Property rentals include our fantastic daily breakfast buffet with fresh pastries, tortes, pies, homemade breads, fruit, yogurt, cereals, jams, local

One of the Borgo’s strengths lies in its ability to
bring groups together, and meal times are no exception. to please everyone, or you can opt for a sit-down
three course lunch catered to your wishes. Gleaned
from our own garden whenever possible, dishes reflect the ever-seasonal Tuscan table. Guests often ask for a traditional aperitivo before
dinner with Prosecco, cocktails, and other beverages served alongside delicious appetizers in the
bar, courtyard or on the lawn (weather permitting). This can be followed by a three course din-
ner (though flexibility is
key, so family style and
buffet options are always
a possibility) of classic,
seasonal Tuscan and
Italian specialties that,
as with the lunches, can
be customized to fit your

meals are selected from
the Val d’ Orcia and

The Borgo is a short car ride from the nearest
train station, so any families or group members
that wish to be independent for sightseeing purposes could benefit from renting a car. It is by no
means however a necessity, as Borgo staff can arrange any transfers you may need, including to
our train station in Buonconvento..
Can individual group members use the
Borgo’s services for itinerary planning?
If you are coming to the Borgo as part of a group,
the General Manager, Marco Albanese, is available to arrange transfers and help you plan your
daily itinerary. Sign-up sheets will be available to
help group members reserve bicycles, massages,
etc., and the staff will be more than happy to help
you in planning any day trips you have in mind.

What types of payments do you accept?
While deposits are handled by Marco in advance,
the remainder of your expenses can be paid for on
check-out using all major credit cards.
What airports do you reccomend?
The closest airport is Florence (1.5 hours by car),
Rome is between 2.5 and 3 hours away and Pisa airport can be reached in 2 hours and 40 minutes. For
private planes, we recommend Grosseto airport,
which is only 25 minutes away by helicopter.
