From Pescare of Frontone (PU) to the top of Monte Schioppettino trough the 10th century's hermitage overlooking the valley of the Fosso Madrale, once owned by the monks of the nearby Fonte Avellana. Estimated time: 2,30-3,00 h (stops excluded). Gap: 410 m. Hiking difficulty: E (Hikers). Sunday 6: ALONG THE PATH OF THE HARVESTERS. Morning and evening hikes from Altino di Montemonaco Refuge (AP) to S. Maria in Pantano Church along the historical Sentiero dei Mietitori (Path of the Harvesters), among the woods at the foot of the impressive eastern slope of Monte Vettore. Estimated time: 3.00 h-3,30 h (stops excluded). Gap: 150 m. Hiking difficulty: T/E (Tourist/Hikers). Monday 7: FRASASSI CAVE AND HERMITAGE. Along Frasassi Gorge to the 19th century's Temple and the upper-Middle Age S. Maria Intersaxa hermitage, both inserted as precious jewels inside its caves, in discovery of several natural and less renowed caverns, always distinguishing the famous Gorge, to the romanic bauties of S. From the Sanctuary built in Bramante style and risen on the homonymous plateau to the top of Monte Careschio which we can span the whole western slope of Monti Sibillini from. An easy walk along the rivers of the Lake found out upstream Comunanza (AP), natural entrance to Sibillini Mountains and visit to the amazing romanic church of S. Giorgio all'Isola. Estimated time: 2,00-2,30 h (stops excluded). Gap: 100 m. Hiking difficulty: T (Tourist). Friday 11: NIGHT-HIKE ON PRATI DI RAGNOLO. Walking at nightime up to Pizzo Meta, natural balcony over Sarnano (MC) overlooking the southern Marche Region, waiting for the new moon night to admire constellations. Estimated time: 2,30 h (stops excluded). Gap: 300 m. Hiking difficulty: T/E (Tourists/Hikers). In case of snow, snowshoe walk on the same path! Saturday 12: PIEVEBOVIGLIANA NATURE PATH. Through the woods and the fields between Colvenale Castle and the hamlet of Roccamaia (MC), at the foot of Monte S. Savino, guardian of Lake Polverina. Estimated time: 2,30-3,00 h (stops excluded). In the hearth of Lost Apennine, from Piandelloro of Acquasanta Terme (AP) in discovering of Agore, Poggio Rocchetta and Rocchetta, three semi-abandoned settlements in the late 50’s, absolutely fascinating. Estimated time: 2,00-2,30 h (stops excluded). Gap: 200 m. Hiking difficulty: E (Hikers). Saturday 19: IN THE DISTRICT OF THE TWO KINGDOMS. From Macchia da Sole of Valle Castellana (TE) to Castel Manfrino, the old building perched over Salinello valley, along the old border between the Papal States and the Swabian-Norman Kingdom. Estimated time: 2,00-2,30 h (stops excluded). Gap: 200 m. Hiking difficulty: T (Tourists). Sunday 20: THE MONTE PRIMO. From Trebbio of Sefro to the summit of the mountain overlooking Pioraco and his gorge, characterized by the presence of an ancient Neolithic settlement. Estimated time: 3,00-3,30 h (stops excluded).
