Ed il cast 2014 si chiude “col botto”! Dall’Asia arrivano a Latina i cavalli della scuderia del
Presidente della Repubblica del Turkmenistan.
È atteso all’aeroporto romano di Fiumicino il volo speciale che dalla Repubblica del Turkmenistan porterà in Italia
gli splendidi cavalli della scuderia del Presidente della Repubblica. Uno spiegamento di forze imponente per
l’allestimento del numero equestre che impreziosirà gli spettacoli della sedicesima edizione del “Festival
Internazionale del Circo – Città di Latina”. I numeri sono quelli delle grandi attrazioni: 9 splendidi cavalli, 13
giovani artisti, un capo-troupe, un istruttore, un manager, un curatore delle pubbliche relazioni, un Direttore di Circo;
questa la composizione della ricca delegazione turkmena al Festival di Latina. Il Circo di Stato del Turkmenistan
partecipa alla competizione portando in pista i cavalli della scuderia del Presidente della Repubblica. Giunti in Italia con
un volo speciale, gli splendidi cavalli presidenziali sono presentati dalla Troupe Galkynysh. Nello speciale allestimento di
spettacolo, la sinergia tra gli artisti ed i loro animali risulta perfetta; i costumi, le coreografie e la musica veicolano con
efficacia i canoni della tradizione cosacca in una veloce girandola di corse al galoppo, piramidi umane, salti mortali ed
evoluzioni mozzafiato. Oltre al numero presentato dalla Troupe Galkynysh, viene ufficializzata oggi l’ammissione
al Festival del numero di “giochi icariani” dei portoghesi Dias Brothers. Con loro si completa il cast
dell’imminente sedicesima edizione. Si chiama "New Generation" ed è il Festival Internazionale del Circo di
Monte-Carlo dedicato ai giovani artisti. La terza edizione della importante kermesse monegasca si è conclusa lo scorso 2
Febbraio con un esito indiscusso: la giuria, presieduta da Pauline Ducruet, figlia di SAS la Principessa Stéphanie di
Monaco, e della quale faceva parte anche il nostro presentatore Andrea Giachi, ha proclamato vincitori del massimo
riconoscimento, “Junior d’Oro”, i giovanissimi portoghesi Dias Brothers con la loro performance di
“giochi icariani”. Tra i loro premi “accessori” anche l’invito a partecipare alla
competizione del Festival di Latina. I giovanissimi fratelli Dias presentano un numero acrobatico nel quale la forza delle
gambe del porteur diventa il motore delle spettacolari evoluzioni aeree dell’agile. 16th International Circus

The cast for the 2014 Festival is completed in style with the arrival of the horses from the stables of the President of the
Republic of Turkmenistan.
A special charter flight will be bringing the horses belonging to the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan to
Leonardo da Vinci Airport, Rome. These splendid horses will be competing as part of an exciting equestrian number
which is bound to be a major attraction at the sixteenth edition of the “International Circus Festival – City of
Latina”.
The large delegation from Turkmenistan at this year’s Festival consists of 9 beautiful horses, 13 young
performers, a troupe leader, an instructor, a manager, a head of public relations and a Circus Director. The State Circus
of Turkmenistan will be participating in this year’s competition with the horses from the stables of
Turkmenistan’s President. Arriving by air with a chartered flight, these animals will be central to the speciallycreated equestrian number presented by Troupe Galkynysh. Characteristic costumes, choreography and music
accompany this typically Cossack number of galloping horses, human pyramids, somersaults and other feats guaranteed
to thrill audiences.
As well as the number that will be presented by Troupe Galkynysh, today we are also able to announce the
confirmation of the ‘icarian games’ number by the Dias Brothers, and with these two numbers the list of
competitors for the upcoming sixteenth edition of the Festival is complete.
"New Generation" is the name of the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival’s youth edition. The third edition
of this important event from Monaco concluded on February 2nd with the adjudication of the “Junior
d’Or” prize to the young Portuguese Dias Brothers with their “icarian games” number. The
jury, whose President was HSH Princess Stéphanie’s daughter, Pauline Ducruet, also included our own
presenter, Andrea Giachi. One of their additional prizes was an invitation to participate at the Festival at Latina. The Dias
brothers are presenting an acrobatic number in which the ‘flyer’ is thrown and spun by the sole power of
the legs of his partner, who is lying down.
