The automobile has always played an important role
in the life of every Italian. Italy’s automobile market is
traditionally one of the strongest and most important
markets in Europe, with sales totalling 2.5 million
vehicles, Italy occupies third place.
Italy’s entire supply industry, with a market share of
over 18 %, ranks second in Europe. The liberalization
of the distribution structure in the Italian aftermarket
will offer huge opportunities for future growth.

The exhibition grounds Nuovo Polo Fieristico di Roma,
opened in April 2006, impresses visitors with its modern and functional design. Excellent traffic links to
Fiumicino International Airport (3 km from the exhibition grounds, only 5 minutes by train) makes this an
attractive location for international visitors. Rome’s
city centre, only 25 km from the exhibition grounds,
can be reached by train in only 20 minutes.
