STUDIO
L'OSB è uno studio di
registrazione immerso
nella campagna toscana
ma situato a pochi minuti
dal centro di Firenze,
visibile nella vallata
sottostante. Gli interni
sono ricavati da un
antico fienile e progettati
da Fabrizio Giovannozzi e
Donato Masci.
OSB is a recording
studio in the Tuscan
hillside, just a few
minutes away from the
center of Florence,
which can be viewed
from the surrounding
gardens. The studio
was constructed inside
an old barn and
designed by Fabrizio
Giovannozzi and Donato
Masci.

Tecnico del suono e ideatore dell'OSB, suona
il basso elettrico, il clarinetto e il pianoforte.
Ha una laurea in Economia Aziendale e un
diploma ottenuto all' Alchemea College of
Audio Engineering di Londra. A New York,
grazie alla collaborazione con lo studio Silver
Sound, ha l'occasione di lavorare per diverse
produzioni musicali e cinematografiche sia
locali che internazionali, in qualità di fonico
di presa diretta e di mix.
Compositore in-house dell’OSB e pianista, si
occupa di musica applicata e da concerto sia
in Italia che all’estero.
Vincitore di premi nazionali e internazionali,
Paolo è diplomato in composizione e
pianoforte presso il Conservatorio di Musica
“Luigi Cherubini”e ha un Master in musica
per film, televisione e video games del
Berklee College of Music.
Si occupa dell'OSB come studio Manager.
Con esperienza ventennale nel campo dello
Spettacolo Live e discografico, artistico,
organizza, progetta e gestisce, coadiuvato da
partners di altrettanta esperienza, pubblicazioni e strategie discografiche e Live Tour.

Lawrence is classically trained on the
piano and the clarinet, and a self-taught
bass player. He holds a degree in business
and a diploma from Alchemea College of
Audio Engineering in London. He worked
as a recording and mix engineer at Silver
Sound in New York, where he took part in
local and international film productions as
well as various music projects. Today he is
the owner and resident engineer at
Officina Sonora del Bigallo.
OSB’s in-house composer and pianist, he
writes concert and incidental music both
in Italy and abroad.
Recipient of national and international
awards, Paolo holds degrees in piano and
composition from the Conservatorio di
Musica “Luigi Cherubini” and he is a
graduate from Berklee’s inaugural master
program in scoring for film, television and
video games.

OSB's studio manager has over 20 years
of experience in the music industry and in
show business. He organizes, plans and
coordinates album releases and their
marketing strategies, as well as live tours.

Il "cuore" dello studio è trattato
acusticamente e attrezzato per
missaggi stereo e 5.1. È cablato
direttamente con la sala di
ripresa, con l'iso-booth e con la
stanza di pre-produzione per
consentire registrazioni multisala.
The "Brain" of the studio is
acoustically designed and
equipped for stereo and 5.1
mixing. It is wired directly to the
live room, the iso-booth and the
pre-production suite allowing
for multi room recording.
LIVE ROOM
Coi suoi 50 metri quadri e un'altezza di
5,30 metri, la stanza principale dello
studio è stata progettata per la
registrazione ottimale di strumenti acustici
ed elettrici e può ospitare comodamente
sia solisti che complessi musicali.
With its 500 square feet and 17 foot
ceiling, the studio's main area is
treated for an effective recording of
both acoustic and electric instruments
and is suitable for soloists and
ensembles.
ISO BOOTH
Grazie all'ampio uso di materiale
fonoassorbente e di bass trap, questa è la
stanza ideale per doppiaggi, voiceover,
canto e qualsiasi strumento sia necessario
registrare senza riverbero.
The extensive use of absorbent
materials and bass traps makes it
suited for ADR, voiceovers, vocals or
any other instrument that needs to be
recorded "dry".
PRE PRODUCTION
SUITE
Questo spazio dedicato alla
composizione orchestrale e alla
pre-produzione è insonorizzato, trattato
acusticamente e può essere utilizzato
come stanza di registrazione
supplementare.
This orchestral composition and
pre-production room is sound
proofed, acoustically treated and can
also work as an extra recording room.

Lo studio è dotato di due ampie zone relax,
la prima all’interno, completa di frigo-bar,
divani e angolo tè e tisane, la seconda
all’esterno, nell’ampio loggiato dal quale è
possibile godere della magnifica vista sul
giardino e su Firenze.

Studio guests can take advantage of two
large lounge areas, one inside the
studio with sofas, a mini-bar and a tea
corner and one in the large furnished
loggia that overlooks Florence and the
gardens.
CUCINA
Solo su prenotazione è inoltre disponibile
una grande cucina completamente
attrezzata, con tavolo da pranzo; per
pranzi e cene è altrimenti possibile
utilizzare gli spazi del grande loggiato
esterno comunicante con la cucina.
KITCHEN
It is also possible for our guests to use
the studio’s fully furnished kitchen with
indoor and outdoor dining areas. Only
upon reservation.

Per un servizio veramente completo siamo
in grado di fornire ai nostri ospiti, sempre
e solo su prenotazione, un Personal Chef
specializzato nel tipo di cucina preferita.
NATURA
L’Officina Sonora del Bigallo si trova sulle
pendici della collina del Bigallo ed è
circondata da ettari di oliveto secolare,
uno spazio completamente privato,
all’interno del quale i nostri ospiti possono
passeggiare, praticare mountain bike, Yoga
o semplicemente contemplare il magnifico
panorama in cerca dell’ispirazione.

Our range of extras includes the
possibility for our guests to request the
assistance of a personal chef,
specialised in the cuisine that they
prefer.
NATURE
The studio is located at the foot of the
Bigallo hill overlooking Florence and is
surrounded by several acres of century
old olive groves through which our
guests are welcome to wander,
mountain bike, practice Yoga or just sit
in contemplation of the wonderful view
waiting for inspiration.
