Who knows whether the jade
accents scattered throughout
the interior of J'Ade are a
result of her name or the other
way around. One thing that is
certain, however, is that J'Ade
will not go unnoticed. This is a
yacht with highly innovative,
characterful exterior lines, a
c
unique layout and décor.
Externally, her strong
personality is expressed in
unusual formal and spatial
solutions and a very
harmonious design that makes
her instantly recognisable. Her
look is aggressive yet
captivating, thanks in part to
the two-tone look of her grey
hull and white superstructure
and the large grey trapezoid
form that connects the two
volumes. “We created the
design around a two-tone
scheme to underscore the
relationship between the hull
and superstructure,” explains
Gianni Zuccon whose studio
penned the exterior lines and
interior arrangement. “Our aim
was to break away from the
classical and formal mores and
one way of doing this was
through the relationship
between the two volumes.”
At 60 metres in length and 10.2

termini stilistici, non
cambia. J'Ade è una barca
che si fa notare. Per le sue
linee esterne, innovative e
fortemente personalizzanti;
e per i dettagli interni, sia
in termini di layout sia in
termini di décor. Esternamente la barca esprime la sua
forte identità grazie alle particolari soluzioni spaziali e
formali e a un design orientato all'unitarietà della forma
che contribuisce a renderla immediatamente riconoscibile.
La linea risulta piuttosto aggressiva e accattivante anche
grazie alla tonalità bicolore che abbina lo scafo grigio alla
sovrastruttura bianca, e al grande trapezio grigio che
collega i due volumi. «Questo progetto è nato proprio sulla
base di un'ipotesi bicolore per evidenziare il rapporto tra
scafo e sovrastrutture», ha spiegato Gianni Zuccon, che
con il suo studio si è occupato delle linee esterne e del

metres in the beam, J'Ade has
four decks and a fly, a crew of
14 and accommodations for 10
passengers in four double
cabins and an owner’s suite.
Despite her aggressive exterior
lines, she is quite a classic
yacht that hides a few
novelties, at least one of which
is very exciting indeed.
“Although her arrangement
falls back on a real standard in
nautical design, she has
several highly distinctive
interior elements,” says Gianni
Zuccon. “The dining area, for
example, is located in the large
panoramic saloon on the upper
deck, and the aft sea lounge
has been melded with a
flooding garage which the
owner can enter in the tender
through the side hatch.”
Practically speaking, the main
deck is given over entirely to
relaxation and music – in fact,
the owner wanted an
eye-catching white Yamaha
baby grand piano instead of the
conventional dining table in
there. Forward on the same
deck is the lobby with its glass
lift to all decks, further
forward are the galley to port
and the owner’s private study
to starboard. The latter leads

questi due volumi», conclude.
Lunga 60 metri e larga 10,2, J'Ade è articolata su quattro
ponti più il fly, ha 14 membri d'equipaggio e può ospitare 10
persone in quattro cabine doppie e una suite armatoriale.
Nonostante le linee esterne decisamente aggressive, si
tratta di uno yacht piuttosto classico, che nasconde però
alcune novità, una delle quali eclatante. «Il sistema
distributivo-funzionale degli spazi, pur utilizzando uno
degli schemi più consolidati nell'ambito della progettazione
nautica, presenta al suo interno diversi elementi distintivi»,
spiega ancora Gianni Zuccon. «Lo spazio pranzo, per
esempio, è previsto nel grande salone panoramico
dell'upper deck, e il soggiorno a mare di poppa è stato fuso
spazialmente con un garage allagabile, all'interno del quale
l'armatore può entrare con il tender dal portellone
laterale», conclude. In pratica, il main deck è interamente
dedicato al relax e alla musica, dato che, al posto del tavolo
da pranzo, l'armatore ha voluto un pianoforte Yamaha
bianco a mezza coda. Verso prua dello stesso ponte è stata

