Cosa c’è di nuovo che la C.Boat offre ai propri clienti?
Oggi noi siamo i primi in Europa a garantire per 4 anni le nostre barche, costruite in acciaio o acciaio alluminio, in ogni singola parte, con un programma
di garanzia che prevede ogni semestre un checkup dell’imbarcazione da parte
dei nostri tecnici, a inizio e fine stagione, sempre mettendosi d’accordo con
l’armatore e l’equipaggio.
La produzione del cantiere è di una o due barche all’anno, sapendo come
vengono costruite, per noi è semplice sapere cosa dobbiamo controllare e
quindi mandiamo delle squadre, appunto ogni sei mesi a controllare che tutto
sia utilizzato correttamente, che ad esempio la sostituzione dei filtri, o tutte le
altre ordinarie manutenzioni che consentono il buon funzionamento. Ci sono
alcune parti poi, che sono sovradimensionate per l’utilizzo diportistico o per
il charter, tutti gli impianti ad esempio sono in cupronichel, tutti i cavi elettrici
sono di tipo navale, e tutto questo è quello che ci porta ad avere un prodotto
di eccellenza.
Si tratta di un’iniziativa importante che accompagna con più serenità il cliente all’acquisto, ma come riuscite a dare questa garanzia?
L’azienda nasce nel 2004 e prende vita a cavallo del 2006 e 2007 con la
vendita di alcune imbarcazioni. In questi ultimi anni abbiamo cercato di migliorare e ottimizzare il processo costruttivo, di creare un team di professioni-
sti che facesse parte integrante del progetto, non essere solo dei meri fornitori
ma dei veri e propri partner. Da chi fornisce l’impianto di aria condizionata, a
chi fa l’impianto idrico o chi fornisce l’illuminazione, queste aziende entrano
a far parte del progetto consigliandoci cos’è meglio fare, dandoci consigli,
ognuno nel loro specifico settore. Sono loro stessi che trasferiscono a noi la
garanzia di 4 anni che a nostra volta trasferiamo al cliente.
Dietro la C.Boat Yacht Builder ci sono solo aziende italiane?
Si, le nostre barche sono interamente Made in Italy, ci avvaliamo dell’eccellenza della componentistica italiana.
Le vostre barche sono custom, ma fino a che punto il cliente
è libero?
Il family feeling delle imbarcazioni C.Boat, come ad esempio la prua retta o la
larghezza piuttosto ampia, vengono sempre mantenute dai designer e architetti che collaborano con il cantiere, oggi però sono affiancati da altri designer
come Inzerillo & Albeggiani e Horacio Bozzo di Axis Group Yacht Design che
stanno proponendo delle linee di imbarcazioni che si discostano dal family
feeling, potendo disegnare barche dalla poppa tonda così come anche quelle
dalle linee più slanciate, in maniera tale da accontentare qualsiasi gusto sempre nel rispetto delle filosofia di costruzione del cantiere. E comunque tutte
godono sempre del programma di garanzia del 4 anni.
What’s new at C.Boat?
Today we are the first boatyard in Europe to offer customers a 4-year warranty. Our boats
are made entirely of stainless steel or aluminium, and come with a warranty plan that includes a six-monthly check-up by our technicians at the beginning and end of each season,
always in agreement with the owner and crew. The yard produces one or two boats a year,
and since we know how they are built, it is easy for us to know what has to be checked. Therefore, every six months we send our team to check that everything is used correctly, that,
for example, the filters are replaced regularly and the ordinary maintenance that allows the
proper functioning of the craft is performed correctly. Some parts are over-sized for recreational use or for chartering, all the systems, for example, are in nickel, all the electrical cables
are specifically designed for boats. All this allows us to offer a product of excellence.
This is an important initiative that gives peace of mind to the customer throughout
the purchasing process, but how do you manage to give this warranty?
The company was founded in 2004 and came to life at the end of 2006 start of 2007 with
the sale of some boats. In recent years we have tried to improve and optimise the construction process, to create a team of professionals who are part and parcel of the project,
not simply suppliers but real partners. From the supplier of the air conditioning system, to
the designer of the water system or lighting system, these companies become part of the
project, giving us advice on the best solutions, making suggestions, each according to their
respective expertise. They are the ones who transfer the 4-year warranty to us, which we in
turn transfer to the customer.
Does C.Boat Yacht Builder only work with Italian companies?
Yes. Our boats are made entirely in Italy, using the excellence of Italian components.
Your boats are custom built to the customer’s specifications, but to what extent?
The family feeling of the C.Boat crafts, such as the straight bow or the rather large width,
continue to be preserved by the designers and architects who collaborate with the boat yard,
however they are now joined by other designers such as Inzerillo & Albeggiani and Horacio
Bozzo of the Axis Group Yacht Design, who are proposing lines that diverge from the family
feeling, designing boats with a round stern and sleeker lines, so as to please every taste
while respecting the building philosophy of the boatyard. However, everyone benefits from
the 4-year warranty.

