Il 12 e 13 maggio 2016, a Dubrovnik, il 1° Forum della strategia europea per la regione Adriatico-Ionica
Il 12 e 13 maggio 2016 si svolgerà il 1° Forum della strategia europea per la regione Adriatico-Ionica
(EUSAIR).
La Strategia EUSAIR, approvata dal Consiglio europeo nell’ottobre 2014, vuole promuovere una crescita
sostenibile in termini economici e sociali nella regione di riferimento, supportando al contempo il
processo di integrazione dei Paesi balcanici dell’area. Coinvolge 8 Paesi europei: 4 Stati membri UE (Italia,
Slovenia, Croazia e Grecia) e 4 Paesi candidati (Bosnia-Erzegovina, Albania, Montenegro e Serbia) e si basa
su 4 pilastri di intervento:
1. Crescita blu;
2. Connettere la Regione;
3. Qualità dell’ambiente;
4. Turismo sostenibile.
Per quanto riguarda l’Italia, le regioni interessate sono: Lombardia, Veneto, Friuli venezia Giulia, EmiliaRomagna, Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicilia.
Il Forum costituirà l’occasione per fare il punto sui progressi compiuti nell’attuazione della Strategia e
definire come proseguire. Inoltre, offrirà ampie possibilità di networking e opportunità di entrare in contatto
con una vasta gamma di stakeholder della regione, tra cui le amministrazioni a livello nazionale, regionale e
locale, il settore delle imprese, il mondo accademico e la società civile in generale.

Forum of the EUSAIR
The 2007-2013 IPA Adriatic CBC Programme Open Days will be held as a side event to the “1st
Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region”, which is jointly organized by the
European Commission and the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
The Open Days that will take place from 12th to 14th May 2016, in Dubrovnik, Croatia, are an excellent
occasion to give visibility to the projects funded under 2007-2013 IPA Adriatic CBC Programme, to
share the achieved results and to provide an opportunity for networking and exchange of relevant
experiences on an international scale.
The Opening Cerimony of the Open Days that will take place on 12th May 2016 will see the key participation
of the President of Abruzzo Region, Luciano D’Alfonso, and the Managing Authority of the IPA Adriatic CBC
Programme, Mrs. Paola Di Salvatore.
Several activities will be organised such as a workshop on “Prevention and fight against the financial
irregularities and frauds in the Programmes of the European Territorial Cooperation. The IPA Adriatic
CBC Programme”, an “Open Discussion among the projects funded by the IPA Adriatic CBC
Programme, in relation to the EUSAIR Pillars (Blue Growth, Connecting the Region,
Environmental Quality, Sustainable Tourism)” consisting in a roundtable among the Managing
Authority, the Joint Monitoring Committee, the project beneficiaries and the Joint Technical
Secretariat of the IPA Adriatic CBC Programme 2007-2013 on the results achieved by the Programme
and in relation to the EC Programme for the years 204-2020. Moreover, a workshop on “Migration and
Refugees’ flow” and “Business to Business (B2B) meetings” will take place as well.