owner’s suite which has a
balcony which can be kept open
under way. The sun deck is
devoted to the dining room and
a lounge area made up of two
large plush L-shaped sofas. It
is here that the jade detailing
really does blossom into a
genuine leitmotif. Two of the 10
dining chairs are in a jade
colour, in fact, as are many of
the throw cushions on the
sofas and furnishing
accessories. The lobby on the
same deck is brightened too by
a jade-coloured ottoman and
vase. The tiled walls in the
steam room in the spa on the
sun deck area are a much
stronger shade of jade,
however, lending the space a
strikingly warm yet lush feel.
There is also a hammam and a
gym. J’Ade’s interior styling is
the work of CRN’s own interior
and design office and tailored
to the owner’s very specific
instructions. The overall look is
classic yet contemporary and
given an extra dash of elegance
by cleverly combined leathers,
woods, marbles and metals.
The latter all meld effortless
too with the Canaletto walnut
that dominates most of the

in navigazione. L'upper deck è interamente riservato alla
sala da pranzo e a una zona conversazione con grandi
divani. Ed è proprio in quest'area che i dettagli color giada
diventano un vero e proprio leit motive. Sono di questa
tonalità due delle dieci sedie del tavolo; una parte dei
cuscini del divano e alcuni componenti d'arredo. Anche la
lobby dello stesso ponte è vivacizzata da un pouf e da un
vaso color giada. Stessa tonalità, ma in una nouance
decisamente più forte, per le pareti del bagno di vapore
della spa che è stata ricavata nella parte coperta del sun
deck e che prevede hammam, bagno di vapore in mosaico e
palestra. Il décor degli interni è stato curato dall'ufficio di
design e interiors di Crn che ha interpretato nei minimi
dettagli le richieste dell'armatore. Lo stile è classico, ma
contemporaneo, reso ancora più elegante dalla fusione di
materiali sapientemente combinati tra loro: legni, pelli,
marmi e metalli si fondono armoniosamente con l'essenza
di noce canaletto che domina gran parte dei ponti e con i

decks and the Afromosia
(African Teak) flooring. Pristine
white Tai Ping carpeting in all
the guest cabins also lifts and
lightens the whole atmosphere.
That said, J’Ade’s most novel
feature is tucked away aft on
the lower deck. The astonishing
flooding garage is an absolute
first in CRN history. At first
sight, J’Ade’s beach club looks
conventional enough with an
aft hatch that lowers to create
a water-skimming beach
platform and a lounge area
with sofas and occasional
tables. However, behind it lies
the aforementioned flooding
garage into and out of which
the tender – a gleaming 27’
Riva Iseo – can be driven
without any need for a crane.
More impressively still, it
empties all of its 18,000 litres
of water in a record three
minutes and, thanks to the
wood-panelled walls and the
underwater lighting, feels very
much a part of the yacht’s
interiors.
J'Ade herself does not stint
performance-wise either: her
twin 2011 hp engines will send
her up to 16 knots at full
throttle or allow her to cruise
at a steady 14 knots.

Ma la sua novità più grande J'Ade la nasconde in basso, a
poppa del lower deck che ospita le quattro cabine ospiti
doppie e il crew quarter. Per la prima volta nella storia di
Crn, infatti, è stato installato a bordo di un megayacht il
garage allagabile. A prima vista il beach club è classico: ha
il portellone posteriore che si abbassa trasformandosi in
una grande spiaggia a pelo d'acqua e una zona lounge con
divanetti e tavolini. Ma alle spalle della zona relax ecco la
novità: un garage allagabile che consente l'ingresso e
l'uscita del tender (un affascinante Riva Iseo da 27 piedi)
senza l'impiego della gru.
Il portellone laterale del garage viene azionato
idraulicamente e la vasca interna si riempie d'acqua. Il
garage, che si svuota a tempo di record (tre minuti per
scaricare i 18mila litri di acqua) è inoltre perfettamente
integrato all'ambiente grazie alle pareti rivestite in legno e
alle luci subacquee che creano un effetto scenografico.
Parlando di performance, J'Ade non è seconda a nessuno.
Grazie a due motori Mtu da 2011 hp ciascuno, lo yacht
raggiunge infatti i 15 nodi di velocità massima e naviga a
una media di crociera di 14 nodi.
