Specifically at Turn 14 you were slow on the racing line in front of another rider who was on a fast lap, and narrowly avoided a collision. This directly contravenes the instructions given at the riders briefing on March 26, the reminder notice to riders issued on April 30, and specifically contravenes the instructions given at the Moto3 rider’s briefing on 24 June at Assen. It is considered to be irresponsible riding causing danger to other competitors and is therefore an infringement of Article 1.21.2 of the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Regulations. For the above motive, Race Direction has decided to impose on Jorge Martin a grid penalty of 3 places and further to impose a suspension from the first 10 minutes of the Warm Up session for the 2015 Gran Premio TIM di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini, according to Article 3.2.1 of the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Disciplinary and Arbitration Code. No appeal has been lodged, the decision of Race Direction is final. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------About the FIM (www.fim-live.com) The FIM (Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme) founded in 1904, is the governing body for motorcycle sport and the global advocate for motorcycling.
