DANIELE PARIO PERRA live and work between Italy and Holland and has been involved for several years in art and communication projects focused on relationship
synergies; he uses photography, video and large scale installation. For the relational (public) performances, he uses as a method, public bills, advertisement and
networking strategies able to obtain a large number of contacts. His interest for communication and for its immediate expressions concentrates, from 2001 to the
present moment, on the Fresco's Removal project, where graffiti and writings are removed from walls and buildings and transfered on large canvas pannels allows to
keep track of this communication for the future. The operation allowes the conservation of spontaneous communication traces – otherwise eliminated. The action is
possible thanks to the support of various partners able to inform about edifices and buildings of impending demolition, which containing messages regarding the project.
In 2003 he started collecting photos of street vendors an pedlars in east Sicily as part of Economic Border, a remapping project and a documentary film for favouring the
integration with the urban development of the same vendors which focused on non-globalized economy. In 2004 his interest for communication convinced him to create
Home Less is More, a design project for the Salone Satellite 04 in Milan together with voluntary organisation of homeless people. Later came the Call For Entry
campaign, where he used public bill posting to locate political candidates interested in the cultural and creative growth of the country, and vote for them. In 2005 he
create POLITICS POIESIS a 300 pages book edit by Contraconcept focused on a creative and poietics reply to the contemporary politics. In 2002 starts Design on the
Cheap, a collection of over 1000 pictures which describes the change of use relative to objects and the territory focused in particular on the behaviours. The multilevel
researching is based on the freedom of manoeuvring objects and places by mediterranean area peoples and their inter disciplinary patrimony. The antropological survey,
was enlarged to include the whole of the Mediterranean area, with the help of various partners. A constant political and cultural interest is associated with the survey
and studies of the territory: a way in the production of artworks, another way in the creation of topical workshops regarding the cultural activism like POLITICS POIESIS
in 2005 and ART DISTURBES THE SOCIETY FOR EXTENDING THE BORDERS OF FREEDOM in 2006 and ART SHAKES THE PLANNING FOR SOLVING THE LIMITS OF POLITICS in
2006. In the same year he realizes Montesquieu Interview: an utopian video-interview of the founder of the modern state C.L. de Montesquieu (1689 – 1755) regarding
the future of democracy intended as a base for the future urban & social development. This work was made possible of the intercession of the medium Cristine and of a
scientific committee of scientists and experts of this sector. The compilation of the questions was helped even by 20.000 e-mail messages gathered by a network. In the
same year will follow an interview of M.K. Gandhi and M.L.King. His work is a constant reserch in art, politic, sociology, and urban tendencies: sometimes direct to the
production of installation or, at the same times, editions, data collection, interviews or performance, with a parallel material and immaterial production.
From the 2004 is journalist: Adbusters, Activa, Out and Hitech contributor, in the same year is tutor in the workshop Nomad + House at University la Sapienza in Rome.
From the 2005 is cult searcher for Future Concept Lab in Milan and tutor in the workshop Nomad + Object at University la Sapienza in Rome. From the 2006 is professor
in Design at the faculty of Architecture - University la Sapienza Rome and consulent of Istituto dei Beni Culturali in Emilia-Romagna region. In the 2007 is tutor in the
workshop Urban Body – Delft University of Technology and in the Istrike workshop Movin in Free Zones in Rotterdam with the same partners. In the same year is
coordinator of the workshop Art Shakes the Politics for 13th Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and Mediterranean and tutor in the workshop The Re-Invention of
Everyday Life at University la Sapienza in Rome. From the 2008 is coordinator of the Centro Studi sul Commercio Ambulante (street vendors research center) for the
Chamber of Commerce in Catania.
