dal forte connotato orientale, articoli evocativi

Akakuro does not only represent a series of
articles, but also what these articles are capable
of transmitting to man by talking to his nature
and deepest inner self. The essential lines
communicate a sombre beauty that is extremely
spontaneous, adorned with inlaid work and
decorative finishes that take the eyes on a journey
discovering new details.
Through his creations, Akakuro does not only
evoke a distant Orient that has now declined,
but also aims to bring to the fore what Oriental
culture has succeeded in creating, making it
useable and relevant to the present day, even
through the senses.
“Traditionally” innovative, Akakuro stirs the senses
thanks to the use of austere, but precious
materials and a design that is captivating in its
linearity. It is in this perspective that a collection,
consisting of evocative, luxurious and precious
articles, with strong Oriental traits has been
created.
La katana è la spada lunga giapponese, anche se
molti giapponesi usano questa parola
genericamente per intendere una spada, Katana
(o più precisamente “Uchigatana”) si riferisce ad
una specifica spada a lama curva e a taglio singolo
usata dai samurai.
Veniva utilizzata principalmente per colpire con
dei fendenti, nonostante permetta tranquillamente
di stoccare, e può essere impugnata ad una o due
mani.
L'arma era portata dai membri della classe
guerriera insieme al wakizashi, o spada corta.
Le due spade insieme erano chiamate “Daisho”,
e rappresentavano il potere o classe sociale e
l'onore dei “Samurai”, i guerrieri che obbedivano
al “Daimyo” (feudatario).
The katana is a long, Japanese sword, although
many Japanese use this word generally to refer
to any sword. The term katana (or more precisely
“Uchigatana”) refers to a specific kind of sword
with a curved blade and a single cutting edge that
was used by the Samurai.
It was mainly used to strike downward blows,
although it can easily be used to thrust too,
and can be held in either one or both hands.
The weapon was worn by members of the warrior
class, along with a short sword called a “wakizashi”.
Together, these words were called “Daisho” and
represented the power or social class and honour
of the “Samurai”, the warriors who obeyed the
“Daimyo” (the feudal lord).

Una replica ridisegnata con cura ed estro, dal
maestro Akakuro, basandosi su modelli d’epoca.
La rappresentazione preponderante del Dragone,
anima e fierezza al tempo stesso della generazione
Yanhuang, dalla quale derivano le principali razze
dell’estremo oriente, ha ispirato il maestro
Akakuro nella creazione di questo manufatto
da collezione, che simboleggia “Prosperità”.
IMPUGNATURA, La “Same” è in pelle di razza
nera con lo “Tsuka-Ito” intrecciato con cotone
e seta nera.
FODERO, Il Saya in legno laccato nero con finiture
marmoree.
LAMA, interamente lavorata a mano in acciaio
inox, di cm 73 con “Hi” o scanalatura scorri sangue
e con “Fuchi” e “Kashira” incisi con la scena del
dragone Akakuro
L'oggetto comprende un fodero in tessuto per
riporla nella sua originale scatola in tessuto
jacquard nero, un espositore in legno e una scatola
con attrezzi per la cura della lama e della Katana
in generale.

KATANA AKAKURO
This is a replica, designed with great
meticulousness and creativity by the maestro
Akakuro based on swords dating from the period.
The predominant portrayal of the dragon,
the pride and very soul of the Yanhuang generation
from which the main races of the Far East descend,
inspired Akakuro to create this collection piece
symbolizing “prosperity”.
HILT, the “Same” is black leather and the “TsukaIto” is interwoven with cotton and black silk.
SHEATHE, the Saya is in black lacquered wood
with a marble-like finish.
BLADE, 73cm and entirely handmade in stainless
steel with a “Hi” or blood groove and with the
“Fuchi” and “Kashira” engraved with the scene
of the Akakuro dragon.
The piece includes a fabric sheathe, for replacing
it inside its original, black jacquard fabric box,
a wooden display case and a box containing tools
for caring for the blade and the Katana in general.

MANUFATTO ORNAMENTALE AKAKURO
Realizzato in carbone attivo cristallizzato tramite
una tecnologia pluri-premiata a livello mondiale
che permette di cristallizzare e rimodellare le
molecole di carbone attivo, normalmente utilizzato
nelle maschere anti-gas, è capace di pulire l’aria
di un stanza da 30 mq e mantenerla pulita per 6
anni da agenti chimici velenosi tipici
dell’inquinamento odierno, come: Formaldeide,
benzene, nitrati, ammonio, ecc.
La tecnologia necessaria alla lavorazione di questo
manufatto è coperta da tre brevetti d’invenzione
internazionali ed è unico nel suo genere.
Il Manufatto è rifinito a mano con colori ad acqua
e ritrae il segno tipico d’ispirazione Akakuro,
il Dragone Mitico della generazione Yanhuang.
La scatola comprende la garanzia e l’espositore
in legno.
ORNAMENTAL AKAKURO ARTEFACT
Created in active carbon that has been crystallized
using a technology that has won numerous awards
worldwide and that makes it possible to crystallize
and remodel the active carbon molecules,
normally used in gas masks. It is capable
of cleaning the air in a 30 m2 room and keeping
it clean of the harmful chemical agents typical
of modern pollution, such as formaldehyde,
benzene, nitrates and ammonia, for 6 years.
The unique technology needed to create this piece
is covered by three international invention patents.
The artefact is hand-finished in water colours and
portrays the typical sign of Akakuro inspiration,
the legendary dragon of the Yanhuang generation.
The box includes the guarantee and a wooden
display case.

