VINTAGE SELECTION N.17
AN EXTRAORDINARY VESSEL FOR CREATIVITY
The 17th edition of Vintage Selection,
Selection one of the most authoritative and prestigious fairs in Italy and
Europe dedicated to quality vintage fashion and accessories, will be held from 26 to 30
3 0 January 2011
at the Stazione Leopolda.
Vintage Selection is not just for enthusiasts, collectors and ordinary people looking for something
original, but also fashion designers and creatives from the style offices of the top international
fashion companies who come to Florence for Pitti Immagine Filati, the Pitti Immagine fair held at the
Fortezza at the same time. The synergy with this public of true connoisseurs – which Pitti Immagine
has always cultivated through information and promotional campaigns – is one of the strengths and
distinctive features of Vintage Selection and represents a further boost to the quality, innovation
and stylistic research of their proposals.
This 17 th edition will broaden the character of the fair, taking a look across-the-board at the various
aspects of the contemporary culture of vintage with a rich program of initiatives: from an exhibition
dedicated to historical archives – an increasingly essential source of inspiration for today’s
collections – to the presentation of a special guest, as well as conferences and workshops on the
subject of vintage as a privileged witness to past decades and a factor of contemporary creativity.
Vintage Selection will be presenting 50 exhibitors to a public of members of the trade and
enthusiasts which, at the last edition, reached 13,000. The names for this edition:
