continue pendant 3,5 min ou 11 min.
– Désactiver la robinetterie
– Rétablir les réglages par défaut
– Mode test pour simulation sans eau
– Régler la désactivation automatique de sécurité (de 2 à 210 s)
– Activer le rinçage automatique

Important !
Les surfaces réfléchissantes peuvent perturber le capteur. Il existe un risque de réflexion
continue. Lors du montage sur des lavabos en inox par exemple, le rayon d’action doit
être réduit. Si cela ne suffit pas, il est possible de se procurer un socle/bague
d’écartement. (voir chapitre 20.)
14. Maintenance et entretien
Contrôler et effectuer la maintenance de la robinetterie à intervalles réguliers, en
fonction de la qualité de l’eau, des conditions de service locales et des dispositions en
vigueur sur place.
La maintenance doit porter sur les composants suivants :
• Embout d’arrosage (voir chapitre 15.)
• Filtres (voir chapitre 16.)
• Clapet de non-retour (voir chapitre 17.)

14.2 Utiliser des produits de nettoyage non corrosifs pour la robinetterie et conformément à

15.1 Dévisser l'embout d'arrosage (a) avec une clé à fourche puis le remplacer.

17. Remplacement des clapets de non-retour

Il faut toujours remplacer tous les clapets de non-retour.
Le non-respect de cette consigne peut entraîner la contamination de l’eau potable,
affecter la santé et représenter un risque mortel.

Lorsqu'un clapet de non-retour est endommagé, la pièce de raccordement complète doit
être remplacée. Le clapet de non-retour est fixé dans la pièce de raccordement.

Avvertenza!
Utilizzare la rubinetteria solo con valvole antiriflusso e i filtri previsti.
La non osservanza di questa regola può causare una proliferazione dei germi nell’acqua
sanitaria con conseguente pericolo per la salute o la vita.
• Importante!
Prima dell’esecuzione del montaggio, spurgare le condutture d’acqua conformemente
alla norma DIN 1988.
• Collegare la rubinetteria unicamente all'alimentatore ad innesto originale. Connettere
l'alimentatore ad innesto solo ad una presa di 230 V/50 Hz.
10.1 Montare la rubinetteria (a) sul lavabo (b).

• Non accorciare i flessibili di raccordo installati sul rubinetto.

In caso di montaggio su un lavabo in acciaio inox consultare il capitolo 13 per la
regolazione della portata.
Le valvole ad angolo (c) devono essere predisposte sul posto.
10.2 Inserire il filtro (d) nella valvola ad angolo.
10.3 Avvitare il raccordo (e) con valvola antiritorno sulla valvola ad angolo.
10.4 Inserire il flessibile di raccordo (g) con la guarnizione (f) sul raccordo.
10.5 Inserire l’alimentatore ad innesto nella presa.
10.6 Collegare il cavo fra rubinetto e alimentatore.
11. Funzionamento
11.1 Avvicinare la mano al sensore.
• L’acqua scorre.
11.2 Allontanare la mano dal sensore.
• L’erogazione d’acqua si arresta automaticamente al termine della durata di flusso
impostata.

La portata ed il funzionamento protratto possono essere impostati con il telecomando
opzionale (n. d'ordine FAR 5179 0000).
Importante!
Superfici riflettenti possono influenzare il funzionamento del sensore. Pericolo di
riflessione permanente (vedi capitolo 13. su regolazione della portata).
Funzione "sciacquone automatico"
Attenzione!
Se si utilizza la funzione “sciacquone automatico”, è necessario assicurarsi che lo
scarico dell’acqua sia funzionante.
• La funzione “sciacquone automatico“ garantisce uno sciacquo forzato dopo 24 o 72
ore di inutilizzo per consentire una sostituzione dell’acqua nelle diramazioni della
tubazione.
• La funzione “sciacquone automatico“ può essere attivata solo con il telecomando
opzionale (n. d’ordine FAR : 5179 0000).
• Questa funzione è disattivata nell’impostazione di fabbrica.

