Operazioni di base
Per una corrispondenza con le seguenti indicazioni, utilizzare il tablet
in modalità orizzontale.
ACCENSIONE
Premere il tasto accensione per accendere il dispositivo. Occorreranno circa 30 secondi per
accedere alla schermata principale, preceduta dallo schermo bloccato di default.
Se non si effettua lo sblocco entro circa 10 secondi lo schermo si scurirà automaticamente.
Riattivare lo schermo premendo brevemente il tasto accensione sul lato del dispositivo; per
effettuare lo sblocco dello schermo toccare e trascinare in alto l’icona verde di sblocco o il tasto
menu per accedere alla schermata Home.
Uso del Touch screen
Pressione breve: usare la punta del dito per toccare brevemente sul
pulsante desiderato, facendo attenzione a non toccare anche altre parti
dello schermo.
Pressione prolungata: toccare per più di 1.5 secondi per accedere ai
sottomenù della funzione selezionata.
Trascinare: toccare e mantenere e trascinare in alto o in basso per scorrere la schermata. In alcune schermate come pagine web o foto è anche
possibile scorrere lateralmente.
Zoom: effettuare una rapida doppia pressione per effettuare un ingrandimento o un allontanamento della visuale. All’interno di alcune sezioni,
come la visualizzazione di foto o il browser internet, è possibile effettuare
ingrandimenti o allontanamenti della visuale toccando lo schermo con due
dita contemporaneamente e allontanandole o avvicinandole.

SCHERMATA HOME
La schermata Home comprende 5 sezioni ,in cui disporre apps (applicazioni) e widget (applicazioni attive in tempo reale sul display quali orologio, calendario, etc.), navigabili tramite
scorrimento orizzontale sullo schermo.

PERSONALIZZAZIONE DELLO SCHERMO
Per personalizzare la schermata home (vedi pag. 9), è possibile aggiungere scorciatoie per le
app, riposizionarle, rimuoverle e cambiare lo sfondo.
Per rimuovere una scorciatoia per app o widget toccare in modo prolungato sulla stessa e trascinarla poi sull’icona cestino che apparirà.
Scorciatoie
1. Toccare e mantenere su un punto della schermata Home, fino all’apparire della finestra di
dialogo;
2. Selezionare “Scorciatoie”;
3. Scegliere l’applicazione desiderata.
Alternativa:
1. Sulla schermata Home, aprire l’Application tab;
2. Toccare e mantenere sull’applicazione desiderata;
3.L’applicazione verrà aggiunta alla schermata Home. Toccare in modo prolungato nuovamente sull’applicazione per spostarla nella porzione desiderata della schermata home o
trascinarla su un’altra schermata.

Widgets
Le widget sono applicazioni attive sul display, includono un calendario, orologio, lettore musicale, controllo risparmio energia, ricerca Google, etc. Per aggiungere una widget allo schermo
seguire una procedura analoga alla creazione di scorciatoie, selezionando “widget” dalla finestra di dialogo.
1. Toccare e mantenere sulla schermata Home, fino all’apparire della finestra di dialogo.
2. Selezionare “Widget”;
3. Scegliere l’applicazione desiderata.
Sfondi
1. Toccare e mantenere sulla schermata Home, fino all’apparire della finestra di dialogo;
2. Selezionare “Sfondi”;
3. Scegliere lo sfondo desiderato e scegliere “Imposta Sfondo” per impostarlo o “Impostazioni”
per modificarlo.
Alternativa:
1.Aprire l’Application tab, scegliere “Galleria”;
2. Selezionare una foto, scegliere “Menu”, scegliere “Altro”, scegliere “Imposta Come” e poi
“Sfondo”
3. Trascinare lo strumento di ritaglio per selezionare la porzione dello sfondo e toccare “salva”.

3. Scegliere “Automatiche” per utilizzare i valori della rete predefiniti; scegliere “Imposta data” e
“Imposta ora” per impostare manualmente.

