The Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden is located splendidly
between the Carinthian towns of Klagenfurt and Villach on
the western bank of the crystal-clear Lake Wörthersee.
Brno
A2 in the direction of Villach-Pörtschach Ost until the
Velden Ost exit, then on the B83, Klagenfurterstraße, in the
direction of Velden. After 1.5 km on Karawankenplatz turn
off at the 2nd exit in the direction of Wörthersee.
Arrival from Ljubljana, Slovenia (94 km)
From Celovška cesta head onto the E61, then take the access
road in the direction of Jesenice/Kranj/Branik.
Follow the E61 (toll road) and then continue on the A11.
At the Knoten Villach exit head onto the A2/E66 in the
direction of Wien/Klagenfurt/Velden-Wörthersee (toll road).
Continue along the E66 which leads to the A2.
At the Velden-West exit in the direction of Wörthersee head
onto the Velden West junction and take the second exit on
the roundabout (Villacher Str./B83). Keep on the right until
you reach Karawankenplatz, and follow the road that leads
to Seecorso. The Schlosshotel’s main entrance is on the right
hand side.

· Klagenfurt Airport (KLU), 20 km transfer. The transfer from
the airport is also possible with a Rolls Royce. Flights from
Cologne, London Stansted, Vienna
· Ljubljana Airport (LJU): 80 km transfer

Lo Schlosshotel Velden incanta ospiti da oltre 400 anni.
Con la costruzione avvenuta nel 1603 il castello divenne
centro indiscusso della regione del Wörthersee. Durante le

e mondano mantenne costantemente la sua posizione
determinante, quale punto di incontro di nobiltà e persone

The Schlosshotel Velden has been captivating visitors for over
400 years. When it was built in 1603, the castle became the
undisputed centre of the Lake Wörthersee region. Throughout
history the sophisticated, glamorous Renaissance building has
always maintained its outstanding position as a meeting place

Da Celovška cesta percorrere la E61, uscire in direzione di
Jesenice/Kranj/Branik. Percorrere la E61 (strada con pedaggio)
e proseguire sulla A11. All’uscita di Knoten Villach prendere
la A2/E66 in direzione di Wien (Vienna)/Klagenfurt/VeldenWörthersee (strada con pedaggio). Proseguire sulla E66 che si
immette nella A2. All’uscita di Velden-West in direzione del
Wörthersee proseguire sul raccordo Velden West e all’incrocio
prendere la seconda uscita (Villacher Str./B83). Tenersi a destra
per arrivare sul Karawanenplatz e seguire la strada che porta
al Seecorso. L’ingresso principale dello Schlosshotel si trova a
