20-21-22 OCTOBER 2006
ALBUGNANO (AT)
and SAN SEBASTIANO PO (TO)
From an anthropocentric
to a biocentric view:
for the new
post development ethics
The 20th October meeting is dedicated
to a multidisciplinary analysis of the
nature-culture relationship and the
man-environment dialogue, with
different cultural approaches and
experiences.
The second and third days, Saturday
the 21st and Sunday the 22nd, will
be dedicated to the reflection on the
post development and those specific
themes that we consider to be
particularly important for current
times and on which we want to be
actively engaged.
We would also like that the time spent
together in such a pleasant
environment will create the
opportunity for a continual exchange
of ideas between the participants and
to build relations which we believe
are fundamental for our vision.

On Saturday morning after a short talk on
what is happening in Italy around the
degrowth themes interventions by the
participants are fully welcomed. The
afternoon will be reserved for group work
to consider a series of thesis.
The themes suggested are:
• agriculture and alimentation
• decrease in material and energy
consumption
• increase in consumption in Asian countries:
anteroom of the unsustainability
• degrowth and current affairs: work,
banlieues, large infrastructure and territory
• practical alternatives: from individual
choices to political decisions
• constitution and reinforcement of the
international network for post-development.
All participants are invited to express their
opinion on these proposals.
On Sunday morning will be evaluated the
points arisen on Saturday and to reflect on
which strengths and ideas can be used to
begin an incisive action of international
relations between the networks of postdevelopment.
