Κατερίνα Κωνσταντινίδου
Επίκουρη καθηγήτρια Ιστορίας Νέου Ελληνισμού. Τα επιστημονικά της
ενδιαφέροντα εντοπίζονται στην ιστορία της βενετικής κυριαρχίας στην Ανατολή.
Έχει ασχοληθεί με την ιστορία της ασθένειας, των νοσοκομειακών θεσμών, της
οικογένειας, του ‘ελεύθερου χρόνου’. Τα τρέχοντα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα
επικεντρώνονται στα ζήτηματα της βενετικής δικαιοσύνης στα εδάφη του βενετικού
Κράτους της Θάλασσας και του τρόπου οργάνωσης και διακυβέρνησης των κτήσεων.
Katerina Konstantinidou
Assistant Professor of Modern Greek History at the department of History and
Archaeology of the University of Athens.
Focuses on early modern studies in the academic field of Venetian-ruled Greek
territories. The main topics of her interests are epidemic diseases, welfare institutions,
and recently Venetian justice in the maritime state as well as the governmental
practices in the Venetian territories in Levant.
