U-­‐Hopper Founding Team Italiano Iacopo Carreras, Fondatore e Amministratore Delegato Iacopo possiede un Dottorato di Ricerca in Informatica ed una Laurea in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni. Iacopo ha lavorato nel settore delle tecnologie dell’informazione e della comunicazione per più di 10 anni, sia in ambito industriale che nella ricerca. Ha fondato U-­‐Hopper nel 2010, ed ha ricoperto il ruolo di amministratore delegato sin dalla fondazione dell’azienda. Iacopo è un grande appassionato di tecnologia. La sua missione: sviluppare tecnologie capaci di cambiare la nostra vita, ed, in grande, il mondo. Ha più di 20 anni di esperienza nel settore delle telecomunicazioni, avendo ricoperto incarichi manageriali in Finmeccanica, NTT DoCoMo e Wind Telecomunicazioni. È un imprenditore seriale, avendo fondato, con successo, quattro aziende ad alto contenuto tecnologico. In U-­‐Hopper ricopre il ruoli di presidente del Consiglio di Amministrazione e ne è il direttore finanziario. He has been working in the ICT sector for more than 10 years, in both industry and research. He founded U-­‐Hopper in late 2010, and has been CEO since the inception of the company. He is passionate about technologies and how they can change and enhance our daily life and, on a larger scale, the world.