AKAKURO WRITING TOOL
The predominant representation of the dragon,
the pride and very soul of the Yanhuang generation
from which the main races of the Far East descend
has inspired the maestro Akakuro to create this
collection pen that symbolizes “prosperity”.
This item consists of ten individual parts, all
rigorously handmade, and a 14-carat gold pennib. It is both a useful and totally unique item.
The box, which is also handmade and has leather,
wood and steel inserts, highlights the extreme
care taken in creating this piece.

In questa collezione il maestro Akakuro ha
combinato l’anima più pura della grande storia
d’oriente con il proprio moderno design,
realizzando quattro vasi dalle linee essenziali che
raffigurano tramite lo stile classico orientale
“le quattro stagioni”.
I manufatti sono realizzati con una tecnica unica
di incamiciatura a due strati di vetro, lavorando
poi la parte più esterna fino ad ottenere un risultato
straordinario anche al solo senso del tatto.
La scatola che contiene la collezione è stata
realizzata per esporre e proteggere il contenuto.
THE FOUR SEASONS OF AKAKURO
In this collection the maestro Akakuro has
combined the purest soul of the great history
of the Orient with his own modern design, creating
four vases with essential lines that portray the
“four seasons” in classical Oriental style.
The artefacts have been created using a unique
technique which consists in coating with two layers
of glass, then working the outer part to obtain an
extraordinary result even with regards to the feel.
The box containing the collection has been
specially designed to display and protect its
contents.

VASO PER IL TE’ AKAKURO
Il maestro Akakuro per questa creazione,
ha combinato l’anima più pura della grande storia
d’oriente, con il proprio stile moderno, realizzando
un vaso dalle linee essenziali che raffigura uno
dei temi classici orientali, l’auspicio di grande
“fortuna”.
I manufatti sono realizzati con una tecnica unica
di incamiciatura a due strati di vetro, lavorando
poi la parte più esterna, fino ad ottenere
un risultato straordinario anche al solo senso
del tatto.
La scatola che contiene il manufatto ed un apposito
cucchiaio in legno è stata realizzata per esporre
e proteggere il contenuto.

PARAPIOGGIA/PARASOLE
Fin dal XII secolo a.C., l’ombrello cerimoniale
apparteneva alle insegne dell’Imperatore della
Cina e tale rimase per circa trentadue secoli,
fino alla scomparsa del Celeste Impero.
Il forte significato di status symbol come
prerogativa regale, o comunque di potere , spiega
la sua contemporanea comparsa nell’immaginario
religioso.
Alla sfera del mito dobbiamo l’introduzione nel
mondo occidentale dell’ombrello, che compare in
Grecia legandosi al culto di Dionisio, Pallade
e Persefone, che tra i loro fedeli contavano
soprattutto donne.
Sono le donne che, nelle feste dedicate a queste
divinità, si riparano in loro onore con un parasole,
passato nel III secolo a.C. anche nel mondo
romano, dove viene descritto dai poeti come
delicato e prezioso oggetto in mani femminili.
Una creazione disegnata dall’abile matita del
maestro Akakuro, che unisce il moderno design
ad una tecnica di realizzazione, nata nell’antico
oriente.
Il manufatto è stato interamente realizzato a mano
in Italia da mastri ombrellai, il risultato magistrale
è questo oggetto da collezione, di gran classe,
ma anche da utilizzare in occasione di grandi
eventi anche soleggiati. I materiali utilizzati sono
tutti di produzione italiana e di prima scelta.
UMBRELLA/PARASOL
Since the 12th century BC the ceremonial umbrella
was one of the emblems of the Emperor of China
and remained so for around thirty-two centuries
until the decline of the Celestial Empire.
Its strong significance as a regal status symbol,
or a status symbol of power, explains its
contemporary appearance in the religious
imagination.
The introduction of the umbrella to the western
world comes from the sphere of mythology as it
first appeared in Greece, becoming closely linked
to the cult of Dionysus, Pallas and Persephone
whose followers were mainly women.
In the celebrations dedicated to these divinities,
women sheltered under a parasol in their honour.
In the 3rd century BC it was introduced to the
Roman world, where it was described by poets as
a delicate and precious object in female hands.
