In addition several students received honorable mentions and teacher awards. Seventh and eighth grade displays were set up at the Centennial School on Thursday and Friday with winners front the sixth grade at the old Middle School also displaying their projects for ~arents’night. Awards were ~resentrd to seventh and eighth graders at an all school assembly at Centennial on January 21. Sixth grade winners for experiment projects were: Natasha Jakowenko list); Dineen Clalr (2nd) and Anne Hemnann (3rd). Fred Zlnn took first place in graphic arts: David Geiger, second and Eric Miller, third. In the sixth grade collections displays, Craig Snowgold was named .first; Lisa Booth, second and Dan :McLean, third. -Science teachers Sue Hanselman and :.Don Schwarck presented Wophies and ~ribbonsto the following seventh grade :winners: 1 ColIectioz~: Kelly Pastula (1st); ;Randy Helm (2nd); Debbie Hue)’ ~l3rd);and Rose Birckelbaw and David -LaFond, honorable mentlona. Several local citizens and teachers fran the school system assisted the directors of the fair by serving as judges. They were: Don Heick, Sue Smith, Frances Baran, Maria Heath, Norman Somers, Dr. Richard Petricca, David Larwa, Peter Rocco, Carl Curtis, Eric Merrick, Christine Violanta and Ann Greashaber.
