he final result of the 2016 World KZ Championship does not reflect the overall performance of the Parolin Racing Team during the competition at Kristianstad. Lorenzo
Camplese was equal to the top names in the premier class of karting throughout the
Swedish weekend, with remarkable consistency for his first participation at this level. Parolin
Racing has completed the CIK-FIA international season on an extremely positive note, further
motivating the Italian brand to increase its efforts in racing.
«We are very pleased with our first season at the highest
level in KZ,» said Marco Parolin after the Kristianstad evening. «We have demonstrated throughout the year that
our chassis was capable of competing with the best, even
though the team was making its debut in KZ against very
experienced competition. Our driver Lorenzo Camplese
was able to fight at the front during a very tough World
Championship in Sweden. It means a lot to us and to all
those who trust us. What is certain is that we will not stop
there!»
Camplese never left the top five until the Prefinal. From
Qualifying onwards, he set the 3rd fastest time, beating the
already increased number of champions on the entry list. The
qualifying heats confirmed the speed of the Parolin chassis,
as he was in the top three on Saturday night with successive
extremely fast laps. After his beautiful 5th place in the Prefinal, Camplese made an excellent start in the first few laps of
the Final and took 2nd position. He then lost a few places as
the intensity of the struggle for the victory reached its height.
«The Kristianstad competition will remain engraved in my
memory,» explained Lorenzo. «I have never had the oppor-
tunity until now to use competitive equipment. It was like a
dream. The team has done a great job. While we’re all a little disappointed to have been only classified 13th due to a
penalty, but that’s racing and it’s fine. We have progressed
throughout the season and we are all very motivated to go
even further. Parolin Racing has demonstrated that it fits right
in among the best!»
Before planning 2017 with and a more developed ambitions
and structure, Parolin Racing will compete in the famous Las
Vegas Supernationals in November, an extraordinary event
where the qualities of Parolin chassis will again have the opportunity to shine.

l risultato finale del Campionato del Mondo KZ 2016 è ben lungi dal riflettere il livello di performance globale del Team Parolin Racing in occasione della competizione di Kristianstad.
Lorenzo Camplese si è battuto alla pari con i nomi di spicco della categoria regina del karting
nel corso di tutto il week-end svedese con una costanza straordinaria per il suo debutto a questi
livelli. Parolin Racing termina la stagione internazionale CIK-FIA con una nota estremamente positiva che motiva ancora di più il marchio italiano a intensificare il proprio impegno in gara.
“Siamo veramente molto soddisfatti della nostra prima stagione ai più alti livelli nella KZ”, ha dichiarato Marco Parolin
dopo la prova di Kristianstad. “Nel corso dell’anno abbiamo
dimostrato che il nostro telaio era in grado di battersi con
i migliori, tenendo conto del fatto che il team debuttava
nella KZ di fronte a una concorrenza molto agguerrita”. In
Svezia il nostro pilota Lorenzo Camplese è stato in grado
di battersi nelle prime posizioni durante un Campionato del
mondo di altissimo livello. Ciò significa molto per noi e per
tutti quelli che hanno riposto la loro fiducia in noi. Una cosa è
certa: non ci fermeremo sicuramente qui!”.
Camplese è sempre stato tra i top 5 fino alla prefinale. Sin dalle
prove di qualificazione ha fatto registrare il 3° miglior tempo
precedendo già vari campioni che vantano un ricco palmarès.
Le manche di qualificazione hanno confermato la velocità del
telaio di Parolin, poiché si trovava già nel trio di testa sabato
sera avendo fatto registrare dei giri molto veloci. Dopo l’ottima posizione ottenuta in prefinale (5°), Camplese ha fatto una
partenza straordinaria in finale e per alcuni giri è stato in seconda posizione. In seguito ha perso alcune posizioni sul finale
di gara quando l’intensità della battaglia per la vittoria ha raggiunto i massimi livelli. “La competizione di Kristianstad resterà impressa nella mia memoria”, ha spiegato Lorenzo. “Fino a quel momento non avevo
mai avuto l’occasione di avere un mezzo così competitivo. È
stato come vivere un sogno. Il team ha svolto un lavoro magnifico. Certo, siamo tutti un po’ delusi per la posizione in classifica
(13°) a causa di una penalità, ma è la gara e questa è stata formidabile. Nel corso della stagione abbiamo fatto tanti progressi
e siamo tutti molto motivati a spingerci oltre. Parolin Racing ha
dimostrato di poter occupare un posto tra i migliori!”.
Prima di pensare al 2017 con ambizioni e una struttura più articolata, il prossimo novembre Parolin Racing si schiererà sulla
griglia di partenza del famoso Supernationals di Las Vegas, un
evento fuori dal comune in cui le qualità del telaio Parolin avranno ancora l’occasione di esprimersi.

e résultat final du Championnat du Monde KZ 2016 est loin de refléter le niveau de performance global du Team Parolin Racing pendant la compétition de Kristianstad. Lorenzo
Camplese a fait jeu égal avec les ténors de la catégorie reine du karting pendant tout
le week-end suédois avec une constance remarquable pour sa première participation à ce
niveau. Parolin Racing achève la saison internationale CIK-FIA sur une note extrêmement positive qui motive encore davantage la marque italienne à intensifier ses efforts en compétition.
« Nous sommes vraiment très satisfaits de notre première
saison au plus haut niveau en KZ », déclarait Marco Parolin après l’épreuve de Kristianstad. « Nous avons démontré
tout au long de l’année que notre châssis était capable de
rivaliser avec les meilleurs, alors même que l’équipe faisait
ses débuts en KZ face à une concurrence très expérimentée. Notre pilote Lorenzo Camplese a été en mesure de se
battre aux avant-postes durant un Championnat du Monde
très relevé en Suède. Cela représente beaucoup pour nous et
pour tous ceux qui nous font confiance. Ce qui est sûr, c’est
que nous n’allons pas nous arrêter en si bon chemin ! »
Camplese n’a jamais quitté le top 5 jusqu’à la préfinale. Dès
les essais qualificatifs, il a réalisé le 3e meilleur temps en devançant déjà nombre de champions au palmarès étoffé. Les
manches qualificatives ont confirmé la rapidité du châssis Parolin, puisqu’il pointait dans le trio de tête samedi soir en ayant
aligné des tours extrêmement rapides. Après sa belle place
de 5e lors de la préfinale, Camplese prenait un excellent départ en finale et occupait pendant quelques tours la seconde
position. Il perdait ensuite quelques places en fin de course
alors que l’intensité de la lutte pour la victoire atteignait des
sommets. « La compétition de Kristianstad restera gravée dans ma mémoire »,
expliquait Lorenzo. « Je n’avais jamais eu jusque-là l’occasion
de disposer d’un matériel aussi compétitif. C’était comme dans
un rêve. L’équipe a effectué un travail formidable. Certes, nous
sommes tous un peu déçus d’avoir été classés seulement 13e à
cause d’une pénalité, mais c’est la course et celle-ci fut formidable.
Nous avons progressé tout au long de la saison et nous sommes
tous très motivés pour aller encore plus loin. Parolin Racing a démontré qu’il avait parfaitement sa place parmi les meilleurs ! »
Avant de songer à 2017 avec des ambitions et une structure plus
développées, Parolin Racing s’alignera en novembre prochain au
départ du fameux Supernationals de Las Vegas, un évènement
hors du commun dans lequel les qualités du châssis Parolin auront à nouveau l’occasion de s’exprimer.