12. Selezione della temperatura

12.1 Mettere la levetta di miscelazione (a) nella posizione desiderata.

12.2 Rimuovere il tappo (b).
12.3 Regolare la temperatura desiderata dell’acqua miscelata con l’ausilio di una brugola (c).
12.4 Riapplicare il tappo esercitando una pressione.
13. Parametri di funzionamento programmabili
Il telecomando opzionale, n. d’ordine 5179 00 00, dispone delle seguenti funzioni:
– impostazione della portata (3–20 cm)
– impostazione del funzionamento protratto (0 – 10 s)
– attivazione, commutazione del flusso continuo per una durata di 3,5 min o 11 min.
– disattivazione della rubinetteria
– ripristino delle impostazioni di base
– modalità test per simulazione senza acqua
– impostazione della disattivazione automatica di sicurezza (2–210 s)
– attivazione dello sciacquo automatico

Importante!
Superfici riflettenti possono influenzare il funzionamento del sensore. Pericolo di
riflessione permanente. In caso di montaggio su lavabi in acciaio inox, è necessario
ridurre la portata. Se ciò non fosse ancora sufficiente, ordinare uno zoccolo/un anello
distanziatore suppementareh (vedi capitolo 20.).
14. Manutenzione e cura
Controllare ed eseguire la manutenzione della rubinetteria ad intervalli regolari, in
funzione della qualità dell’acqua, delle condizioni locali e delle prescrizioni vigenti sul
posto.
Eseguire la manutenzione dei seguenti componenti:
• rompigetto (vedi capitolo 15.)
• filtri (vedi capitolo 16.)
• valvola antiriflusso (vedi capitolo 17.)
14.1 Applicare la mascherina di pulizia (a) davanti al sensore.

La rubinetteria si trova ora in modalità “sleep” (riposo).
15. Sostituzione del rompigetto
15.1 Svitare completamente il rompigetto (a) con l’ausilio di una chiave fissa.

14.2 Utilizzare detergenti appropriati, che non corrodono la rubinetteria, e risciacquare con
acqua dopo l’uso. Non utilizzare pulitori ad alta pressione per la pulizia rubinetteria.
16. Sostituzione dei filtri
Filtro della valvola ad angolo
16.1 Chiudere la valvola ad angolo (c).
16.2 Azionare il rubinetto.
16.3 Svitare il flessibile (a) con raccordo (f) dalla valvola ad angolo.
16.4 Sostituire il filtro (b).
16.5 Per il montaggio eseguire la sequenza inversa.
Filtro della valvola elettromagnetica a cartuccia.
16.6 Smontare la valvola elettromagnetica a cartuccia (vedi capitolo 18.).
16.7 Estrarre il filtro (d) con l’ausilio di pinze piatte.
16.8 Sostituire il filtro.

Importante!
Prestare attenzione alla posizione di montaggio. Il ponticello del filtro non deve trovarsi
sul foro di flusso.
17. Sostituzione delle valvole antiriflusso
Avvertenza!
Si devono sostituire sempre tutte le valvole antiriflusso.
La non osservanza di questa regola può causare una proliferazione dei germi nell’acqua
sanitaria con conseguente pericolo per la salute o la vita.

In caso di difetto delle valvole antiritorno, sostituire completamente il raccordo. La
valvola antiriflusso è fissata sul raccordo.
17.1 Chiudere la valvola ad angolo (c).
17.2 Azionare il rubinetto.
17.3 Svitare il flessibile (a) dal raccordo.
17.4 Sostituire il raccordo (b).

Hoekstopkranen (c) moeten door de klant ter beschikking worden gesteld.

10.3 Verbindingsstuk (e) met terugstroomklep op de hoekstopkraan schroeven.

11. Werking
11.1 Hand naar de sensor toe bewegen.
• Het water stroomt.
11.2 Hand van de sensor weg bewegen.
• De waterstroom stopt automatisch na de ingestelde stromingstijd.

afstandsbediening (FAR-bestelnr. 5179 0000) instelbaar.
Belangrijk!
Reflecterende oppervlakken kunnen de sensor beïnvloeden. Er bestaat gevaar voor
permanente reflectie. (zie hoofdstuk 13. over instelling actieradius).
Functie „Auto spoeling“
Attentie!
Als de functie „Auto spoeling“ moet worden gebruikt, moet het water kunnen aflopen.
• Als de armatuur 24 resp. 72 uur niet is gebruikt, zorgt de functie „Auto spoeling“ voor
een gedwongen spoeling, waardoor het water in de aftakleidingen wordt ververst.
• De functie „Auto spoeling“ kan alleen worden ingeschakeld met de optionele
afstandsbediening (FAR.-bestelnr. 5179 0000).
• Af fabriek is deze functie uitgeschakeld.

