Il reader ID RED.MRU80-M2-E è dotato di 2 uscite SMA femmina per il collegamento ad antenne esterne.
Le 2 antenne possono essere attivate singolarmente oppure multiplexate tra di loro. Le distanze di lettura
di tag UHF ottenibili dipendono da:




Tipologia dell’antenna esterna utilizzata
Tipologia e lunghezza del cavo
Tipologia del trasponder utilizzato
Potenza impostata sul reader.
Il cuore del reader ID RED:MRU80-2I è il modulo FEIG UHF ISC.MU02.02CU, riferirsi quindi alla
documentazione tecnica del modulo per dettagli tecnic e SDK
Frequenze Disponibili
L’intervallo di frequenze disponibili è 862.000 - 955.000 MHz.
Questo intervallo di frequenze è impostabile tramite software permettendo così l’adeguamento alle vigenti
normative.
Connessione Ethernet ed alimentazione
Collegare il dispositivo alla propria LAN utilizzando un Patch Cord RJ45 cat.5 (non in dotazione) ed
alimentarlo con una tensione di 5V.

Il dispositivo è equipaggiato con un LED verde che indica la connessione con Host.
Settaggio dell’interfaccia Ethernet
Al reader ID RED.MRU80-M2-E è stato assegnato per default indirizzo 192.168.10.10 con porta di
comunicazione 10001.
Per modificare i parametri LAN utilizzare il software a corredo “NPort search Utility” e cliccare sul pulsante
detect. Il programma identifica il reader grazie al mac-address dell’interfaccia lan

Selezionare Miineport E1, viene aperta una pagina web di configurazione
Entrare nel menù “Basic Settings” e poi su “Network Settings”
Modificare a piacimento indirizzo IP presente nel campo “IP Address” e poi cliccare su “submit” quindi
cliccare su “Save and restart”
E’ consigliato una volta impostato il nuovo indirizzo IP, creare un file di backup della configurazione.
Per fare questo entrare nel menù “Maintenance” e poi su “Configuration Tools” quindi su “Configuration
Export” quindi fare il download del file txt di configurazione

Nella cartella della documentazione del reader è comunque presente il file MRU80-M2-E.txt che vi
permette di riportare alle impostazioni di default il reader. In questo caso usare l’utility “Configuration
Import”
Verifica di funzionamento
Installare il programma Isostart presente nella cartella del CD Demoprograms\Isostart.
Una volta installato lanciare il programma dall’icona Isostart 2011, selezionare TCP/IP ed inserire
l’indirizzo IP assegnato, cliccare poi su “detect”. Nella finestra grigia compare il reader riconosciuto.

Cliccare sul pulsante “Avanti” presente nello Wizard per effettuare le oppotune impostazioni sul reader. E’
sempre possibile saltare questo step selezionando la checkBox “Keep Configuration unchanged and exit
Wizard”

Lo step 6 riporta le impostazioni desiderate e permette di scriverle nella Eeprom del reader cliccando sul
pulsante Apply
Il programma Isostart apre automaticamente la schermata degli Host Commands e si mette in lettura.

Avvicinare un tag all’antenna del reader che si è scelto di utilizzare e controllare che compaia un valore
esadecimale nel campo “serial number”
