During the winter season only wind blowing and snowflakes pouring down can be heard
around: a great enchanting mountain paradise corner for a perfect escape and pampering

Lì dove la Val D’Ayas si apre verso i ghiacciai del Monte Rosa con
ampi declivi ricoperti di boschi e pascoli soleggiati si trova l’Hotel Cré
Forné. Immerso nella natura e a pochi passi dalle piste del Monterosa
Ski, è il luogo perfetto per ritagliarsi una pausa all’insegna dello sport,
ma anche del wellness. La struttura, recentemente rinnovata secondo
il progetto dell’architetto Leonardo Macheda, dispone di 18 confortevoli
camere doppie, tutte dotate di bagno con doccia o vasca e TV,
tre delle quali studiate anche a misura di bambino.
Hotel Cré Forné is located in Crest, Champoluc in the heart of the Alps in Val D’Ayas, Aosta
Valley, and faces the Monte Rosa Glaciers, in the middle of mountain forests and sunny pastures.
A few steps from the best of the Monterosa Ski area sports, it is the perfect destination for
sport lovers and for anyone looking for somewhere to be pampered thanks to the hotel new
Wellness Centre. The property was recently renovated after a project by the famous Italian
architect Leonardo Macheda. There are 18 comfortable double rooms with bathroom - tub or
shower TV set, three of them are equipped for kids.

Val d’Ayas e sul Cervino, il ristorante dell’Hotel Cré Forné con cucina
a vista, propone piatti tipici e non solo studiati per soddisfare anche
i palati più esigenti e saldamente legati al prodotto regionale.
Grazie all’accurata scelta di materie prime tra cui diversi prodotti di
eccellenza, lavorati dallo stesso chef o forniti direttamente da piccoli
produttori che lavorano gli ingredienti artigianalmente, il ristorante ha
ottenuto il marchio di qualità “Saveurs du Val d’Aoste” che riunisce le
eccellenze del territorio valdostano.
Hotel Cré Forné restaurant boasts large windows with stunning views over the Val d’Ayas and
the magnificent Matterhorn (Monte Cervino in Italian). It features a huge open plan kitchen where
typical dishes are made and conceived to satisfy the greatest palates. Special attention is
paid to local and regional raw materials selection and the chef personally takes care of some
food preparations and selects excellent food from local producers. The hotel restaurant has
received the Saveurs du Val d’Aoste quality brand which certifies food and wine authenticity
from the Aosta Valley.
Per chi desidera vivere la montagna senza rinunciare al benessere, è
possibile rilassarsi in una classica Sauna finlandese, che grazie alla bassa
umidità della sua aria stimola la circolazione del sangue e la sudorazione
che purifica la pelle, rinforza il sistema immunitario, e consente momenti di
puro relax. Il Vitarium panoramico, con una vista spettacolare sulla valle, è
il modo più soft per godere della classica sauna. Con una temperatura
compresa fra 55° e 60° e un’umidità attorno al 40%, questa sauna si rivela
particolarmente adatta alle signore che spesso preferiscono trattamenti
a temperatura media e l’uso armonizzante di oli eterici. Infine il centro be
nessere presenta un Bagno turco, dove è possibile godere dei benefici
degli olii essenziali e delle erbe curative disciolte nel vapore che svolgono
un’azione benefica su tutto il corpo.
At the hotel Cré Forné Wellness Centre treat yourself at the panoramic Vitarium, with views
over the valley thanks to its huge windows. Mountain and wellness lovers alike can enjoy the
blissful post-Finnish sauna feeling. Its low humidity (about 40%) stimulates blood flow and the
immune system as well as sweating with a cleansing and smoothing effect for the skin. Vitarium
temperature is set between 55 and 60 °Celsius (131-140 °F), ladies specially appreciate this
average temperature for their treatments and the use of essential oils brings harmony to the
body and spirit. The latter can also be used in the Turkish bath together with natural healing
herbs which are mixed with the steam with beneficial effects for the whole body.

Situato a pochi metri sopra il punto d’arrivo della telecabina del Crest,
a 2.020 metri di altezza, su un balcone naturale che si affaccia sulla
Val d’Ayas, il Monte Rosa ed il Cervino, l’Hotel Cré Forné è il luogo
ideale per una vacanza in coppia, con amici o in famiglia all’insegna
dello ski-total. Appena fuori la porta, infatti, si estende l’intero
comprensorio del Monterosa Ski con i suoi 180 km di piste, le valli
d’Ayas, di Gressoney e la Valsesia in Piemonte ed ancora 38 impianti.
Il Monterosa Ski è conosciuto per lo sci fuori pista (freeride): dalle
linee nei boschi di Champoluc ai percorsi di alta montagna nella zona
dell’Indren e dei Salati, dove la nuovissima funivia per freerider giunge
a 3200 metri di quota, proprio sotto le cime del Monte Rosa.
Ma non solo sci. Per godere dei silenzi della montagna d’inverno,
infatti, non c’è niente di meglio di una gita con le ciaspole: nell’area
di Champoluc si trovano numerosi ed affascinanti percorsi tutti da
esplorare. In estate, la presenza dei grandi ghiacciai ha consentito la
formazione di numerosi laghi che sono meta di emozionanti escursioni.

ACTIVITIES AT A HIGH ALTITUDE
Hotel Cré Forné is located only a few meters over the arrival station of the Crest gondola
(2020 metres, 6627 ft. high) which is actually a natural balcony over Val D’Ayas, Monte Rosa
massif and Matterhorn (Monte Cervino in Italian). Total ski lovers greatly appreciate this unique
location and everybody, couples or friends and families, enjoy this special mountain vacation.
The 180 Km (111 miles) ski-slopes of Monterosa Ski area are just a few steps from the hotel
entrance together with Val D’Ayas, Gressoney and Valsesia valleys and 38 additional lifts.
Monterosa Ski is also well known by freeriders who can have fun in the Champoluc top
mountain woodland off-piste, in the area of the 3200 metres (10498 ft.) of the Indren glacier
and Salati, down the Monte Rosa. Those who do not like cross country skiing can enjoy fresh
snow and wonderful landscapes along special itineraries in the area wearing snow shoes.
Exciting excursions can be made during the summer to a large number of lakes.
