Pier Luigi Corona è nato a Roma dove ha iniziato gli
studi musicali con i maestri Mario Cerquozzi e Sergio
Notaro. Successivamente si è perfezionato con Julian
Bream ed Oscar Ghiglia, del quale è stato allievo tre
anni presso l’Accademia Musicale “Chigiana” di Siena,
conseguendovi tre Diplomi di Merito. Ancor prima di diplomarsi in chitarra con il massimo dei voti e la lode,
ha iniziato giovanissimo un’intensa attività concertistica. Come solista si è esibito con varie orchestre, quali
l’Orchestra della RAI di Roma, la Filarmonica di Udine,
il Laboratorio Ensamble, la International Chamber Orchestra, l’Orchestra di Treviso, l’Orchestra “F. Busoni”
e l’Orchestra della Radio- Televisione di Tirana. E’ stato
invitato in prestigiosi festival internazionali, quali i Festival di Salisburgo, Lubiana, Zagabria, Bucarest, Bitola
(Macedonia), Apollonia (Albania) ed Dolnykubin (Slovacchia).Ha tenuto concerti e tournèe in importanti sedi
concertistiche italiane e straniere, tra queste ultime da
citare i recital a New york, Boston, Washington, Buenos
Aires, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Madrid, Barcellona, Siviglia, Cordoba, Malaga, Huelva, Praga, Bruxelles, Vienna,
Klagenfurt, Colonia, Monaco di Baviera, Lussemburgo,
Tripoli, Nairobi. Dal 2004 è solista della “Gorizia Guitar
Orchestra” con la quale ha effettuato alcune tournèe
in Austria, Slovacchia, Repubblica Ceca e Montenegro
e con la quale orchestra ha inciso un CD con i famosi
concerti di J. Rodrigo “Fantasia para un Gentilhombre”
e “Concierto de Aranquez”. Ha registrato per la RAI, la
BBC, la Radiotelevisione Tedesca e Radio Capodistria. Il
repertorio solistico comprende, tra l’altro, l’opera completa di Heitor Villa-Lobos, Johann Sebastian Bach (trascritta dal liuto) e Joaquin Turina. Per la casa discografica Real Sound ha registrato l’opera completa di Joaquin
Turina ed opere di M. Manuel Ponce. Quale vincitore di
concorso è titolare della cattedra di chitarra presso il
Conservatorio Statale di Musica “G. Tartini” di Trieste.
Monica Bulgarelli. Chitarrista, arpista, cantante e compositrice. Diplomata al Conservatorio di Musica “L.Marenzio”
di Brescia sotto la guida del M°Eros Roselli. Ha seguito
corsi di arpa classica, barocca e celtica al Conservatorio
“F.E.Dall’Abaco di Verona specializzandosi nel repertorio
rinascimentale, scozzese e irlandese. Ha studiato canto lirico e moderno con la madre, il mezzosoprano Livia
Matassi. Nel 1996 ha vinto l’Audizione per l’ammissione
nell’Orchestra Giovanile del Veneto. Con le metodologie
Orff-Schulwerk, Z.Kodaly e J.Dalcroze, ha conseguito
diverse specializzazioni in Didattica della Musica. Ha
seguito uno Stage con il chitarrista-compositore Leo Brouwer al Conservatorio “Cherubini” di Firenze. Si è esibita in
numerosi festival di chitarra e manifestazioni musicali sia
in Italia che all’estero. Svolge intensa attività concertistica
in tutta Italia, in musica da camera e con l’orchestra ICHITARRISSIMI da lei fondata nel 2001 e ha ottenuti risultati
eccellenti aggiudicandosi primi premi in concorsi nazionali ed internazionali. Con l’orchestra ha realizzato due
album musicali. È presidente e docente dell’associazione
“ICHITARRISSIMI” con la quale ha vinto il premio”Scuola
Virtuosa” e il premio”Docente Virtuoso” “XII Concorso Europeo di chitarra classica”E.Mercatali”di Gorizia nel 2015.
Nel 2010 ha fondato ed è Direttore Artistico del Festival
Internazionale di chitarra e arpa giunto alla VII° edizione
che ospita artisti da tutto il mondo. È direttore artistico
della rassegna musicale “Giovani Note” di Bussolengo. E’
risultata vincitrice nel 2011, 2012, 2013 e 2014 del “Diploma d’Onore”come miglior docente per il maggior numero di allievi premiati al concorso nazionale”Canossa” di
Verona. Attualmente insegna presso la Scuola di Musica
ICHITARRISSIMI da lei fondata e la Scuola Civica Musicale di Bussolengo.

