IT Inaugurato nel 2000, il Palacassa delle Fiere di Parma è
uno spazio polifunzionale in grado di ospitare spettacoli,
congressi, convention, cene di gala. L’ampia platea - che riesce
a contenere fino a 5000 posti a sedere - e l’elevato standard
qualitativo delle attrezzature e degli impianti scenografici, audio
e video - in grado di assicurare a tutti l’emozione della “prima
fila” - candidano il Palacassa ad essere il più grande “Teatro
d’Europa”. Il palcoscenico del Palacassa è già stato calcato da
artisti del calibro di Placido Domingo e Josè Carreras - diretti
da Z. Metha in occasione dell’evento clou del Festival Verdi
2001 - Ennio Morricone, Zucchero Fornaciari e Piero Pelù.
La struttura del Palacassa ha inoltre ospitato trasmissioni televisive - come la diretta degli “Oscar del calcio” - e grandi eventi:
fra gli ultimi, in ordine di tempo, i due più importanti musical mai
prodotti nella storia: “Notre Dame de Paris”, lo spettacolo che
con le musiche diRiccardo Cocciante ha commosso gli spettatori
di tutto il mondo, e “I Dieci Comandamenti”, la più imponente
messa in scena della storia, un kolossal dal vivo che ha
necessitato un fronte palco di 46 metri. E poi ancora assemble
annuali di associazione e convention aziendali: confindustria e
Mediacamere, Nestlè, Eismann, Shell, Tupperware, Parmalat,
Sig. Manzini e Cerve, Coca-Cola, Fagioli Group, IBM, Gabetti e
Partesa solo per citarne alcune. In queste occasioni il layout
modulare del Palacassa consente di offrire ai partecipanti
dell’evento aziendale anche cene di gala e intrattenimento.

2000. It is a multipurpose centre that acts as a venue for
shows, congresses, conventions and formal dinners. The large
auditorium (which sits up to 5,000 people) and top quality gear,
stage, audio and video equipment, which give everybody the
impression of sitting in a front row seat, make Palacassa the
largest “Theatre of Europe”.
World famed artists such as Placido Domingo and Josè Carreras,
directed by Z. Metha during the Verdi Festival 2001, Ennio
Morricone, Zucchero Fornaciari and Piero Pelù performed on the
Palacassa stage. What’s more, the structure also hosted TV programmes such as the live coverage of “Oscar del calcio”, as well
as remarkable events like the two most important shows in the
history of musical productions, namely “Notre Dame de Paris”,
Riccardo Cocciante’s show that has moved millions of spectators
around the world with its lyrics, and “I Dieci Comandamenti”
(The Ten Commandments), the most striking and massive stage
production of all times. The live production required a 46 m long
front stage.Palacassa also hosted annual company meetings
and corporate conventions: General Confederation of Italian
Industries, Mediacamere, Nestlè, Eismann, Shell, Tupperware,
Parmalat, Sig. Manzini and Cerve, Coca-Cola, Fagioli Group, IBM,
Gabetti e Partesa just to mention a few. On such occasions the
modular layout of Palacassa can also host formal dinners and
entertainment facilities for the participants.
