-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1. Motivational letter As a Bocconi MBA graduate (2008) with an international background, I have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the international students when it comes to job search. With a career that has been built around multinational banking and consulting companies, my experience has taught me the importance of building relationships and the immense value it may bring for career development. We must endeavor to bring together alumni resources in new ways that will have an enduring impact on how Bocconi University is perceived and valued by employers. As a BAA Councillor dedicated to International Employability, I would like to help further develop relationships with companies that will open new doors for students seeking to embark on international career paths. Bocconi played a pivotal role in establishing who I am, and I would like to use my skills and knowledge to contribute to the University in a way that will strengthen its path towards internationalization. 2. Description of objectives and activities The key objective of International Employability project is to increase the number and quality of international career opportunities (internships and jobs) for Bocconi University students. In addition, it is important to strengthen Bocconi's position as a target hire school for top multinational Italian and international companies. The above goals can be achieved by cultivating, expanding and monitoring recruiting partnerships and by particularly fostering relationships with alumni. To maximize value for the students, the project should focus on dynamic multinational firms with growing presence in relevant markets that offer quality career opportunities, as determined, for example, by salary levels, number of MBA hires, leadership development programs. Individual discussions should be developed with executive and senior managers at each company to define target collaboration mode with Bocconi University in regards to sponsorships, scholarships, internships and full-time jobs.
