Al Cersaie 2007, Ceramica Cielo ha presentato in anteprima assoluta
la nuova collezione di decori JUNGLE, una proposta anticonvenzionale e preziosa, dall’estetica intensa e dal forte segno contemporaneo,
che rappresenta un’innovativa interpretazione di decoro che si unisce
all’esclusività del pezzo unico: JUNGLE è, infatti, la perfetta manifestazione di un nuovo approccio di design sartoriale per l’ambiente
bagno, che vuole stupire con un’eleganza esuberante e un’enfasi altamente scenografica.
Un progetto di decorativismo nato come strumento per infondere ricchezza percettiva agli ambienti, che sdogana i lavabi e i sanitari dalla loro
funzione meramente funzionale e li trasforma in oggetti totemici, nuovi
indiscussi protagonisti dell’ambiente bagno.
Una collezione “haute-couture”, frutto di un’attenta attività di sperimentazione e di una tecnologia esclusiva, che nasce da un’indagine
sulle potenzialità espressive del materiale ceramico e sulla sua percezione visiva e tattile: per JUNGLE, Ceramica Cielo sceglie materiali
inconsueti per il settore come i preziosi pellami di pitone e coccodrillo
che si plasmano e si fondono nella ceramica, grazie a esclusivi metodi
di lavorazione, per un risultato finale dove la percezione visiva riesce a
trasmettere perfettamente l’effetto materico e tattile tipici di questi
pellami. Un effetto unico, reso possibile grazie anche all’accurata lavorazione artigianale. Il tema dell’artigianalità è uno dei fili conduttori
dell’Azienda: un concetto di “su misura”, come un abito di sartoria, rifinito con la manualità dei migliori maestri artigiani per trasformare ogni
prodotto in un “pezzo unico”, lontano dall’omologazione industriale.
Le texture di JUNGLE s’ispirano allo stile animalier, di grande tendenza.
Collezioni firmate da Paolo D’Arrigo, art director dell’Azienda - 3 finiture:
– Monty, realizzata con pelle di pitone;
– Dundee, realizzata con pelle di coccodrillo marrone e verde;
– Deep Dundee, realizzata con pelle di coccodrillo in affondante bianco
su bianco, dove il colore avorio delle squame si unisce al bianco della
ceramica, come se vi affondasse, per un effetto di grande eleganza.
I lavabi e i bidet sono decorati sia esternamente che internamente
mentre il vaso è decorato solo esternamente con l’interno in ceramica
bianca. Il decoro personalizza anche il coprivaso.

of JUNGLE patterns at Cersaie 2007. This is an unconventional and
refined idea with a strong contemporary personality and a look that is
strikingly attractive, representing an innovative interpretation of
decoration coupled with the exclusivity of a unique one-off product:
JUNGLE, in fact, is the perfect example of a new customised design
approach for the bathroom, which sets out to amaze with an exuberant
elegance and a slant that is highly spectacular.
A decoration project that has been conceived with a view to elevating
the perception one normally has of the bathroom environment, while
releasing washbasins and sanitary ware from a purely functional
vocation to transform them into totemic objects that stand as the
unquestioned protagonists of this domestic interior.
An “haute-couture” collection that is fruit of a meticulous activity of
experimentation and exclusive technology and which derives from a
research into the expressive potentiality of ceramic material and its
visual and tactile perception. For JUNGLE, Ceramica Cielo has chosen
unusual materials for this category of products, such as precious python
and crocodile skins which, thanks to an exclusive manufacturing
technique, mould and meld into the ceramic to produce an end result in
which visual perception succeeds in perfectly conveying the material
and tactile effect typical of these skins.
A unique effect that would have been quite impossible without the
use of special hand-crafted manufacturing processes. The theme of
craftsmanship is one of the leitmotifs running through this firm’s
activity: a concept of “customisation”, like a tailored suit, handfinished by the best master craftsmen to transform each piece into
something quite original and far removed from industrial mass
production.
JUNGLE textures draw their inspiration from the animalier style,
particularly in vogue at the present time. Collections designed by Paolo
D’Arrigo, the Firm’s Art Director. The new finishes are:
– Monty, made with python skin;
– Dundee, made with brown and green crocodile skin;
– Deep Dundee, made with crocodile skin in a melded white on white
finish, in which the ivory colour of the scales blends with the white
of the ceramic material, as if melting one into another, for an effect
of great elegance.
Washbasins and bidets are decorated on both their inner and outer
surfaces, while the toilet is only decorated externally, leaving the inside
in plain white ceramic; the decorative pattern is also used to
personalise the toilet seat cover.