– Continue stroming voor 3,5 min. resp. 11 min. activeren, omschakelen.
– Armatuur uitschakelen
– Basisinstellingen weer tot stand brengen
– Testmodus voor simulatie zonder water
– Automatische veiligheidsuitschakeling (2–210 s) instellen
– Automatische spoeling activeren

Belangrijk!
Reflecterende oppervlakken kunnen de sensor beïnvloeden. Er bestaat gevaar voor
permanente reflectie. Bij de montage bijv. op wastafels van roestvrij staal moet de
actieradius worden gereduceerd. Als dit niet helpt, is er een extra sokkel/afstandsring
verkrijgbaar (zie hoofdstuk 20.).
14. Onderhoud en verzorging
Afhankelijk van de waterkwaliteit, de plaatselijke omstandigheden en de plaatselijke
voorschriften de armatuur regelmatig controleren en onderhouden.
Onderhoud aan de volgende onderdelen:
• perlator (zie hoofdstuk 15.)
• zeven (zie hoofdstuk 16.)
• terugstroomkleppen (zie hoofdstuk 17.)
14.1 Reinigingsclip (a) voor de sensor schuiven.

De armatuur bevindt zich in de sleep-modus.
14.2 Er dienen reinigingsmiddelen te worden gebruikt die geschikt zijn voor de armatuur en
deze niet aantasten. Na gebruik met water afspoelen. Er mogen geen hogedrukreinigers
voor de reiniging worden gebruikt.

14. Konserwacja i pielęgnacja
Armaturę należy kontrolować w regularnych odstępach czasowych, uzależnionych
od jakości wody, miejscowych warunków oraz lokalnych regulacji i przepisów.
Należy konserwować następujące części:
• perlator (zob. rozdział 15.)
• sita (zob. rozdział 16.)
• zawór zwrotny (zob. rozdział 17.)

Armaturo uporabljati le skupaj s protipovratnimi ventili in mrežicami.
Neupoštevanje teh navodil lahko povzroči povečano obremenitev vode z bakterijami
in ogrozi zdravje, v skrajnem primeru tudi življenje uporabnika.
• Pomembno!
Instalacijo je pred montažo potrebno splakniti.
• Priključnih cevi na armaturi ne krajšati.
• Za oskrbo z energijo uporabljati le originali napajalnik 230 V/50 Hz.
10.1 Armaturo (a) montirati na umivalnik (b).

Pri montaži na umivalnik iz jeklene pločevine upoštevati navodilo glede nastavitve
dosega senzorja Poglavje 13.

Kotna ventila (c) morata biti že montirana na objektu.
10.2 Mrežico (d) vstaviti v kotni ventil.
10.3 Priključek (e) s protipovratnim ventilom privijti na kotni ventil.
10.4 Priključno cev (g) s tesnilom (f) privijti na protipovratni ventil.
10.5 Napajalnik vključite v vtičnico.

11. Delovanje
11.1 Roko približajte senzorju.
• Voda teče.
11.2 Odmaknite roko.
• Po preteku nastavljenega časa se armatura avtomatično zapre.

