DICOK
DICOK nasce da un team di esperti subacquei, entra a far parte dell’attrezzatura essenziale per
uso subacqueo, ideale sia per l'esperto , sia per chi si avvicina all'affascinante mondo delle
immersioni per la prima volta.
The DICOK diving knife, planned by a team of expert divers, is an essential part of the
underwater equipment. It is ideal both for expert divers and for whom is approaching the
fascinating world of diving for the first time.

Caratteristiche DICOK per LAVORO IN SUPERFICIE e SUBACQUEO:
DICOK features for surface and underwater work:
A-La lunghezza della lama consente efficaci fendenti in grado di tagliare arbusti, tronchetti
come anche lavori di taglio di precisione o di inserimento grazie alla punta tagliata.
A-The blade length allows effective slashes, to cut small bushes as well as to make precision
cutting jobs or to get inside fissures thanks to the cut tip blade.
B- La dentatura permette il taglio di corde e cime anche in caso di forte usura del filo liscio
della lama.
B- The partial serration allows cutting of ropes even in case of lost sharpened edge.
C- Codolo in acciaio, prolungamento della lama, può essere usato come piccola massa battente

D- Il foro centrale sulla lama permette di forzare l’apertura di grilli

E- Il manico in nylon caricato con fibra di vetro è lavorato con una finitura superficiale
antiscivolo, che rende l’impugnatura ergonomica e adattabile perfettamente sia al guanto che
alla mano nuda del sub, permettendo sia lavori di precisione che di forza sempre con un
adeguato grip.
E-The handle made in fiberglass nylon has an antislip finishing in this way it is ergonomic and
perfectly fitting both to the operator gloves and to bared hands allowing both precision and
heavy works.
F-Il fodero in kydex, che alloggia all’interno del fodero in cordura, può essere utilizzato in
maniera separata con fissaggio al sistema Belt Clip che viene fornito separatamente. ( Il
sistema Belt Clip può essere acquistato presso i nostri rivenditori ufficiali Extrema Ratio)
F-The kydex sheath located inside the cordura sheath, can be used alone with Belt Clips system
which is supplied separately.(The Belt Clip system can be purchased at any Extrema Ratio

G-Il fodero in cordura è stato realizzato per ridurre al minimo le possibilità di impigliamento,
con una struttura compatta e idrodinamica in modo da rimanere aderente al corpo. In
aggiunta è stata studiata, oltre al regolare fissaggio alla caviglia e al braccio, la possibilità di
fissaggio al VIS, per essere facilmente raggiunto in qualsiasi momento e in casi di mobilità
ridotta. (vedi sotto foto 3.4.5.)
G-The cordura sheath has a compact and hydrodynamic structure, in order to remain close to
the body and minimize the risk of entanglement. In addition to the usual fixing to the calf and
to the arm, it has been planned to be fixed also to the VIS. In this way it can be easily reached
in any time and in cases of reduced mobility .(see below photo 3.4.5)

H-ll coltello è fissato al fodero in cordura con due speciali chiusure appositamente scelte di
materiale plastico che non subiscono il tipico fenomeno di incollaggio da ossidazione. Qui di
seguito nello specifico:
H-The knife is attached to the cordura sheath with two special buckles.The buckles are in
plastic to avoid oxidation. Please see following points:
H/1 Chiusura antipanico: E’ sufficiente tirare energicamente la parte superiore con una presa
dal manico, per provocare l’apertura del bottone di emergenza e rendere disponibile il
coltello, senza dover agire sullo sgancio regolare anteriore. Questo garantisce, a differenza
delle usuali sicure di bloccaggio, la garanzia di poter accedere allo strumento anche in
situazioni di panico o shock.(vedi foto 6)
H/1 Anti-panic locking: To activate the emergency button opening , just pull firmly the handle
to have it immediately available. This ensures to get the knife faster even in panic situation
H/2 Sgancio regolare del coltello tramite chiusura a clip: Il coltello è fissato al fodero tramite
una clip che, grazie alla sua forma e alla sezione aperta sul fondo, rende possibile lo scarico di
polveri e sabbia, garantendo la fase di sgancio e aggancio del coltello al fodero sempre
perfetta. Questo permette il porto sicuro del coltello evitando lo sgancio accidentale e la
conseguente perdita dello stesso durante l’immersioni.( Vedi foto 6)
H/2 Regular knife release through closing buckle: The knife is fixed to the sheath through a
buckle. The sheath bottom is open to release dust and sand.Its shape guarantees always the
perfect release and fixing of the knife to the sheath.It allows to wear the knife safely avoiding
accidental unlock of the buckle and following lost of the knife during diving.(see photo 6)

La chiave per lo sbloccaggio della valvola di primo stadio viene data in dotazione e alloggia in
una tasca del fodero in cordura. (see photo 7)
The key to unlock the first stage valve is supplied with the knife and it lays in a pocket inside
the cordura sheath (see photo 7)

SMONTAGGIO DEL FODERO: / TO DISASSEMBLE THE SHEATH:
-RIMUOVERE LA LINGUETTA IN VELCRO CHE FISSA IL FODERO IN KYDEX AL FODERO IN
CORDURA . (vedi sequenza 9)
-REMOVE THE VELCRO TAB THAT FIXES THE KYDEX SHEATH TO THE CORDURA SHEATH.

-LA PULIZIA SIA DEI FODERI ,DELLA LAMA, CHE DEGLI ACCESSORI DEVE ESSERE FATTA CON
ACQUA DOLCE.
-THE BLADE AND THE ACCESSORIES SHOULD BE RINSED WITH FRESHWATER.
-CONSIGLIAMO DI SPRUZZARE LA LAMA CON LUBRASKIN PRIMA DI OGNI IMMERSIONE.
