+fortuna is a visual design studio focussed
on graphic and visual design.
The studio develops solutions for publishing,
visual orientation systems, visual identity
for public institutions, cultural and
commercial productions, corporate identity,
web and information design.
Working in the design field and dealing with
many different clients, +fortuna has had
the chance to improve the territorial identity
through a meticulous and colorful design.
Mainly engaged for developing exhibition
design projects, since 2008 +fortuna has
followed the identity of the Glasstress road
show exhibition (www.glasstress.org),
an ambitious contemporary art project which
combines art, design, architecture and music.
In these years the studio has curated the
staging and the outfitting for several road
show locations around the world (Venice,
Riga, Stockholm, New York and Beirut).
Among the latest projects which worth
mentioning, the visual identity system for:
Nato a Venezia (curated by Peter Noever
at Palazzo Loredan) in the frame of the
54. Biennale d’arte di Venezia; the retrospective
exhibition of Bertil Vallien / Nine Rooms during
the 13. Mostra internazionale di architettura
di Venezia; and Within Light / Inside Glass,
an exhibition set up between Venice
and Lisbon.

“a meticulous and colorful design”
Paola Fortuna was born in
Trieste around forty years
ago, where she now lives
and works. Her childhood
in the “city of madness”
profoundly influenced her
way of observing the world.
In 1999 in she established
the facchinetti+fortuna studio
in Venice. In 2010 she went
back to Trieste where she
founded the +fortuna studio,
a space of experimentation
and design.
She graduated at the
Università Iuav di Venezia
and began her carrier
as a visual communication
designer widening her working
skills and experiences with
Pierpaolo Vetta (Tassinari
Vetta studio, Trieste)
and Gianluigi Pescolderung
(Tapiro, Venice).
She now combines her
professional and research
activities, collaborating
with the Università Iuav di
Venezia since 2003. She is a
member of the research unit
Nuove Frontiere del Design
for which she made several
works, last among which is the

Gloria Zanotti was born in
San Marino in 1981. After
the degree in architecture,
she took a MA in visual
communication, focusing
on wayfinding design.

in Trieste in 1991.
After her studies concerning
architecture and interior
design at the local art school,
she start attending the Isia of
Urbino, where she learns how
to deal with graphic design
and visual communication.