Doseg senzorja in čas odprtja ventila sta nastavljiva s pomočjo daljinskega
upravljalnika (Naročilna št.: 5179 0000).
Pomembno!
Površine, ki močno reflektirajo lahko vplivajo na delovanje senzorja. V kolikor obstaja
možnost trajne refleksije glej poglavje 13. v zvezi z nastavitvijo dosega senzorja.
Funkcija "Avtomatična splaknitev"
Pozor!
V primeru uporabe funkcije "Avtomatična splaknitev" mora biti zagotovljen prost
odtok.
• Funkcija "Avtomatična splaknitev" v primeru ne uporabe umivalnega mesta
zagotavlja varnostno splaknitev za zamenjavo vode v dovodnih ceveh vsakih
24 ali 72 ur.
• Funkcijo "Avtomatična splaknitev" je možno nastaviti le z uporabo daljinskega
upravljalnika (Naročilna št.: 5179 0000).
• Tovarniško je funkcija izključena.
12. Nastavitev temperature
Stoječa armatura z mešalno ročico
12.1 Mešalno ročico (a) premaknite v željen položaj.
Stoječa armatura s skritim mešalom
12.2 Odstranite pokrovček (b).
12.3 Z notranjim 6 robim ključem (c) nastavite željeno temperaturo.

13. Parametri programiranja
Opcijski daljinski upravljalnik naročilna št.: 5179 00 00 ponuja sledeče možnosti
nastavitev:
– Nastavitev dosega (3-20 cm)
– Nastavitev časa (0-10 s)
– Nastavitev oz. preklop trajnega teka 3,5 min oz. 11 min.
– Izklop armature
– Vzpostavitev osnovnih nastavitev (reset)
– Testno nastavitev za preizkus brez vode
– Nastavitev avtomatičnega varnostnega izklopa (2-210 s)
– Aktiviranje "Avtomatične splaknitve"

Pomembno!
Površine, ki močno reflektirajo lahko vplivajo na delovanje senzorja. Obstaja možnost
trajne refleksije. Pri montaži na npr. umivalnik iz jeklene pločevine je potrebno
zmanjšati doseg senzorja. V primeru, da to ne zadošča je potrebno vgraditi dodatni
distančnik (glej poglavje 20.).
14. Vzdrževanje in čiščenje
V odvisnosti od kakovosti vode in zahtev lokalnega dobavitelja vode oz. zahtev investitorja je potrebno armature bolj ali manj redno vzdrževati in preizkušati.
Deli, ki so potrebni vzdrževanja:
• Perlator (glej poglavje 15.)
• Mrežice ( glej poglavje 16.)
• Protipovratni ventil ( glej poglavje 17.)
14.1 Prstan za čiščenje (a) postavite pred senzor.

Armatura se nahaja v stanju mirovanja.
14.2 Uporabljajte čistila primerna za čiščenje kromiranih površin, ki le teh ne poškodujejo .
Po uporabi čistil armaturo splaknite z vodo. Uporaba visokotlačnih čistilnih naprav za
čiščenje armatur ni dopustna.

15.1 Perlator (a) z viličnim ključem odvijte in zamenjajte.

16. Zamenjava mrežic
Mrežica na kotnih ventilih
16.1 Kotna ventila (c) zaprite.
16.2 Aktivirajte armaturo, da sprostite pritisk.
16.3 Priključni cev (a) skupaj s protipovratnimi ventili odvijte s kotnih ventilov.
16.4 Mrežici (b) zamenjajte.
16.5 Za sestavljanje uporabite obratni vrstni red.
Kartuša z magnetnim ventilom
16.6 Odstranite kartušo ( glej poglavje 18.).
16.7 Mrežico (d) izvlecite s ploščatimi kleščami.
16.8 Mrežico zamenjajte.

Pomembno!
Pazite na položaj mrežice. Plastični rob ne sme prekrivati pretočne odprtine.
16.9 Sestavite armaturo v obratnem vrstnem redu.
17. Zamenjava protipovratnega ventila
Opozorilo!
Menjati je potrebno vedno oba ventila.
Neupoštevanje teh navodil lahko povzroči povečano obremenitev vode z bakterijami
in ogrozi zdravje, v skrajnem primeru tudi življenje uporabnika.

V primeru napake na ventilu se zamenja kompleten priključek, ker je protipovratni
ventil vgrajen v priključek.
17.1 Kotna ventila (c) zaprite.
17.3 Priključni cevi (a) odvijte od priključkov s protipovratnimi ventili.
17.4 Priključka z ventili (b) zamenjajte.
17.5 Sestavite v obratnem vrstnem redu.

18.1 Zaprite kotna ventila.
18.3 Z notranjim 6-robim ključem odvijte vijak (a).
