Il Capo dello Stato Italiano Sergio Mattarella, politico e giurista Siciliano nato a Palermo, ha voluto
destinare la “Medaglia del Presidente della Repubblica” quale suo premio di rappresentanza al XV
International Numismatic Congress, Taormina 21-25 September 2015.
La medaglia, di ca 10 cm di diametro, reca al diritto la Testa turrita della Repubblica Italiana e sul
rovescio la rappresentazione del Quirinale, sito ufficiale della Presidenza della Repubblica.
The Head of Italian State Sergio Mattarella, Sicilian politician and jurist born in Palermo, wishes to
give the "Medal of the President of the Republic” as his award of representation at the XV International
Numismatic Congress, Taormina 21-25 September 2015.
The medal, of about 10 cm in diameter, presents on one side the turreted head of the Italian Republic
and on the reverse the representation of the Quirinale, the official location of the Presidency of the Italian
Republic.
