Meda Alberto
Born in Lenno Tremezzina (Como) in 1945, Mechanical Engineering Degree at the Politecnico of Milan in 1969, from 1973 technical manager
of Kartell, responsible for the control of project of furniture and plastic laboratory equipments. In 1979 he starts as freelance industrial
designer for various companies: Alfa Romeo Auto, Ansaldo Sistemi Industriali, Alias, Cinelli, Colombo design, Gaggia, Italtel Telematica,
Luceplan, Legrand, Mandarina Duck, Omron Japan, Vitra, etc. Exhibitions "Creativitalia" 1990, and a personal exhibition at the "Design
Gallery", Matzuia Ginza in Tokyo. "XVIII Triennale in Milan" 1992, "The lightness" section of "Il giardino delle cose". "Mestieri d'Autore " 1993

"Metropoli" lamps serie, by Luceplan. 1995 "Industrie Forum design" Hannover for the UNI-X family series of floor lamps. Some products are
in the permanent collection of Museum of Modern Art of Toyama and from 1994 The Museum of Modern Art in New York, includes in its
Design Collection "Light light" chair 1987, the "Soft light"chair 1989 by Alias, and the "On-Off"lamp 1988. He works and lives in Milan.
