EMANUELA TAGLIAVIA Dancer and choreographer originally coming from classical Ballet, she completes her studies and her professional preparation in contemporary dance, mainly in France. Among her experiences: Compagnia Carla Fracci, Teatro Massimo Palermo, Teatro Grande Brescia, Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, Ballet du Louvre, Ballet des Temps Modernes, Europa Ballet, Company Alain Marty, Company Philippe Tessera, Movimento Danza of Gabriella Stazio, Company Susanna Beltrami, Company Ariella Vidach. She won a Prize as dancer at the Festival of Montauban, in France. Assistant Choreographer at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples (Sparemblek, Nureyev, North, Malandain, Monteverde) Her choreographies: “Der Damon” of Paul Hindemith at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, “Il giro del Tavolo” multimedial project of Roberto Masotti for the Jazz Festival of Roccella Ionica, “Itinerari nei chiostri” in Milan, “Dodici Minuti all’Alba” one of Giorgio Gaslini’s projects, “Corto Circuito” for the Scuola del Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, “Waitingage” for the Festival “Danza da Bruciare” in Rome, “ A la carte” for the Teatro Piccolo Reggio in Turin and Civitavecchia and Cagliari Festivals. She also created the following choreographies: For the Teatro alla Scala School, “Ceci n’est pas”, “La Valse a Mille Temps” Jacques Brel’s song; and “Da Carmen”, a choreography inspired from Peter Brook’s “La Tragédie de Carmen” (Teatro degli Arcimboldi) Choreographical sequences in “Caro agli uomini e agli dei” (Arco della Pace, Milan) and “Le cinque giornate di Milano” (Teatro dell’Elfo, Milan) Creation, choreography and direction of a show for children “Racconti di sabbia” (Società Umanitaria in Milan) Choreography for “Mine Haha”, from Frank Wedekin’s novel, for the Teatro alla Scala and the Scuola Civica Paolo Grassi (Piccolo Teatro, Milan) Dancer and choreographer in “Assenze” (Società Umanitaria, Milan). Choreographical sequences for the opera “Nabucco” in Busseto and Siena (Fondazione Toscanini – Direction S. Monti) and “Rigoletto” (Fondazione Toscanini – Directed by V. Choreographer of the Solo “C’est tout” and “Due Preludi” presented at the festival Rapallo and Mantova In 2002, she starts an artistic cooperation with TA MATETE Gallery in Milan (Performances – events) Choreographer and director of the show “506” inspired by the E.Toti submarine at the Science Museum in Milan (September 2006). In February 2007 show at the Dante Alighieri Theater in Ravenna, and in September of the same year, she creates “Luminare Minus” for Luciana Savignano at the Festival Mito during which a fragment of Lunar stone was exhibited. Choreographer of “Oscillazioni” (Franco Parenti Theater – Futurista Project – February 2008. Since 1999, she is a teacher of Contemporary Dance at the Dance School of the TEATRO ALLA SCALA, where she also has a choreographer mansion. Teacher at the Scuola Professionale Italiana Danza (SPID) in Milan, and at the Milan Scuola D’arte Drammatica Paolo Grassi.