3. Selezionare la prima icona per impostare una sveglia
Nota: toccare “Aggiungi allarme” per aprire la finestra di dialogo, selezionare la voce desiderata
per attivare, modificare o eliminare l’allarme. Il tablet non supporta la funzione di sveglia da
spento.
Metodo di input
Il tablet è dotato di un pratico sistema di input di testo, supporta Android input, Guobi input,
Google input.
Per cambiare il metodo di input:
1. Toccare e mantenere in qualsiasi finestra di input di testo (messaggi, email, ricerca google,
etc.);
2. Selezionare “Metodo inserimento”.

Lingua e impostazioni regione
La lingua di default è l’italiano; è possibile cambiarla in ogni momento a seconda delle proprie
esigenze.
1.Aprire l’Application tab;
2. Scegliere “Impostazioni”;
3. Scegliere “Lingua e Tastiera”;
4. Scegliere “Seleziona Lingua”;
5. Scegliere la lingua desiderata tra quelle disponibili.
Personalizzare la schermata bloccata
E’ possibile personalizzare il blocco schermo, per prevenire che persone non autorizzate accedano al dispositivo.
1.Aprire l’Application tab e scegliere “Impostazioni”
2. Scegliere “Posizione e protezione”;
3. Scegliere “Imposta Blocco Schermo”;
4.Osservare la schermata dimostrativa;
5. Tracciare il proprio pattern personalizzato e confermare.

Tempo di spegnimento display
Al fine di risparmiare energia, lo schermo si disattiverà di default dopo 1 minuto di inattività di
default; è possibile modificare questa impostazione.
1.Aprire l’Application tab e scegliere “Impostazioni”;
2. Scegliere “Display”;
3. Scegliere “Timeout schermo” e impostare il tempo desiderato.
Funzioni di telefonia
Tasto telefono
Toccando il tasto telefono si accede alla funzione telefonica del Tablet. La schermata in questa
modalità si orienta in modalità verticale presentando 4 sottosezioni: Telefono, Chiamate, Contatti e Preferiti.
• Nella prima sezione (telefono) è possibile comporre numeri attraverso il tastierino che compare al centro dello schermo ;
• Nella seconda sezione(Chiamate) è possibile visualizzare e scorrere una lista delle chiamate
più recenti; toccando sul numero del chiamante/chiamato è possibile effettuare una serie di
operazioni come richiamare, inviare un SMS o aggiungere il numero alla rubrica.
•La terza sezione (contatti) permette di gestire i propri contatti; toccando il tasto Menù si
accede alle funzioni e alle opzioni della sezione
•La quarta sezione infine permette di visualizzare i contatti preferiti per accedervi in modo
rapido; è possibile configurare un numero preferito dalla sezione contatti, selezionandolo e
toccando sul simbolo della stellina accanto al numero.

SMS
Per inviare e gestire i propri SMS
•Dalla schermata Home, aprire l’Application Tab;
• Selezionare l’icona “Messaggi”;
• Gli SMS appaiono raggruppati in “conversazioni” in base all’interlocutore;
• Toccare sul tasto Menu per scrivere un nuovo messaggio, cancellare le conversazioni, eseguire una ricerca all’interno dei messaggi di testo, accedere alle impostazioni;
• Toccare “Nuovo messaggio” per iniziare una nuova conversazione, altrimenti toccare su una
conversazione per aggiungervi un nuovo messaggio;
•All’interno di una conversazione, toccare il tasto Menu per effettuare una chiamata verso il
contatto, aggiungere un oggetto o un allegato alla conversazione, un’emoticon, eliminare la
singola conversazione o aggiungere il numero dell’interlocutore ai contatti.
E-mail
E’ possibile inviare e ricevere e-mail tramite rete 3G o WiFi.
Per impostare il proprio account email, aprire l’Application tab e selezionare “Email”.
Per le specifiche di configurazione dell’account consultare il proprio provider e-mail.
FUNZIONI MULTIMEDIALI
Musica
1.Aprire l’ Application tab e scegliere “Musica” ;
2. Scegliere il criterio di visualizzazione preferito (Brani, Autore, Album, Playlist, etc.);
3. Scegliere il brano da riprodurre.

