ventures working this mountainous land with enormous
passion. Consequently, a strong and well organised
network has been set up to give them the opportunity to
distribute and sell their products at a fair price.

ono i due soleggiati Challand ad accogliere
chi si insinua lungo i tornanti che dal
fondovalle valdostano portano nella Val d’Ayas.
Due comuni un tempo uniti civilmente e religiosamente
che hanno avuto come protagonista indiscussa la
nobile famiglia Challant, il principale casato valdostano
durante il Medioevo. Ad unire oggi è la vocazione
agricola di entrambi i territori, ognuno con le proprie
peculiarità e con un bel fermento di giovani aziende che
allevano, coltivano e producono con passione.
Un soggiorno nelle nostre strutture sempre
attente al chilometro zero potrà riservare molte
piacevoli sorprese!

ollowing the twisty road that lead upwards to the Ayas
Valley from Verrès, the first communities visitors
encounter are the two sun-lit Challand villages.
In the past, these were united as regards both civil and
religious matters under the undisputed power of the
Challant Family, Valle d’Aosta’s chief dynasty that ruled
throughout the entire Middle Ages.
Today, the villages still share a mutual farming vocation,
many young enterprises which rear livestock, cultivate
and produce foodstuffs with great enthusiasm
are continually appearing. A stay at one of our
establishments that offers locally sourced products will
unveil some pleasant surprises!
