She is supported in the vineyard by agronomist Ruggero Mazzilli and in the cellar by oenologist Giuseppe (Beppe) Caviola – both from Piedmont. Castiglion del Bosco is a fine wine estate as well as an elegant country resort with a rich past. In the Val d’Orcia near Siena, the property is a UNESCO World Heritage site enshrined for its Renaissance-parceled landscape, housing 23 suites in buildings retrofitted into an original medieval village.