Aprire la playlist in riproduzione;
Attivare o disattivare la funzione di riproduzione casuale;
Impostare la ripetizione della canzone attuale o di tutta la playlist;
Aggiungere una canzone alla playlist
1. Toccare e mantenere su un brano;
2.All’apparizione della finestra di dialogo, scegliere “aggiungi a playlist”;
3. Scegliere se aggiungere ad una playlist corrente o crearne una nuova.

Per connettersi ad una rete WIFI
1.Aprire l’Application tab, scegliere “Impostazioni”;
2. Scegliere “Wireless e reti”;
3. Toccare “Wi-Fi” per attivare la funzione;

5. Scegliere la rete desiderata.

Il dispositivo supporta protocolli WCDMA. Assicurarsi che il dispositivo sia spento prima di inserire la SIM card.
Per la configurazione manuale di un punto di accesso:
1. Spegnere il dispositivo e inserire la USIM o SIM card;
2. Accendere il dispositivo;

7. Impostare come indicato dal proprio gestore telefonico;
8. Toccare il tasto menu, scegliere “salva”;
9. Tornare all’interfaccia degli access point, confermare il nuovo APN selezionato;
Quando connessi ad una rete 3G, la barra di stato mostrerà un’icona G.
Auricolare bluetooth
1.Aprire l’Application tab, scegliere “Impostazioni”;
2. Scegliere “Wireless e reti”;
3. Toccare Bluetooth per attivare la funzione;
4. Toccare “Impostazioni Bluetooth” ;

responsabile del funzionamento e del contenuto, e delle relative condizioni d’uso.
ApkInstaller
1. Caricare l’App (.apk) sul tablet;
2. Aprire l’ ApkInstaller;
3. Toccare il tasto Menu e selezionare "Installa";
4. Nella lista dei software, scegliere quello desiderato e toccare “Installa”.
Alternativa:
1. Aprire l’Application tab, e scegliere “File browser”;
2. Scegliere il file del software da installare (.apk);
3. Toccare “Installa” per installare il software.

• Non far cadere il dispositivo;
• In caso di malfunzionamento del dispositivo rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore oppure al centro di
assistenza tecnica qualificato più vicino;
•La presa di corrente deve essere installata vicina all’apparecchio ed essere facilmente accessibile;
•Per alimentare/ricaricare il prodotto utilizzare solo l’alimentatore esterno fornito a corredo. Nel
caso in cui se ne renda necessaria la sostituzione e non si è certi del tipo di sorgente di alimentazione richiesta, rivolgersi al servizio di assistenza autorizzato o al proprio rivenditore. Non tirare mai il
cavo di alimentazione per scollegare l’alimentatore dalla presa elettrica, ma staccare la spina.
•Prima di scollegare l’apparecchio dalla sorgente di ricarica, assicurarsi di disconnettere il carica
batterie dalla tensione di rete.
• Non cortocircuitare il caricatore o la batteria
• Non piegate forzatamente o danneggiate il cavo di alimentazione
• Non posizionate mai il dispositivo sopra o all’interno di dispositivi di riscaldamento come microonde, forni o radiatori.