Pier Luigi Corona was born in Rome, where he began
his musical studies with Mario Cerquozzi and Sergio
Notaro. He then realized his professional and musical formation under the guidance of J.Bream and
O.Ghiglia. With Maestro Ghiglia in particular he studied for three years by the “Accademia Musicale Chigiana” where he was awarded three merit degrees.
Even before graduating with full-honours he had already began an intense concert activity. As soloist
he performed with many different orchestras as the
Orchestra RAI of Rome, the Udine Philarmonic Orchestra, the Ensemble Laboratory, the International
Chamber Orchestra, the Treviso Orchestra and the
“Ferruccio Busoni” Orchestra. He has been invited
to prestigious International Festivals like Salisbury
Festival, Ljubljana, Zagreb and Bucharest. He played
in important concert sites both in Italy and abroad.
Among them: New York, Boston, Washington, Buenos
Aires, La Plata, Mar Del Plata, Madrid, Barcellona,
Sevilla, Cordoba, Malaga, Huelva, Praga, Bruxelles,
Wien, Klagenfurt, Colonia, Monaco, Luxembourg,
Tripoli, Nairobi, collecting a list of fifteen foreign
countries. He has made several recordings with RAI,
BBC and German radio-television. Since 2004 he is
a soloist of “Gorizia Guitar Orchestra” with which he
made several tours: Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Montenegro, and has recorded a CD dedicated
to the famous concerts of J. Rodrigo “Fantasia para
un gentilhombre” and “Concierto de Aranquez”. He
recorded for RAI, BBC, German Radio and Television
and Radio Koper. As winner of a public competitive
exam he holds the chair of guitar at the State Music
School “Giuseppe Tartini” in Trieste.
Monica Bulgarelli. Guitarist, harpist, singer and composer. He graduated from the Conservatory of Music
“L.Marenzio” in Brescia under the guidance of Maestro
Eros Roselli. She followed the classical harp courses,
Baroque and Celtic at the “F.E.Dall’Abaco Verona specializing in the Renaissance repertoire, Scottish and
Irish. She studied classical singing and modern with
the mother, the mezzo-soprano Livia Matassi. In 1996
she won the audition for the Youth Orchestra of the
Veneto admission. With Orff Schulwerk methodology,
Z.Kodaly and J.Dalcroze, holds various degrees in Music Education. She followed a Stage with guitarist-composer Leo Brouwer at the “Cherubini” of Florence. She
has performed in numerous guitar festivals and music
events both in Italy and abroad. She performs concerts
throughout Italy, in chamber music and with orchestra ICHITARRISSIMI she founded in 2001 and has
obtained excellent results, winning first prizes in national and international competitions. With the orchestra has released two music albums. And ‘association
president and teacher “ICHITARRISSIMI” with which he
won the “Virtuous School” and the award “Righteous
Teacher” “XII European Competition of Classical Guitar”
E.Mercatali “in Gorizia in 2015.In 2010 she founded
and is Artistic Director of the International Guitar Festival and harp came to the VII th edition which hosts
artists from all over the world. And ‘artistic director of
the music festival “Young Notes” Bussolengo. And ‘the
winner in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 “Diploma of
Honor” as the best teacher for the greatest number of
students awarded at the national contest “Canossa” of
Verona. She currently teaches at the School of Music
ICHITARRISSIMI she founded and the Civica Scuola
Musica di Bussolengo.

D) DURATION AND METHOD OF LESSONS
Registration deadline: 20 June 2016
1. Each student will be entitled to a
minimum of three lessons for solo guitar
or harp and three lessons for ensemble
distributed over the three days of master
classes.
Upon registration will be paid a fee of € 70
(non refundable) with payment by bank transfer
or postal order.
2. The lessons will be public.
3. At the end of the master will be issued to
participants in a certificate of participation.
4. At the end of the master regular students
will perform in a public concert with
performances of pieces agreed with
teachers.
5. For the participants of the master will be
possible perform in concerts that will be
organized during the days of the master in
the small historic churches of the Bale-Valle
town.