The Shipyard’s history
C.Boat Yacht Builders shipyard comes from an idea that developes in 2005
and becomes effective in 2007 thanks to the brilliant and innovative way
Mauro Corvisieri lives the sea. A Sicilian entrepreneur who has always
loved the sea and has turned his passion into a full-time job. The concept
was that of a durable boat, solid, and with generous volumes, planned to
have a larger width than the classic 6 meters. After he met the engineer
Mauro Mortola this project started: a boat with a steel structure with
plant and seaworthiness like a tug but with refinement and sophistication
of interiors and exteriors typical of a real yacht.This shipyard has the
capacity to produce a large series of yachts starting from 18 meters to 50.
Entirely made of steel, or steel and aluminum, and built with the technical
specifications of the tugboats, but dressed up as yachts, can be compared
to floating luxurious villas or 5 star hotels thanks to their design and
comfort, and they give enough room to the interior cabins and the exterior
deck, thus making them one of a kind in their category. The comfort on
board has a high degree of of both acoustic and thermal insulation thanks
to particular devices which limit the maximum vibration of the propulsion.

I cantieri C.Boat Yacht Builder partono da un’idea nata nel 2005, ma che si concretizza
nel 2007 grazie all’interpretazione brillante e innovativa di vivere il mare di Mauro Corvisieri, un imprenditore siciliano, da sempre amante del mare che ha deciso di fare della
sua grande passione un lavoro. Il concetto era quello di una barca durevole, solida, con
volumi generosi, doveva quindi avere una larghezza superiore ai classici 6 metri. Fu così
che a seguito dell’incontro con l’Ing. Mauro Mortola è nato il progetto di una barca con
struttura in acciaio con impiantistica e tenuta di mare simile ad un rimorchiatore ma con
la raffinatezza e sofisticazione interna ed esterna tipici di un vero yacht. Il cantiere navale
oggi è in grado di produrre un’ampia gamma di modelli che va dai 18 ai 50 metri. Costruiti
in acciaio o acciaio e alluminio, con le caratteristiche tecniche delle barche da lavoro
che possono affrontare attraversate oceaniche, le imbarcazioni C.Boat sono per design e
comfort vere ville galleggianti, lussuose come alberghi a 5 stelle e offrono spazi interni ed
esterni assolutamente unici nelle loro categorie. Viene sempre sfruttato ogni angolo per
poter stivare bagagli e provviste, ogni impianto è posizionato in modo tale da consentire
un facile accesso per le manutenzioni, gli ambienti sono luminosi e panoramici, per far sì
che stando seduti sui comodi divani dei saloni si possa ammirare il mare intorno, le cabine
sono ampie e i bagni dotati di ogni comfort. Hanno inoltre un alto grado di insonorizzazione sia acustica che termica, grazie a particolari accorgimenti che inoltre limitano al massimo le vibrazioni delle propulsioni. Navette dislocanti in acciaio, totalmente customizzabili
secondo il gusto dell’armatore, capaci di navigare nelle peggiori condizioni meteo-marine,
robuste e stabili come delle corazzate del mare, questa la filosofia progettuale adottata da
Mauro Corvisieri, un concetto di base che contraddistingue tutte le imbarcazioni del cantiere. Qualità e innovazione tecnologica sono i cardini di una produzione che da sempre
coniuga le prestazioni elevate con il design, ottenute grazie alla capacità di C.Boat Yacht

La barca in copertina
Il 27-82 SC è una barca costruita in acciaio, come tutte le barche del cantiere, con uno spessore delle lamiere e
impianti tipici di una barca da lavoro. Internamente troviamo le essenze, i tessuti, le pelli tipici delle imbarcazioni custom di alta gamma, oltre alla libertà offerta all’armatore di decidere la disposizione degli interni, in questo caso specifico l’armatore ha voluto un colore della carena giallo taxi, perchè sostiene che la barca in mare si debba vedere.
Le linee d’acqua progettate da Mauro Mortola, hanno una carena a spigolo, meno performante di quella tonda, che
consente però più volumi tecnici e più stabilità durante la navigazione e all’ormeggio. Questo modello offre cinque
cabine tutte con bagno privato, e ha la suite armatoriale a mezzanave. È molto importante sottolineare anche che
al galleggiamento è sotto i 24 metri e rientra quindi tra le imbarcazioni e non tra le navi da diporto, ed è ovviamente
interamente garantita per 4 anni.

The 27-82 SC, is a boat made of
​​ steel, like all the boats of the shipyard, with a thickness of sheet metal and plants
typical of a work boat. Inside there are essences, fabrics and leathers typical of high range custom yachts, in
addition to the freedom offererd to the owner to decide the layout of the interiors, in this particular case, the owner
wished a hull yellow coloured, because he thinks it is important to see the boat in the sea.
The water lines designed by Mauro Mortola, have a chine, less performant than round, which allows much more
space inside and is settled and stable during navigation as well as in port. This model offers five cabins all with
private bathroom, and the master suite amidships. It is also very important to say that the boat is less than 24
meters and is thus not between the boats and pleasure craft, and it ‘obviously fully guaranteed for 4 years.