Per l’uso da parte dei bambini è consigliata la supervisione di un adulto.
Non è un giocattolo.
Tenere lontano da acqua o fonti di calore;
Non aprire o manomettere l’apparato.
Il prodotto contiene una batteria agli Ioni di Litio polimeri. Se la batteria viene gestita in modo
errato, può determinarsi il rischio di incendio o esplosione. Non tentare di aprire o riparare il pacco
batteria. Non smontare o realizzare interventi di assistenza sul pacco batteria; non forare o cortocircuitare i contatti esterni; non gettare il prodotto nel fuoco o nell’acqua; non esporre il prodotto
a temperature superiori ai 60˚C (140˚F).
• Nel caso che l’alimentatore o il suo cavo di collegamento risultassero anche leggermente danneggiati questo non deve essere utilizzato e va sostituito.

l’uso dell’apparato in ambienti esterni, in caso di utilizzo dello standard LAN wireless IEEE 802.11b/g/n.
In Francia, quando il prodotto viene impiegato in ambienti esterni, sono consentiti solo i canali da 1 a 6.
Pertanto, in modalità “Infrastructure Mode”, utilizzando l’apparato all’esterno, è consentito configurare solo

Basic operations
For correspondence with the following indications, use the tablet in
horizontal mode.
SWITCH-ON
Press the on key to power the device. It will take about 30 seconds to access the main screen,
preceded by the default locked screen.
If not unlocked within about 10 seconds, the screen will darken automatically.
Re-activate the screen by briefly pressing the on key on the side of the device to unlock it.
Touch and drag the green unlock icon or the menu key up to the top to access the Home
screen.
Using the Touch screen
Tap: use the fingertip to tap the desired button, paying attention not to
touch other parts of the screen.
Prolonged touch: touch for more than 1.5 seconds to access the submenu of the function selected.
Drag: touch and hold and drag up or down to scroll the screen. In some
screens such as web pages or photos it is also possible to scroll sideways.
Zoom: double click to zoom in or out. Within some sections, such as showing photos or the internet browser, it is possible to zoom in and out by
touching the screen with the finger and thumb, pinching them together
or apart.

CUSTOMISING THE SCREEN
The Home screen (see page. 37) can be customised by adding, re-positioning or removing
shortcuts for the apps, and by changing the wallpaper.
To remove a shortcut for app or widget, touch the same and drag it onto the waste basket icon
that will appear.

1. Touch and remain on a point on the Home screen, until the dialogue window appears;
2. Select “Shortcuts”;
3. Select the desired application.

Widgets are active applications on the display; they include a calendar, clock, music player,
energy saving control, Google search, etc. To add a widget to the screen, follow the procedure
for creation of shortcuts, but select “widget” from the dialogue window.

Display switch-off time
In order to save energy, the screen will deactivate by default after 1 minute of inactivity; this
setting can be modified.

3. Select “Screen timeout” and set the desired time.
Telephone functions
Telephone key
Tap the telephone key to access the Tablet telephone functions. The screen is vertical in this
mode showing 4 sub-sections: Telephone, Calls, Contacts and Favourites.
• In the first section (telephone), numbers can be dialled using the keyboard that appears in
the centre of the screen;
• In the second section (Calls), it is possible to display and scroll through a list of the most
recent calls; by touching the caller’s/called number, a series of operations such as recall, send
SMS or add the number to the phone book can be carried out.
• The third section (contacts), allows to manage your own contacts; by tapping the Menu key,
access the section functions and options.
• Finally, the fourth section allows to show the favourite contacts in order to access them
quickly; a favourite number from the contacts section can be configured, by selecting it and
touching the star symbol at the side of the number.

The SMS appear in “conversation” groups on the basis of the contact person;

• Within a conversation, touch the Menu key to make a call to the contact, add an object or
attachment to the conversation, add an emoticon, delete the single conversation or add the
contact person number to the contacts.
E-mail
E-mails can be sent and received via 3G or WiFi network.
To set an e-mail account, open the Application tab and select “Email”.
Consult your e-mail provider for the configuration specifications of the account.

ApkInstaller
1. Load the App (.apk) onto the tablet;
2. Open ApkInstaller;
3. Tap the menu key and select "Install";
4. Select that desired in the software list and tap “Install”.

