Una parte importante delle transazioni valutarie mondiali non avviene nei
paesi che emettono le valute scambiate, ma a Londra, Tokyo e New York.
Perché? La risposta sono i cavi sottomarini in fibra ottica rivestiti in kevlar,
per proteggerli dagli attacchi degli squali, che hanno cominciato a essere
posati sul fondo degli oceani nel 1989.