PRECAUTIONS REGARDING USE

• Children must be supervised by an adult.
• It is not a toy.
• Keep away from water or heat sources.
• Do not open or tamper with the appliance.
• The product contains a Li-poly battery. Handling the battery incorrectly can lead to a fire or explosion hazard. Do not try to open or repair the battery. Do not disassemble or perform interventions
on the battery assembly; do not pierce or short-circuit the external contacts; do not throw the
product into fire or water; do not expose the product to temperatures over 60˚C (140˚F).
• If the power supply unit or its connection cable should result even slightly damaged, this must not
be used and must be replaced.
• Do not touch the power supply cable with wet hands and do not disconnect the battery charger
by pulling the cable.

•Do not drop the device.
• In the event of device malfunctioning, contact your dealer or the nearest qualified technical aftersales centre.
• The current socket must be installed near to the appliance and be easily accessible.
• To power/charge the product, only use the external power supply unit supplied. If replacement

WARNINGS REGARDING RECORDING OF IMAGES AND SOUNDS
• The Kraun tablet contains technological devices that allow to record photographs and/or films, as well
as download, communicate and/or disclose images, sounds and voices, also in real time, and to record
telephone conversations.
• The images, films, sounds, voice and names are personal data – sometimes sensitive and as such protected
by current regulations – and can also be subject to copyright or other intellectual property rights of third
parties. Moreover, recording a telephone conversation without the consent of the communicator could
constitute a violation of the law according to the current regulations in the country of interest.
• Consequently, the person using the appliance must:
- respect the personal data protection code;
- respect the obligations envisioned regarding the protection of data;
- must respect the right to privacy (prohibiting unauthorised publication of photographs of a person), as
well as regulations regarding copyright and intellectual and industrial property;
- to ensure, when intending to record a telephone conversation, that the communicator agrees and that
the recording does not violate any applicable laws.
• Kraun is not liable for the illegitimate use of its equipment by customers.
Legal warranty and after-sales assistance
The product is assisted by a warranty according to law and in particular: for consumers, i.e.
those purchasing for private use, the respective dealer will apply Legislative Decree 206/2005 –
Consumer Code -, art. 128 et seq.; while for other purchasers (professionals, dealers, businesses,
who usually make purchasers with a VAT code) the guarantees stated in articles 1490 et seq.
of the Civil Code will be valid. They remain in all cases except for any contractual warranties
issued directly by the producer or different contractual agreements between the dealer and
the distributor.

LIMITATIONS OF USE FOR WIRELESS DEVICES
As specified below, there are restrictive conditions valid in France, Italy and Norway for using the equipment
outdoors when using the standard IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless LAN.
In France, when the product is used outdoors, only channels 1 through 6 are allowed. Thus, in "Infrastructure Mode", using the equipment outside, only the authorised channels, between 1 and 6, are allowed to be
configured and the access point must be configured to these channels before establishing the connection.
In Italy: the use of the RLAN network is governed by Legislative Decree No. 259 dated 01 Aug 2003, Articles 104 (activities subject to general authorisation) and 105 (free use) for private use; Legislative Decree
dated 28 May 2003 and subsequent modifications for the provision of public and private access to networks
and telecommunication service; and the updates contained in Legislative Decree dated 12 July 2007.
The channels in the frequency interval between 5.15 GHz-5.35 GHz and between 5.47 GHz-5.725 GHz are
only available for interior use.
In Norway: Use of the apparatus is not permitted within a 20 km range of the centre of Ny-Ålesund,
Svalbard.
In some situations and areas, the use of wireless technology can be limited those responsible for the organisation, for example on board aircraft, inside hospitals or where there is a risk of interference with other
devices. Consult your doctor or the manufacturer of any personal medical devices (pacemaker, hearing aids
and so forth) regarding any limitations in using wireless technology.
Important Informations
Present scientific information does not indicate the need for special precautions for using mobile phones. However, you can limit your exposure, or that of your children, checking on the
phone display the presence of a good radio signal from the repeater (higher the signal, lower
the radiated power from the device), avoiding an excessive length of calls or by using handsfree devices or headphones to keep the phone away from the body and head.
